Prince Harry and Meghan’s huge Aussie plans revealed. Visit to Sydney and Melbourne in Mid-April.

EXCLUSIVE

More than seven years after then-newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan embarked on their hugely successful Aussie tour, the couple is reportedly heading back Down Under.

A source confirmed exclusively to news.com.au that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to visit Sydney and Melbourne in mid-April.

While their last trip to our shores was in an official capacity as working members of the royal family, this time around they’re travelling as private citizens – and it’s understood they’ll be focusing on activities related to their businesses and philanthropic work.

Details of their specific plans remain unclear, but it’s been rumoured that Meghan will appear as a guest on the Her Best Life podcast, which was initially launched and co-hosted by Jackie “O” Henderson and Gemma O’Neill through their “Besties” company. Earlier this year, just a couple of weeks before her high-profile and abrupt recent exit from her KIIS breakfast show, Henderson revealed that she had decided to “step away” from the venture.

It’s rumoured that Meghan will also appear as a special guest at an upcoming “Besties” event, following in the footsteps of previous VIP speaker Gwyneth Paltrow.

The actress took part in a wide-ranging Q&A with Henderson back in 2023 which attracted around 3,000 ticketholders to the ICC in Sydney’s Darling Harbour – so Meghan’s appearance could be in a similar capacity.
Despite Henderson’s recent departure from the Besties company, she hinted last month that she may return in some capacity in the future - and perhaps Meghan’s involvement could be one such occasion.

Gwyneth Paltrow was the special guest at a Besties event, run by Henderson (left) and Gemma O'Neill, back in 2023 – and Meghan is now rumoured to follow in her footsteps. Picture: Supplied
While details of the couple’s itinerary are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks, it’s likely that Harry’s plans will involve Australia’s armed forces or veterans’ community, given his strong connections to both.

It’s understood he also has a number of friends locally, fostered across multiple previous visits, including during his month-long stay with the ADF at an army barracks in Darwin back in 2015.
And in his 2023 memoir, Harry gushed over his time living in Australia as a 19-year-old in 2003.
He wrote in Spare that working as a jackaroo on a farm in rural Queensland had helped him find inner peace during what were “some of the best” weeks of his life.

It’s not yet known whether the Sussexes’ children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, will join them on the trip next month or stay back at the family’s home in Montecito, California.

News.com.au understands that the royal couple’s Aussie visit has been in the works for almost a year.

I hope Meghan takes a pot of her jam to whip up some of these for the crowds!

Gwynedd managed it

Who is Gwynedd not heard of her and what did she invent that noone else has?

myrtleWilson · 11/03/2026 21:38

Goodness, @GoldBthehypo you're calling another poster out about spelling - have a word with yourself and alter egos

Is it a spelling mistake? I wouldnt know its a person's name after all and not an obvious typo mistake if you did spell a name wrong... I know people often talk about Goop but again there is nothijg new there its products that have already been invented but just styled, branded differently or has slightly different ingredients I mean face cream isnt new is it, so copy a face cream bung in different ingredients or % of it and sell it ...plenty of companies doing that.

Vagina candles.

Gwyneth Paltrow

Soz, went with the Welsh version of her name.

Edited to correct "dd" to heathenish " th".

Thedom · 12/03/2026 05:00

Gwyneth’s own company was doing these pop up wellness events 10 years ago, She even ran a Wellness cruise.

Don’t forget Meghan is a trailblazer is the whodunnit wickless candle business, will you receive a wick or won’t you, you only find out when you open the package.

I make jam but I have to admit that Highgrove strawberry jam is …..elevated .

I’m impressed you understood that!
I was wondering when exactly the RAF got involved in jam making! 🤷‍♀️

The Duchy Originals brand was started in about 1991 (from memory).
I think Prince Charles wanted to show how there was a market for organic produce, it used stuff grains at Highgrove and it raised funds for The Princes Trust.
It started off with biscuits and then spread into other products including actual jam. It’s massive now.
I suppose his USP was a)Stuff grown at Royal home
b) Organic in some way can be for everyone.
I am going to have an explore and see how much it has raised for The Princes (now Kings) Trust.

Mylovelygreendress · 12/03/2026 09:34

Whoever referred to M as Fergie 2 is on to something as the DM is referring to her as “ basically Fergie” ouch .
Wonder if the event is sold out yet ??

corblimeyguvnr · 12/03/2026 10:09

I'm sure MM will hate that comparison!

I’m well aware that the RF have been making Jam with the duchy originals for charity, however unless I’ve been mistaken all these years the RAF ( Royal Air Force) have never been involved in jam production!

ThePerfectWeekender · 12/03/2026 10:22

I reckon 99% of places have been snapped up by journalists and YouTubers. I can't believe there's an appetite for this from the general public.
MM has no idea she is being pimped out by Marcus (Soho House) yet again and will view it as a huge success because the tickets have sold, without much of a thought of who to and why.

corblimeyguvnr · 12/03/2026 10:25

I bet she's planning her wardrobe now.

Not actual jam production, @jeffgoldblum, but i couldn't resist looking that up and it seems they do a rather nice jam pot ... who knew?? Grin

It must be hard for the fans, who used Sarah Ferguson as the benchmark for how bad it could be, to now see where Meghan has landed, asking for very extravagant hand outs from someone who is being accused of sexual crimes, asking for invites to events, imvoicing for meet & greet 😜, it goes on and on…..

It really is the Yorks part deux, I am sure there is more to be exposed about the modus operandi of the Sussex’s and their endeavors.

The worldwide privacy tour continues. Bad luck, Australia.

I'm sure it is, @Thedom - especially those who blasted on about the Spotify/Netflix deals "proving" what a success they were - which may explain why most have gone very quiet

IME though, and as with the entire family, it's worth remembering that apart from what they say and the few details which seep into public view, all we have is the image they try to convey ... and some are more skilled at producing that image than others

That will be brilliant though for her - all of the audience each with their own huge MSM and SM reach - more free publicity (not sure how she is able to harness the publicity to create a revenue stream though at the moment if As Ever isn’t shipping globally).

Genius marketing strategy. I wonder how many journos and influencers have been invited by Jackie O?

Agree could be a set up - Aussie presenter gets huge global exposure. She won’t even need to set up any contentious Qs tho because MM will inadvertently wade in with some authentic cods-wallop for the world to ridicule if you give her enough airtime and don’t get in her way.

Oh thanks @Puzzledandpissedoff! , tiptree products are delicious particularly their jam , chilli chutney and ketchup!
and I’m tempted to get that for dh as he was in the RAF .😁

Let’s not forget that for years Sarah was used as THE excuse for why , writing books, giving interviews and using titles in the US was perfectly acceptable and criticism of the Sussex’s for doing the same was unfair!

I was just coming on to say exactly the same thing! Sarah has always been used as a useful idiot for the superfans, it won’t wash now though particularly when you list all the dodgy characters Meghan and Harry have accepted financial or material help from. The similarities between Meghan and Sarah are startling and for the main stream media to run an article saying the same is telling. H&M are only 6?? years in, goodness knows where they will end up given 30 plus years, hopefully William will see the Sussex family are on the same trajectory as the Yorks and will remove the royal titles seeing as Charles won’t.

I agree! , Meghans close friendship with Marcus Anderson and ties to Soho house may well be her undoing if she doesn’t distance herself.

Australia is welcome to the grifting whingers. Everything they do is a self-serving, ego-boosting, vacant, publicity-seeking stunt. She just wants her photo on a few more front pages… as ever.

Agree with you there, YourWinter, but just in case anyone might have read your comment as dismissive of the Aussies, I just wanted to point out that Oz is a fabulous place many of us love... and the Aussies - as has been stated on another thread - are not usually lovers of the wishy-washy verbosity that tends to gush forth whenever M has a mic in her steely grip.

So, if they are welcome to them, they may not in fact be welcoming to them, nor even deserving of them.

Or then again, I could be wrong! For some of them, this might be very exciting news indeed. It does, after all, take all sorts!
