Another new story on Andrew today. Photo's have emerged showing that on Epstein's desk, there were emails regarding Epstein paying debts owed by Andrew/Sarah to staff:

Why on Earth was a Prince of England having his staff paid by a sex trafficker?
Doesn't seem "too honourable" to me.

Epstein Had Emails from Staff of Ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson on His Desk in Newly Shared Photos

New photos from Jeffrey Epstein's New York home appear to show an email exchange between former staffers for ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

I travel a lot too and Americans just love love love talking about the royal family. Any of them. So I am surprised you don't share talk about them. They always want the royal gossip and meeting lots of new people, it's one of the first subjects they bring up! Some of them love the royal family more than anyone I know so I always preface any chat with them with a warning "just so you know I am not a royalist!"
They are curious and quite a few have had their eyes opened somewhat and I am always interested in what the novelty is for them.

When did that start?

I used to visit major cities in the States briefly, maybe a dozen times a year for > 30 years and unlike football soccer and even cricket (I kid you not..) I can't recall the royals ever coming up in conversation.

Must be a recent change or the company I kept..

simpsonthecat · 02/02/2026 08:20

Always. Americans have always been obsessed with our royals. I am talking in a chatty holiday environment, not work

What on Earth am I seeing here? 👀👀👀

There is a LOT of speculation on X about this photo .

So he can look down on people.
Maybe.

Also I always wonder who his ‘companions’ are. Who would want to be seen with him? They often seem to be much younger women . Just who are these people?

I think they are grooms.

Well I'm not surprised and it's not all about the tighty whities 😳

Agreed.

They also rolled over for the royals when they agreed to grant a perpetuity edit to the Palace in respect of E2's funeral and C3's coronation meaning the Palace can dictate certain sequences never be shown again.

Nauseating behaviour from our national broadcasting service.

Is that why the footage of the Queen lying in state and a lot of the pomp before and afterwards was so short lived on iPlayer and never shown again?

I wondered why that was! They can keep things up on iPlayer for ages so I surprised it was all removed so fast. I was even going to waste expensive stamps writing to them to ask about it.

Why the hell does the Palace want to stop it being shown anyway? It's the nations to keep no? How odd to expect taxpayer's to pay for a huge funeral and yet demand certain sequences never be shown again?

Indeed there is. Andrew may be the most public one as yet although Gates and others are feeling the heat . More to come . More names.

simpsonthecat · 02/02/2026 11:27

I am wondering if William's hire of a 'Crisis Management expert' was because of what was going to come out in the Epstein files. And bear in mind, all has not been released yet.
I don't think we've seen the end of this. I think the Palace are still protecting Andrew and themselves and the british media are complicit given a lot of the commenting sections of the press is turned off

Foxypuppy · 02/02/2026 11:38

What is more shocking its that Andrew was impliyed in the death of a girl. What else they are hiding?

Sandringham murder: Alisa Dmitrijeva investigation 'exhausted'

Officers investigating the murder of a Latvian teenager found dead in Norfolk in 2012 say the case is being passed to a coroner.

This is so murky, and it’s worsening. Old Queen Liz would have questions to answer as to how much she knew, and precisely what that payout was for. It’s a shame she’s dead.

But many of those involved are still alive and justice can still be obtained for the victims and their families if the political will is there. Here’s hoping.

I mean they can murder and abuse anyone and nothing would happen to them (until now). Andrew was entittled this way because it was normalized by his circle and family. He was above the law and saw the 'peasants' as playthings not worth respect. This is quite sad. And we people were taught to celebrate it. Had you ever thought of the horrour and helplessness of the victims while the people came to steeet to celebrante those criminals with flags and dances. And dont tell me the Queen didnt know. He was her favorite son, we should wonder why. Disgusting

OccasionalHope · 02/02/2026 12:06

I think that's pushing it a bit.

Not with Epstein as far as we know. Apparently the king of Denmark has also appeared in the files but it was to do with meeting a friend of Epstein's at a dinner. There isn't any evidence that he actually met Epstein himself. And Sofia of Sweden allegedly met him a few times though again, no indication of any wrongdoing on her part.

Andrew and Mette-Marit appear to be the royals who had the most prolonged and personal contact with him.

I suspect a lot if the BBC footage was removed because it has been tainted by the main commentator being Hew Edwards.

simpsonthecat · 02/02/2026 13:46

The Palace asked for a veto and removal immediately after the funeral so I really don't think so.

Agree.

David Dimbleby was even asked about it in an interview about his recent programme on the royals. Ironically he hadn't realised the BBC was doing the same thing there - no footage of Huw Edwards in the montage of the announcement of the Queen's death, despite us all remembering him as the one reporting it.

I don't see how. It sounds like, as with lots of showbiz stuff, girls were hired ( seemingly the same young women who were hired to do the 'dolly bird' role on game shows) to party with celebs. I bet, as with all those 20 year olds that hang about on Leo Di Caprio's yachts now, they are looking for an 'in' into the modelling/acting profession and are hired by publicists to do a job. It was a very sexist and demeaning set up for the young women, no doubt, but the blame is on the game, not the player.

There have been rumours about MM being involved with this sort of thing for years.
