God, wouldn't you love to hear what info the RF are sitting on?

I would indeed and wouldn't limit it to the Sussex antics.

Catching up but revisiting the AWOL wedding invite, I can't imagine being bothered about being overlooked by some tedious, entirely charisma free cousin getting on for a decade older and tying their second knot.

H allegedly giving af smacks of desperation.

CathyorClaire · Today 20:35

If you got MM to do a post-divorce interview, how would you - OW - play it? Straight? Sympathy again? Revenge?

Any way that meant I was laughing all the way to the bank just like the last time...

BasiliskStare · Today 20:49

Rhaidimiddim · Today 20:23

If you were OW.

And had had your reputation (such as was) trashed by swallowing M&H's tales of woe about the BRF without question.

That were - some immediately, some with the passage of time - shown to be egregious lies.

So that your outraged Whatt!- face became a meme for stupidity

And the BRF weathered it and you had to do a reparation interview the day after QE2 died.

If you got MM to do a post-divorce interview, how would you - OW - play it? Straight? Sympathy again? Revenge?

What a good question. So for the avoidance of doubt I am not a billionaire media mogul, so my thoughts are my own. 😂

If she does want the interview (if it ever happens and therein is an assumption of a divorce which I hope won't happen because H&M are happy with each other - just my hope) I'd think she'd go largely with what M wants to say because otherwise she won't get the interview.
She might insert a few questions to ask "but you told me before .... " I do think she would try to ask a few more perspicacious questions just to try to not look like a willing fool for Meghan ( what's the saying , fool me once - shame on you , fool me twice , shame on me ) . I don't know who else M would go to ( in the hypothetical circumstances ) I don't know who the big interviewers are.

Bit naughty of me - but I were OW , with all her money , and I'd been made to look a fool , I'd say - sorry you took me for an idiot & I'm not willing to interview you. & I would make it public.

But at the ‘tedious cousin’s’ wedding will be all the RF that’s who they want to be around. Missing out on things to put in another book or leak when the times right.

CathyorClaire · Today 20:58

The shop stocked items in the higher price range and, whilst I was browsing one display area, three customers spent £189, £286, and £354 respectively.

The profits from ticket sales and gift shop sales boost C3's private wallet.

I'm at a loss really as to why these proceeds can't be applied to the eye watering and still unexplained ballooned costs of renovations to |BP.

StrawberryWasp · Today 21:05

I'm looking forward to Peter Philips wedding.
I love a wedding.
A royal wedding is always interesting.

Of course it will be all over the news. With the whole family together looking happy. Kids involved.

It's going to be very painfully stark to Harry: he didn't just leave the role, he left the family when he viciously turned on them.

He's not a part of it anymore.

He's such a self absorbed that he still doesn't understand his actions had consequences. He has to blame William he can't face the painful truth:

He's a self absorbed dim wit and his wife is a grandiose narcissist.

CathyorClaire · Today 21:06

But at the ‘tedious cousin’s’ wedding will be all the RF that’s who they want to be around.

Do we know all the majors will be there?

The grifting tedious cousin's blotted the royal copy book fairly regularly over the years and it's a second broom jumping.

Can't see it as a priority.

I think it's a bit harsh to brand Peter Phillips as tedious and charisma-free (unless you actually know him..?). His sister and parents are great fun, there's no reason why he isn't as well.

Serrinn · Today 21:14

I can't help thinking how dumb it is to complain about not being invited to something. It's just never a good look. Sounds entitled, shows you care and feel bitter, and removes any chance of styling it out by letting people believe you might have been invited (but were unable/unwilling to attend).

It's such a pointless and detrimental thing to do, compared with doing... well... literally nothing.

MyAutumnCrow · Today 21:20

OW either encouraged M&H’s lies, or fell for their lies.

Neither duplicity and avarice nor gullibility is a good look for her.

I go by what I read really like most of us and the reported impression he gives is dull and grasping much like the wider family.

Do you know his sister and parents well enough to declare them 'great fun'?

MrsLeonFarrell · Today 21:29

I really hope there isn't a divorce interview, because I hopethat, after all this stress and angst, they are happy together.

But if Oprah did one I think she would be far less accommodating because once it's done it would be the end of Meghan's usefulness to her. It's blatantly obvious that the "friendship" is purely transactional. If she really cared about Meghan she would have done a better job the first time.

ShamedBySiri · Today 21:41

From X - the story isn’t linked, so just the X post. But I love the idea of Meghan being fed up if the drama! She brings the drama! Though they both stir it up and feed off it.

“An exclusive story placed by Meghan’s PR team; making Megs the poor victim of Harry’s history and life. Meghan is the drama 😂

“Meghan is increasingly keen to distance herself from the drama as she tries to build her lifestyle brand, with a royal source telling the Mirror she wants to steer clear of Harry’s “chaos”.”

Oh well. Make of that what you will. Also Harry got to go solo to a cookery book release, which is odd as the chef had appeared in WLM so one might have expected Meghan to be the one invited to attend.

Prince Harry made a surprise solo appearance in Los Angeles at the release party for his friend, chef José Andrés, to celebrate his new cookbook, Spain My Way: Eat, Drink, and Cook Like a Spaniard.”

I get where you are coming from. I don't know Peter P . According to reports they are expecting W&C and children to be invited. Not so much KC & C . However it would be a somewhat "royal occasion" by association so I can imagine H&M would like the photos of them mingling with the family. I do get your point that Peter did not put himself in the best light with the (was it Chinese? ) milk adverts. & there was a question about him organising one of the jubilee things , I think.

Anyway I do think H has let his "source" tell of his disappointment , because I suspect it just might be dawning on him that he's closed a lot of family doors , and I suspect H&M are very very much missing the royal adjacency , even if it is just Peter Philips. But a relatively small 2nd wedding at Princess Anne's home so I wouldn't be surprised if H was a hard no from the start. If you haven't spoken to someone for 7 years ish - why would you invite them to your wedding. Let alone their +1 (ok wife) , when they caused problems for granny , uncle etc and no-one would be able to relax in case they were using it as "content". Harry , you f-cked up. Get used to it. 😂

I’d do revenge, 100%

I agree. It's also a bit cringeworthy. However, Harry has shown that he's unable to rise above such things.

Loads of opportunities for OW to intercut anything MM says with excerpts from the 2020 interview (including outtakes).

I fully expect The King to be there. He is Peters godfather and very close to Anne.
Im sure I read The Queen won’t be there as she has a longstanding engagement planned.
Fully expect the Wales family to be there - I expect George Charlotte &Louis want to see the Phillips/Tindall cousins. Mia & Charlotte seem to gravitate to each other.
Who wouldn’t want to go to a private summer wedding with their family held at their aunts house so maximum privacy and maximum fun!
Catherine is off the booze so she can drive!

… the whole thing being book-ended by OW’s fulsome ‘apologies to the beautiful King and Queen and Princess Catherine and William’ for having been manipulated and deceived.

She could contrast this with an earlier scene where she previously offered M an opportunity to say if she feels that she has anything she’d like to apologise to the royal family for … and is met with ‘Absolutely not!’

The End.
