More than seven years after then-newlyweds Prince Harry and Meghan embarked on their hugely successful Aussie tour, the couple is reportedly heading back Down Under.

A source confirmed exclusively to news.com.au that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are planning to visit Sydney and Melbourne in mid-April.

While their last trip to our shores was in an official capacity as working members of the royal family, this time around they’re travelling as private citizens – and it’s understood they’ll be focusing on activities related to their businesses and philanthropic work.

Details of their specific plans remain unclear, but it’s been rumoured that Meghan will appear as a guest on the Her Best Life podcast, which was initially launched and co-hosted by Jackie “O” Henderson and Gemma O’Neill through their “Besties” company. Earlier this year, just a couple of weeks before her high-profile and abrupt recent exit from her KIIS breakfast show, Henderson revealed that she had decided to “step away” from the venture.

It’s rumoured that Meghan will also appear as a special guest at an upcoming “Besties” event, following in the footsteps of previous VIP speaker Gwyneth Paltrow.

The actress took part in a wide-ranging Q&A with Henderson back in 2023 which attracted around 3,000 ticketholders to the ICC in Sydney’s Darling Harbour – so Meghan’s appearance could be in a similar capacity.
Despite Henderson’s recent departure from the Besties company, she hinted last month that she may return in some capacity in the future - and perhaps Meghan’s involvement could be one such occasion.

While details of the couple’s itinerary are expected to be confirmed in the coming weeks, it’s likely that Harry’s plans will involve Australia’s armed forces or veterans’ community, given his strong connections to both.

It’s understood he also has a number of friends locally, fostered across multiple previous visits, including during his month-long stay with the ADF at an army barracks in Darwin back in 2015.
And in his 2023 memoir, Harry gushed over his time living in Australia as a 19-year-old in 2003.
He wrote in Spare that working as a jackaroo on a farm in rural Queensland had helped him find inner peace during what were “some of the best” weeks of his life.

It’s not yet known whether the Sussexes’ children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, will join them on the trip next month or stay back at the family’s home in Montecito, California.

News.com.au understands that the royal couple’s Aussie visit has been in the works for almost a year.

It must have been a shock to have been not only cut off financially but also access to the family for more gossip . They probably thought they would have an endless supply of anecdotes but now anything will be at least 6 years out of date .
Let’s be honest their Netflix and Spotify deals were based on access to Royal gossip .

There used to be an odd dance around the Sarah Ferguson issue with previous posters who were supportive of pretty much any Sussex enterprises.

Why was Kyle and Jackie O’s schtick of crudity, sexism and misogyny so popular? A look at the show’s demographics suggests some insights.

The live radio show’s audience was skewed to the 18–39 age bracket but also contained a substantial teenage following.

It also had a large podcast following, and this audience skewed male, although it also contained a substantial female component, and did very well in North America as well as Australia.

Together, these data suggest it answered some need, particularly among younger men, for a means of vicariously unleashing their frustrations, including their frustrations concerning women, as well as indulging a taste for scatological humour.

It contributed to the normalisation of tolerance for extreme sexist content on Australian radio, particularly in Sydney.

In 2009, the show was taken off air after the authority found it breached broadcasting guidelines by attaching a teenage girl to a lie detector and asking her if she had been raped.

Last October, ARN was threatened with action if it did not rein in their “vulgar, sexually explicit and deeply offensive” commentary.

In 2025 alone, the show was found to have violated the commercial radio code of practice 12 times. These included two episodes of a guessing game involving recordings of staff members urinating, during which the hosts made graphic remarks about genitals, menstruation and oral sex.

Wow, this is the kind of ‘entertainer’ Meghan is joining forces with for a paying gig, seems to be really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

But isn’t Meghan a vocal advocate for women’s rights, gender equity and empowerment? 😬

Actually I suppose it works quite well alongside Meghan the bully speaking out against bullying, Meghan the child protection campaigner working with Balenciaga and Meghan talking about family values having cut off all her in-laws and all but one of her own family.

Me too. The pantomime just writes itself. Here for the giggles - never ceases to amaze me how they set themselves up for daily ridicule with their grandiose and delusional nonsense. But in parallel it’s quite delicious watching two arrogant and entitled fools who have intentionally and maliciously hurt so many people in their path fail so spectacularly and publicly.

The difference with Sarah Ferguson is that she is not a member of the royal family. Everything changed for her when she was divorced.

Not really, there are far more threads slating harry (who hasn't actually done anything wrong) than there ever have been about Andrew, and there have been zero threads about Charles's support for his favourite uncle the paedophile Lord Mountbatten and zero threads about Charles's close friendship with Jimmy Saville.

You would think they would be distancing from Soho House with its Epstein tattle.

Assume everyone knows that Saville was Charles's relationship counsellor? it was widely reported at the time. Also assume everyone knows that Lord Mountbatten was Charles's Godfather and that they were very close - and now we know Lord Mountbatten was a paedophile. But hey - everyone wants to slate Harry who hasn't actually committed any crimes.

Meghan is much more than that. I don’t think Fergie managed a 100m partnership with one of the leading companies in the world. And then bravely and independently took her business global! I wish I could afford a ticket to learn from all the learnings she will be sharing with the tables near the stage. I wonder if questions will be permitted?

Hey, we know H&M have very close ties with someone who has been accused of being a sexual predator, asking him for handouts and giving him the honour of being their child’s godfather.

They are the latest generation of those who prefer to look the other way, although you would think Meghan being older and having been hustling in the entertainment industry for years would be a bit more savvvy.

If you care that much about it go and start some threads of your own about Andrew or the RF. You may think Harry has behaved perfectly well but many others would disagree.

It has been reported they earned far less than 100 million from the Netflix deal.
