But it's ok for the King to host a banquet with Trump? And to possibly be going to visit with him after his behaviour??? I'd say if M and H are staring into the 'arsehole of bad taste', the King is right up his colon!

Do you understand the role of the Head of State?
Do you understand the difference between a government mandated diplomatic meeting and making money from disaster tourism?

Janiie · 17/04/2026 09:44

I hope the Aus media is all over the merch thing. How can anyone make money after visiting victims of a terrorist attack?!

Unfortunately, it's a money making/fame trip, and that trip to Bondi is part of it, no matter how offensive the merching.

Anger? I am laughing at the sideshow, that's all. H is such a wally.

Does anyone else love Mark Dolan's impression of "the world's least happy millionaire" or is that just me?

My2cents1975 · 17/04/2026 09:47

NewPR is failing. I miss Meredith...at least she was good for a laugh!

I don't think he is a wally. I think he's a young guy who fell in love and removed his family from a really toxic place. He lost his mother when he was 12. I really don't get why he's so hated. Because he was disloyal to that family? Who says he has to be loyal to those parasites? It doesn't make sense. I will never understand the defence of them. Not saying you are specifically doing that but isn't it better he starts his own life away from them?

Harry is not a "young guy". He's middle aged.
He left the RF so that he and his wife could make money.
We've certainly seen that in Australia, haven't we? No opportunity missed, it would seem.

It's been explained enough times, not just in respect of this visit, but in comparisons between official visits undertaken by W & C and the grabby and grubby excursions of these two.

SixSevenShutUp · 17/04/2026 09:53

Young guy? Listen, I am nearly 60 and I see a middle aged man. How old are you to see him as a kid?

He has made a career out of attacking his family because he was told no to his various demands.

He is like a tabloid reporter with all his nasty reveals.

Lots of people have troubled childhoods and suffer bereavement, it doesn't give anyone permission to be an entitlement arsehole for the rest of their lives.

I think what is clear is that supporters of H&M really don't understand what a Constitutional Monarchy is, nor the role of the Head of State. On another thread, someone claimed that KC was "omnipotent"!
That's the level of ignorance we're up against.

Fantastic for him to do that , but drop your titles, stop whining and complaining and going on about your victimhood . Stop doing fake tours or paid for talks about your Terribly Hard Life and My Dead Mother . Prevent your appalling wife from trading on the title given by the family she despises and stop pretending to be philanthropists. Also don’t write books dissing your family or give ‘interviews’ about them. In short, grow up, shut up, and stop allowing your wife to run the show using you as a puppet.

Also, stop the court cases that cost the tax payer a fortune to get round the clock security from the tax payers when you don’t live in the country and despise the whole system anyway.

So Harry and Meghan are living a modest, low key life while those around are starving?
No, they're not.
If you don't understand the role of the Constitutional Monarchy, I'll attach something with a basic explanation.

He is from the RF. They are all entitled assholes, his father being the prime example!

I will not refer to that woman as any sort of queen. You speak of entitlement? Look no further than Camilla Parker Bowles.

For you, @TigerIsHome .
There's quite a lot here, but it does explain about the role of the monarch and the role of government.

Harry uses that, doesn't he? Complaining that KC was "an older Dad", when he was older himself when A and L were born.

Thanks, I understand but it doesn't make it right. I find it unreal that the government have more power than someone who is a 'king'.

You don't have to call her Queen, ' the thing' would seem a bit unpleasant. We often hear this type of terminology from the #BeKind H&M fans though.
