She's such a hypocritical ass.

Papercompany · Today 07:28

So many poor choices..... I can't understand why they wouldn't just take proper advice at this stage around their PR image.

HoldMyWine · Today 07:33

It’s always someone else’s fault, a little self reflection would go a long way.

According to Harry, no-one seems to have any personal agency. Only William, Catherine, KC and Camilla. Others are their willing fools. It's really very strange.

I see the full intelligence that led Harry to call William ‘alarmingly bald’ is back on full display.

He really is a scruffy monument to the irredeemably shabby death throes of the colonial classes.

MrsFinkelstein · Today 07:43

Maybe Harry should have made more of an effort to keep in touch with his cousin Peter if he wanted a wedding invitation?

Harry hasn't spoken to Peter in years. Or any of his cousins apart from Eugenie and possibly Beatrice.

He really needs to grow up. He constantly sounds like a whiny teenager. He must be exhausting to live with.

I wouldn’t invite cousins to a wedding either who have form for:

Trying to upstage the bride
Making it all about them
Whingeing for weeks beforehand about securidee
Going on about guns
Fantasising about killing my uncle
Bringing a film crew
Being weird with other people
Getting drunk and hitting people
Doing drugs
Speaking out of turn to the media about other people’s sensitive personal information
Lying for money

They’d not be on any guest list I came up with.

PinkHairbrushClub · Today 07:55

His lack of invite couldn't possibly be because the happy couple would like all their guests to be able to relax and socialise without fear that any tiny comment will feed the news cycles for the next few months. Harry really has brought this on himself!

That's entitlement, though, isn't it? Never making an effort with others, but expecting them to always facilitate you.

Yep, it’s Harry’s ‘my presence is your present’ attitude.

I think it'll be interesting to see what happens - they can't continue (well, maybe they can! Maybe they'll try!) just grifting and lying and suing anyone whose opinion they don't like. What are the options?

A) They realise they've played it very, very wrong for 6 years. They realise it's not working, based on opinion polls and advice from seasoned PR experts. They apologise publicly and privately to the RF and the British public. They admit they got it wrong. They live nice low key lives, only post themselves on social media (not their children) and they stay in Montecito, have a nice pint and wait for it all to blow over. Everyone lives happily ever after. Highly unlikely, based on their form.

B) They carry on doing what they're doing: faux royal tours, merching sick kids, speaking to tiny audiences on roundabouts, suing the British press and His Majesty's government, moaning and whining and complaining. They carry on being cold shouldered by anyone who's anyone: The Clooneys, the Obamas and most of Hollywood. They never realise it's not working and so we carry on these threads ad infinitum because there's still so much to discuss, because they are completely delulu, as the kids say.

C) Charles dies, William ascends the throne and either does nothing, carries on grey rocking and living his best life (most likely I think, it's worked well so far) or he goes nuclear, takes their titles, takes legal action to enforce the Sandringham agreement and sues them for defamation every time they lie about him or his family. He won't but I think we'd all buy popcorn and watch and enjoy!

I'm not sure what other options they have. I would have thought a return to the RF is highly unlikely - they've made themselves so unpopular with the British public, the press, the palace and their families that there would be a lot of resistance to this. We, the public, pay for the RF and I for one, don't want to give a penny to those two.

They should be ashamed of themselves but sadly, I don't think they are.

MyDogClive · Today 08:21

Although I’m quite sure the bride and groom are more than capable of deciding their own guest list, there is a part of me imagining being a fly on the wall as someone breaks it to Princess Anne that H&M are coming.

Who wouldn't want to invite someone who will talk to the press whilst distorting the narrative and centre himself. I can't see Peter Philips as someone who is easy to bully but of course it can't be anything to do with Harry's actions because that would mean taking responsibility.

Oh H continues to defame KC and QC, he may well go nuclear and I don't blame him. His latest bullying accusation is quite incendiary. A bullying King is not a good look. H&M are not clever people. It's inevitable they will go too far

Harry’s hurty feelz are telling him, it would appear. We now know via a ‘source’ that the great man is wounded, oh dear.

Harry is really a Larkin child on steroids. All the faults of Diana and Charles, with some added extras.

William, I don’t know. I do see evidence of some sort of self control, which is better than nothing. And emotional intelligence.

I wish Peter would say "nope, nothing to do with William, WE just didn't want you or your wife there because we don't like you, we don't trust you and you can FTFO and WYGTYCFOSM mate." Sadly, it won't happen.

I think we see the multiplier effect here. William made a very good choice of life partner, and a lot follows from that. Harry made a disastrous choice of life partner, and ditto.

IceBrownie · Today 08:58

“Harry expected to at least get an invite,”

At least? Was that the absolute minimum required?

What else did he expect?

Some sort of self control? Quite a lot, I would suggest, bearing in mind what his own brother has said and written about him!

A huge amount. It's to be admired but H will go too far and that will prompt a nuclear response

ShamedBySiri · Today 09:25

I think William is sitting on a LOT of information, and when he becomes King he might have ways and means of reining them in that we don't know about, although I'd love to see him strip them of their titles (and it would be a kindness to A&L for them to lose theirs too). For instance there is the Buckingham Palace bullying review that has never seen the light of day.
I was also thinking about the clip of Meghan rooting through the boot of Williams car at polo, which was circulating on X again recently. So many questions about that. What was she looking for? What did the guys who accosted her say to her and what was her excuse? Why didn't they shut the boot to stop her doing it again? Why did she keep going back - THREE times? Who filmed it and how did it get into the public domain (they obviously waited in the same spot and kept filming)? Presumably William was told all about it by his guys, and possibly the person who filmed it if they weren't a random member of the public or some other person unconnected to William (which I doubt)?

In fact I'm not sure it wasn't purposely set up by William who presumably already knew about her habit of poking around where she shouldn't.

He will have plenty on the two of them.

Fair point. I suspect H likes to irritate people.
