Does anyone else feel really uncomfortable about the photos the RF have put out of Charlotte today? Likewise the photo of them all lying in the sand. I feel those photos should be personal . She’s only 11, on holiday and those moments should be private.

Would you ask any child you didn’t know for a hug, whether a non famous child, a celeb, or Royal? I would hope not. Would you let your child hug someone they didn’t know, even if they were a celeb or Royal. I would hope not.

Parents don’t really let their children take photos with strangers or hug strangers. It’s basic parenting. It’s not appropriate because there are unfortunately some weird people around. I don’t know why anyone would try to justify it but hopefully it is something that doesn’t happen again this year at Xmas. The people asking, especially for hugs, are overstepping and very weird.

PPs: not really - they are very select, there’s a good reason for it, keeping the children hidden would be wrong

😆 Make sure you have a really good look. Homing in on areas of interest and expanding them helps a lot. So much easier than the magnifying glass people used to have to use before digitisation.
