Hello I thought I'd start a thread where we can build up the excitement for tomorrow 😂

I'm enjoying the English Country/ family vibe I'm getting from the setting and wedding prep.

Fox Gloves in the flowers 💕

I'm looking forward to seeing Harriet's dress, she's a very attractive women, but the flowers are always of special interst to me.

Who do we think will be bridesmaids? Peters P's and Harriet's daughters presumably? Zara's kids?

I read that Philip and Zara have a half sister who will be attending, I didn't kow about her!

I also read that Peters first wedding to Autumn was sold to Hello and criticised for this. Very tacky. It looks like he's learned and is not cashing in this time, so hopefully we'll get a good look at evryone.

I;m really not keen on the headband-y thing Zara is wearing but like the colour

EmpressSisi · Yesterday 13:33

Oh what a gorgeous colour on Zara 🥰

Zara looks great, love the silver shoes

Foxgloves are highly toxic, are they not? I only say this because AI keeps recommending me to plant foxgloves/digitalis in a particular spot in my garden but I won’t because I have a dog that likes to go grubbing there. So, after the drama over the Lily of the Valley in Meghan’s bouquet, foxgloves are an interesting choice.

The guests are not going to eat them, it should be fine!

I've only had a brief look at the photos so far as annoyingly i have a busy afternoon!

Initial thoughts: not keen at all on the brides dress. Looks stiff, itchy and fussy. Such a shame.

Bridesmaids dresses are lovely.

Princess of Wales looks gorgeous. Love her hat and the 50s vibe of her outfit.

Really disappointing all the kids aren't there.

Hope they're going to the reception later. I'm old school and like kids at weddings.

She’s wearing Rebecca Vallance who makes such beautiful elegant clothes

Anne looks very old suddenly. I know she's 75 and everything, but I hope she's not ill.

Camilla looks great. Catherine looks freezing.

SlayTheJAway · Yesterday 13:38

The bridesmaids dresses and flowers in their hair are odd - a look for a flower girl really rather than teenage girls.

Nanda66 · Yesterday 13:39

Sophie normally looks lovely but I didn’t like her dress this time. I think it looks a bit matronly and not her best colour.

EmpressSisi · Yesterday 13:39

Some info about the flowers. They incorporated Lily of the Valley in tribute to TLQ

Kate looks nice. Beatrice in a hideous dress.

Agreed on both counts.

Anne looks the same as always. She hasn’t aged well, but has chosen not to have tweakments and seems happy in her skin.

According to the press, Catherine's outfit is pink. Who knows. The "Style and Beauty" forum lot would say it's far too white and she's trying to steal the bride's thunder.

Yes, because the Princess of Wales is so unknown and never gets her day in the spotlight! She must have been desperate for someone to take her photo, just for once!

I don’t agree. I think they look wonderful. Peter’s girls, at least, will know there’s a royal expectation in terms of dress and those are probably a compromise between what they want to wear and what they’re expected to wear. Yesterday they had on jeans with bellies and shoulders hanging out as so likely know where they have to tow the line

Cocolapew · Yesterday 13:44

I love the bridesmaids

BasiliskStare · Yesterday 13:45

I'm not keen on those dresses with lace sleeves or necklines. However , that is because I just look at them and think that's going to be itchy. That's my problem not the bride's. Others will think how lovely or all a bit Grace Kelly. I like the slim skirt on Harriet's dress.

Re Camilla and Kate wearing "too light colours" - I think pastel colours don't always show up in a camera glare the colour they are. Eg people said Catherine wore cream to H&M's wedding - it wasn't it was pale yellow / lemon. Personally I would not have done the veil over the face. I bought my dress as a discounted evening dress and a lovely woman dyed my French lace veil ( which was long) with tea to match the dress. I didn't put it over my face because with heels I am not much shorter than DH & I could see all sorts of hilarity ensuing if he tried to fold it back 😂Actually I didn't really want to walk down the aisle looking a bit Miss Haversham , but people will differ and good for them.

I thought Harriet's bridesmaid's dresses were very elegant and rather lovely.

Yes, they are. But should be ok in a bouquet.

How come two divorced people are getting married in Church . Thought only Church of Scotland allowed it which was why Anne got married there . And Charles and Camilla couldn't get married in a church .And bridal white . At least Camilla didn't try that . I think Camilla outfit at her wedding with headpiece was fabulous.

Lace always looks cheap to me.

Not sure why. Maybe it was growing up with everyone having polyester lace tablecloths.

I agree. Gorgeous on tots. Silly on teenagers.

Camilla's wedding outfit was perfect. It's my favourite of her outfits, along with the midnight blue Dior cape gown she wore at Versailles a few years ago.

I do think full bridal veil and train is a bit OTT for a previously married woman in her 40s, but obviously it's not for me to decide!

SlayTheJAway · Yesterday 13:56

I don’t really understand why a second wedding isn’t deemed appropriate for full bridal attire? Do people still think like that?!
