Meghan and Harry the grift that keeps on grifting. Long may they continue. Better than any soap opera on the telly.

She has an aura of immense self-worth and innate confidence that is mindblowing

I don't think that's true at all. Quite the opposite. I see her sense of 'self-worth' and 'confidence' as closely linked to external approval, so not 'innate' at all. That's why she claps back at every single little thing.

appears to bounce back from every failure or setback as though there's some protective force field - a lot of people would have been broken by the sheer volume of negativity that is directed at her

I don't think that's due to 'confidence' though. More to a complete lack of introspection and reflection. Everyone else is wrong. Never her. Unfortunately her husband seems to share the same characteristics.

Oh well, my opinion is exactly that.

I have always wondered why the press have never picked it up.
There’s definitely some fake boobage going on somewhere as she has none in Nigeria, yet at the Commonwealth service her outfit looked like it was straining to contain her boobs!

A designer was quoted as saying their dress was fitted to her but at the fitting she wasn't wearing a padded bra, hence with padded bra it looked awful, her underwear is always ill fitting. If she wore the underwear at the fitting stage most of her outfits back then would have been lovely.

But didn't you previously say that the Sussexes had never mentioned 'privacy' at all?

And why are you continuing to compare the Sussexes to the Wales? You previously said such a comparison didn't 'matter' and as several posters have pointed out, it's a completely inappropriate comparison anyway, because the Wales family have an actual constitutional role. The Sussexes don't, 'chief of staff' and 'global press secretary' aside.

That's hilarious, isn't it, that they actually have people in those roles!
They just love it all.

I think the blue dress was pre-kids. Some women shrink after kids and breast feeding.

Here she is in Australia earlier this year looking suddenly busty again, but her frame is still very petite.

I can't believe there are so many posts speculating on her boobs! 😂I think my DH is the only person to give my boobs that much attention thank goodness. And even he would get bored just talking about them.

Justdancevance · 15/06/2026 08:34

When you watch her videos you can see how nervous she is when she’s not in control or being ignored by those around her.

I’d feel sorry for her if she didn’t then punch down on people to make herself feel better.

Your photographs in high-end fashion aren't beamed around the world though. Since forever, actresses have complained about being picked apart, it part of the price to be paid.
Only Oliver Cromwell requested "warts and all".

With Meghan, I do actually think she deliberately looks to create inconsistencies, as it means people keep talking about her, posting about her, arguing about her etc - it’s one way to stay relevant, I guess?

Take these three photos, posted just a couple of weeks apart, this time last year and all allegedly showing Meghan with her children. The children vary wildly in size, as does Meghan - we know she is very slim (as seen in the photo in the garden), so where did the booty come from in the woman on the balcony? And given the sizes of the children, the balcony shot clearly can’t be an older photo. Then in the beekeeping photo, she is with a young child again. Where did the long legs of the girl on the balcony go?

I think keeping people talking and speculating is exactly what Meghan wants people to do (and look - it works!)

I said this what they said about privacy amd they never said they wanted to a private life in the sense of we will never be seen or heard in public again. They were clear what it meant for them.

I think its a fair comparison, im comparing royal members in this instance. We all have agency over what we decide privacy means for us. They are both Royals (working or non working) and of course as we have previously seen the paps would do anything to get pictures. I think its only right that royal family members (any of them) have the same right we all do in terms of deciding what privacy is for them. Same goes for celebrities or any public figure.

Why is anyone deciding what it should mean for someone else?

Meghan felt the historic societal rules of the family she had married into just didn't apply to her. She has an aura of immense self-worth and innate confidence that is mindblowing and appears to bounce back from every failure or setback as though there's some protective force field - a lot of people would have been broken by the sheer volume of negativity that is directed at her (and I'm not saying it is undeserved). 'Hit the ground running' was a huge red flag when she used it and this does seem to be her MO in life.

She’s just arrogant . It’s not self worth.

Nobody is "deciding" anything for them.
We're discussing it.
In particular, why a couple, who have been such vocal critics of the RF, the institution and the family, should mirror it in a quasi royal lifestyle in California.
Harry feels that his mother was tormented and he and his wife unfairly treated. Why promote their private lives? Why show the children so much? Why share all the details?
These people are uber royals. They love it all. They just didn't like their position in the official RF hierarchy.

I think keeping people talking and speculating is exactly what Meghan wants people to do (and look - it works!)

People talking about her is generating clicks and cash for the nasty MSM and SM - none of this activity appears to encourage people to purchase tat and UPFs from her site - she’s inadvertently creating a revenue stream for the people / organisations she hates whilst eroding her own brand due to the ridicule she elicits.

SisterTeatime · 15/06/2026 09:44

I don’t think it’s true arrogance, or self worth. I think it’s mental illness, personality disorder, or both.

Who would ever think they’d get into the car ahead of the (elderly) Queen? That’s not just breaking protocol, bad manners or nerves, it’s absolutely bizarre.

In the past I was sceptical about alcohol playing a part but now I am not so sure, as it is common to use substances to cope with symptoms and her recent posting has been odder than ever.

I would feel sorry for her, but the collateral damage has been so bad, it’s hard to.

Meghan has a tendency to wear a very padded strapless bra.

IMO that's been why she has issues with fit. She wears different underwear to the fittings, then decides to wear the padded strapless one on the day. Rookie error.

bluegreygreen · 15/06/2026 10:14

The relevance of Meghan's solo engagement with the Queen is that it happened in June 2018, a month after her marriage to Prince Harry.
It was yet another example of how much the Queen was trying to make her feel welcomed into the family (and the family business).

Catherine's first solo engagement with the Queen didn't come until May 2019, almost 8 years after she was married.

In his book about working for the RF, Valentine Low says that they did everything to make Meghan feel welcome and gave the couple everything they asked for.
He claims that it became apparent early on that they were determined it wouldn't work and were looking for negatives.

I agree about not feeling that family "rules" should apply to her, Lifestooshort, but not so much about the aura of self-worth and confidence

IME people with these things are secure enough in themselves to accept what's required on certain occasions without compromising their overall personal style, and sadly Meghan can't manage even that

For me the constant lies and word salad don't really go with self worth and confidence either, suggesting instead a wish to appear as something she really isn't, and it all creates a picture of someone very difficult to work with, whether you're a luxury fashion brand, a streamer or anyone else

But how can it be 'clear' when according to you they never even mentioned 'privacy'?

They are both Royals (working or non working) and of course as we have previously seen the paps would do anything to get pictures.

Huh?

"Paps" barely exist anymore. And at least in Britain, they never go near royal children. When is the last time you have seen a 'pap' photo of a royal child? Are you living in the 90s, just like Meghan?

And as has been explained above, the Wales and Sussexes are very different. One family has a role in British public life. The other doesn't.

Maybe instead of fixating on made up definitions of 'privacy' you could actually address the arguments people have made.

Exactly a recent equivalent comparison to A and L would be the Edinburgh/Wessex children, James is only 11 years older than Archie. They were grandchildren of the monarch growing up but i dont remember seeing much about them when they were children and why should we have done. None expected or wanted constant photos of them they were allowed to grow up in privacy.

I'll repeat my question to you you have ignored, since you think everyone should be able to have agency over their own privacy:

What is your position on Harry and Meghan's unauthorised intrusion (your words) into Harry's family's private lives for monetary gain in all their "controlled" media vehicles? Sharing wholly private conversations, wholly private interactions, anatomical commentary on one's sibling, commentary on their marriage and their children, pretty much providing a descriptive floor print to their homes and private quarters? What is your position on Harry and Meghan denying - for huge monetary gain - his family's ability to, in your words, [retain] the agency to decide what parts of [their] life are public and what parts remain personal?

Exactly. There simply are no paps anymore, certainly not in the UK, and not in the US.

As well as having Harry's therapist on speed dial, the Sussexes seem to have Karl Larson of Backgrid on speed dial, since he is constantly present whenever they are out and about at some obscure event/dinner. Backgrid only turn up when they are called to do so, they don't just hang out at polo fields on the off chance a prince will turn up. He's also the pap who got Thomas Markle Sir into trouble before the wedding. Harry and Meghan have a symbiotic relationship with what's left of the class of photographer called "paparazzi", not a hostile one.

All joking aside, this fervent attempt at a defence would ring less hollow, less hypocritical, if M hadn’t recently stood on a roundabout lecturing us all about the danger of sm to children ( after previously posting a picture of her own child!) , no amount of wordy comments can make people not remember the behaviour that they have seen with their own eyes! 🤷‍♀️

You realise the danger to social media is not about a parent posting a few pictures online. Its children having social media accounts and being subjected to algorithms and you would know this if you actually looked into what it was about that she was speaking about

Interesting then that our PM has just announced a ban on social media for under 16s for the very same reasons, that its a danger to children to be using it. A similar ban is in place in a number of other countries.

At least be factual about what she was talking about when it comes to the dangers of social media instead of phoning in one specific example.

Yes, this too @Justdancevance

Admittedly the principal family members will attract attention anyway, but at least they're capable of directing it towards others when necessary, and the contrast with Meghan's camera hungry behaviour is painful

Best tell Harry that.

“Parents can do whatever they want,” Harry responded.

“But from what I’ve seen, what I’ve heard, what I’ve experienced, is you should be really really worried, concerned and cautious about putting photographs of your kids online.

“Especially now, with this surge of unregulated AI. You don’t know where it’s going to go, how it’s going to be used."

I wasn't ignoring you. I had a busy weekend and wasn't really on my phone beyond making calls, and when I checked my notifications I hadn't even worked through them all yet, I just started with the most recent one.

I've also not replied to plenty of other people. A delayed response isn't the same thing as being ignored, and I'm under no obligation to reply immediatel, or at all.

What I do take issue with is being accused of ignoring someone when they have absolutely no idea why I haven't responded. There are any number of reasons someone may not reply straight away, and jumping straight to the worst conclusion is both unfair and rude.

Quite frankly, given your attitude, I won't be engaging further. I prefer to have discussions with people who are polite enough not to make assumptions about my intentions.
