Eugenie has cut contact with Andrew

It’s being reported that Eugenie has cut all contact with her father, she refused to visit him at Xmas and isn’t speaking to him at all. There was a discussion on Good Morning Britain about whether this was to protect her own image or whether it’s about her own feelings around what Andrew has done and his refusal to apologise.

Beatrice is still in contact with him apparently, so will this cause an issue between them as sisters?

Is Eugenie just doing this to protect her own image or has the penny dropped that Andrew is a disgusting man and she now believes him to be guilty?

What do you think?

It's clearly damage to her image limitation.

If it were because of her feelings, she'd have done it a long time ago!

Wisperley · 22/01/2026 14:20

Is this in the same manner that her mother cut contact with Epstein for the public, but then privately emailed him to say he was a 'supreme friend'?

OMG that was awful ☹️

PolyVagalNerve · 22/01/2026 14:59

Exactly -
like PP have said -
cutting contact has a whole different meaning to the York family -
who knows what the truth is ??
I don’t believe anything from them - all the yorks,

I agree.
I think the pair of them knew what their parents were like and as long as they could live the high life they did.
But things have changed. Their father is persona non grata.
They need the link to Charles and William.

Is she keeping contact with her mother, you know the woman who said she would never refer to her wonderful very rich and generous friend as a paedophile even after he had been convicted over sex offences committed on girls who were more or less the same age as her daughters. Andrew is a disgusting man but Sarah Ferguson is a selfish greedy woman who doesn’t care who gets hurt as long as she has money in her pocket.

Zippedydodah · 22/01/2026 19:05

Perhaps Eugenie’s husband has said something to convince her to go NC with him!

I highly doubt that Beatrice and Eugenie would have known back then what their father was doing

Well, I knew, so why wouldn't they?

QE2 expressed 'concern' at his friendship with Epstein, and it wasn't hard to find out that he was doing dodgy deals as Trade Envoy. It was even brought up in Parliament once.
He was their father, of course they knew

CathyorClaire · 22/01/2026 20:07

This story has been doing the rounds a few days now and I still don't believe it.
I posted previously that I think MW is still far wealthier than we'll ever be allowed to find out and if there's anything we do know about his shameless daughters it's that they follow the money.

I think the most likely thing is that both are attempting to ride two horses at the same time while looking out for their own skins.

Euge's anti slavery collective is a joke. In 2023 it was 98 days late filing accounts while in 2024 she spent an eye watering £280k of the £1m raised on a gala night knees-up and stashed the rest as a carry forward figure.

If she really wanted to rehabilitate her image she could have started months ago with ending her 'employment' at the art gallery charged with breaching UK sanctions against Russia and quitting glad-handing Daddy's contacts round the Middle East along with actually spending the 'charity' reserves as donors intended.

This thread exemplifies the worst sort of ‘commentary’, and the absolute hubris of people who are so sure how they would behave in a situation that they are lucky enough never to have been in. Andrew’s daughters are not responsible for his crimes, and they are not obliged to publicly debase themselves to a level arbitrarily decided as acceptable by the public at large.

simpsonthecat · 22/01/2026 20:29

Well said CathyorClaire

I think, what a PP said, Eugenie is hacked off with the negative publicity so has intimated she is cutting off contact with Daddy.

And both daughters will be totally desperate to keep the royal connection, and they will do literally anything to keep that.
They want the pap walks at Christmas, to sit in Royal carriages on the racecourse at Ascot, doing the odd garden party with William. They love it all and won't give it up.

Maybe they should have thought of that when a LOT of money was landing in their accounts. Maybe they should think about less visits to Saudi, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Bahrain, all the places their Father was doing deals in.

All I know is... they could keep a low profile, they choose not to. I am not sure how a low profile is 'publicly debasing themselves'.
It's common sense to me.

If he were my father I would be totally ashamed and I would be keeping myself out the public eye as much as possible.

This is all just another bloody smoke and mirrors tactic. The RF want us to be arguing both sides and speculating because it stops us turning a critical eye on the whole rotten lot of them and wondering why the fuck we still have an unelected family that get richer and richer each year because they all dropped out the ‘right’ vagina.

Pontificate away as much as you like but you simply don't know the life circumstances of those commentating and whether or not they are 'lucky enough' never to know how they might behave.

I very rarely comment on my personal experiences but this time I do know how I'd behave and have done.

Don't worry.

Some of us are capable of keeping beady eyes on the lot of 'em 👀

Tigger18 · 22/01/2026 21:58

Both princesses are mothers now themselves. They may well be horrified at the thought of the people their own father bought them into contact with when they were kids. Andrew invited Epstein to one of their birthday parties. It must be awful to know your own father knowingly put you in the vicinity of people he knew were capable of terrible things.

simpsonthecat · 22/01/2026 22:27

True and they holidayed as a family with another paedophile, his name escapes me but he was imprisoned
There's pictures of Andrew Sarah and the daughters when they were younger at his villa

Warmlight1 · 22/01/2026 23:29

You can have a father who did horrible things and he is still your only father.
They aren't responsible for what he did and don't have to prove their righteousness. The whole thing is about not making young women responsible for old blokes. That's them too. And a delayed acceptance is a completely natural response.

Or perhaps there's more dirt in the pipeline and Eugenie is jumping ship before it hits the fan.

A Quick Google seems to indicate there was a gala night in 2023 which raised a million and doesn't mention a gala night she organised in 2024- do you have a link on this?

The gala night was in November 2023 and the cost is reflected in the 2024 accounts.

The 2025 accounts have been filed and show a very substantial drop in income in comparison to 2024 but an eye watering rise in salary costs which when combined with overheads appears to account for around 2/3 of the expenditure.

The accounts can be found here:

https://register-of-charities.charitycommission.gov.uk/en/charity-search/-/charity-details/5167794/accounts-and-annual-returns

It's entirely disingenuous for Euge to be shielding herself with her charity 'work'.

Quite.

I'm sure it's entirely coincidental that this initiative while founded in 2017 seems to have lain fairly dormant until 2023 when the Epstein revelations were hotting up.

Virginia and other young girls and women weren’t prostitutes, they were trafficked, vulnerable girls and women. I hate that they’re referred to as prostitutes.

I hope Eugenie is seeing her father for what he is and realises he’s guilty, but I fear this is just to look better.

I don’t know how they could want contact with him and have him around their children.

Edited

in Asia while he was working as a business ambassador it was prostitutes, supplied in their dozens per visit.

There’s not really evidence he did anything with the trafficked girls in the US so I don’t judge him for that
