The royal family

I blame Maggie.

ItsDarkNow · 27/12/2025 12:30

She hosted a tea party in the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh.
Do a search for that hotel and read about what the Saudi rulers did to 100s of people there in November 2018.
And then ask yourself why Beatrice is involving herself in a regime like that.

Zippedydodah · 27/12/2025 12:31

AI:
Princess Beatrice, alongside her sister Princess Eugenie, has made several significant visits to the Middle East, particularly Saudi Arabia and Qatar, attending high-profile events like the Future Investment Initiative in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi's Adipec energy conference, and Qatar's art scene, positioning themselves as unofficial ambassadors for the UK while exploring business and cultural ties in technology, art, and finance, often amidst speculation about links to her father's finances.
Key Visits & Events:

  • Saudi Arabia: Attended the "Davos in the Desert" (Future Investment Initiative) in Riyadh, hosted a royal tea party for dignitaries, and met with CEOs at Adipec, showing interest in AI and tech.
  • Abu Dhabi (UAE): Participated in the Adipec energy conference, engaging with global energy leaders and discussing technology's role in collaboration.
  • Qatar: Accompanied Eugenie to art events, including the M7 art center and a Chaumet exhibition, deepening cultural connections.
  • Bahrain: Attended the F1 Grand Prix with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, sister Eugenie, and cousins Peter and Zara Tindall in April 2025.
Themes & Context:
  • Unofficial Ambassadors: The sisters are seen as increasingly important figures, offering a modern, accessible face for the monarchy in the region, especially with senior royals visiting less.
  • Business & Technology: Beatrice, as Vice President of tech firm Afiniti, focused on AI and tech collaborations, while Eugenie engaged with Qatar's art sector.
  • Financial Speculation: Their frequent trips and high-profile associations have raised questions about potential financial links and benefits, particularly concerning her father, Prince Andrew, and funding for his lifestyle.
In essence, Beatrice's Middle East visits are a blend of promoting UK interests in tech and culture, expanding business connections, and navigating complex financial and political landscapes, as reported by sources like The Times, Jang, and NewsNation.

I can't get my head around a man abusing girls the same ages as his daughters.
Or Willam and Kate, looking at Charlotte, not being utterly repulsed by what Andrew did and insisting he is arrested.

I don't think William and Kate have the power to insist that Andrew is arrested. If they had, what would the charge be against Andrew, based on evidence? Can you tell us what the wording would be? I don't think the police force or the CPS would take up a case if they didn't think there was enough evidence to convict someone. I know some posters declare that the words 'inappropriate person' are obviously meaning whatever, but they aren't obviously anything at all and not enough for the police to arrest, yet. We will see what comes out in the next few weeks.

I saw this online too and some woman saying that Charlotte is just like or will be like Princess Anne. And Kate said to another ‘i
see you everywhere’. These people are mentally unwell. Isn’t that enough of a reason to keep the kids from them.

It's dreadful that total strangers are putting a personality on Charlotte when they don't know her and she's a little girl.

I can't imagine what William and Catherine think about the people who are dedicated followers.

I agree, their children absolutely should not be subject to pawing by strangers.

I agree. I find it quite revolting. Some absolute loon hugging and cuddling Charlotte.

Imagine if someone wrote on here, this woman reached out and hugged my daughter and I didn't know who she was.

Imagine telling your children aged 7-12 that complete strangers adore them, want to touch them, have photos with them, and give them lots of presents.

And then allowing it to happen!

It’s crazy. They can’t help that there are weirdos out there, but they can choose how they respond to them. I’m very shocked that W & K are allowing much of this to happen, I did think they would be responsible parents, but apparently not.

They thought they had more fawning subjects who believe everything they and their apologists say than they have.

Can you blame them when their groupies come from all over the world to watch them walk up a path to a church?!

I only saw a clip of it, but a woman was shouting to Charlotte, can I have a selfie, and Charlotte said, yes of course.

She's ten ffs. I wonder how this woman would like it if her own child at ten was expected to pander to people shouting at them and wanting selfies.

I admire the celebrities who keep their children well out of the limelight. But of course, the RF can't do that, the heir to the heir and his siblings have to be paraded to satisfy followers.

It's gross what some royalists want from children.

I agree, I find that Sandringham walk about so uncomfortable to watch with those crazy super fans pawing at the children. I’m surprised they allow it.

I agree. They are showing themselves to be really bad parents on this issue.

William has talked about his protecting his children from harm online, but then in real life lets complete strangers hug his children. I think it’s inappropriate for the children to be greeting the crowds when so many of those in the crowd don’t seem to have any boundaries. There are videos all over TikTok of people saying weird things to the children, stroking Charlottes hair, telling her she’s pretty, asking for hugs and the children hugging them, trying to engage them in conversations that they really shouldn’t be. Any decent parent wouldn’t allow this to happen and I feel sorry for the children being paraded and expected to perform like this.

Reddog1 · 27/12/2025 15:38

The people who go to watch them walk to Church are on the whole harmless fruitcakes who William and K probably find a bit weird, but not worrying. Each to their own, if that’s how these people want to spend their Christmas Day it’s their choice.

However, it only takes one sinister type to infiltrate the group. I’m surprised at how close they were allowed to get to the family, in particular the children.

You can’t get complacent about that and think they’re just harmless fruitcakes when their children’s safety is at risk. How long before Charlotte is hugged/touched inappropriately by a pervert? It’s terrible parenting and I’m genuinely shocked that William and Kate are allowing it. They must be desperate for public support to offer up their children like this.

TeideHeart · 27/12/2025 16:55

It's quite bizarre that a couple who very carefully curate photographs of their children, and who are part of a family who have an unofficial agreement with the press to leave the young people alone when they go to school and university, are happy with their own young children talking to strangers and allowing the touching and selfies to happen.

Not only that but there was that "cute" incident with Louis and the huge Lindt (?) chocolate thing. What happens when they're back in private? Is he allowed to keep it? Does it become not his, something to share? To give away? How confusing for a seven year old.

And the biggie.....what happened to not accepting sweets from people we don't know?!

The closeness of people to the children on that walkabout was startling.

He was allowed to be very rude over that. if my 7 year old had grabbed a massive chocolate. I would have made him say 'Thank you' at the very least. And whats it teaching them? Tat people are there to just shower them with gifts despite them wanting for nothing? Then their big brother gets taken to a homeless shelter?

ThePoshUns · 27/12/2025 18:05

I can’t imagine that they are allowed to keep the sweets anyway, too much of a risk.

I think foodstuffs must get binned. Too much of a risk. If they eat any of it, they must be bonkers. And if they don't, they can't pass on potentially suspect food. What a waste!!!

Although it wouldn't really surprise me if they didn't think there was any risk at all from these "wellwishers".

Starting on July 1st 2025 can anyone say exactly which days they were in the Middle East and why

No. I just know they have made frequent trips to the ME. Multiple trips from Oct 2024 to date. Qatar, Saudi, Abu Dhabi. So much so, they were being referred to as 'ambassadors' for some reason.

Why July?

Yes, that was strange. Why didn’t William say ‘what do you say Louis.’ to remind him of his manners. But the person was clearly a weirdo, Louis got a huge Lindt thing and then gave 2 small chocolate bars and said that were for George. 😂 Where do they find these people. Nutters. They have a ‘favourite royal child’ who gets the biggest chocolate….😅 They’re insane.

I agree. OK they want the kids to show their face, maybe its training for the future or whatever, but they should be allowed to walk in the centre of the path between the two rows of people, not being touched or hugged, maybe a wave here or there and that's it.

It's the most bizarre thing to allow young kids to have weird fans taking selfies with them or hugging and cuddling them.

ThePoshUns · 27/12/2025 20:48

Yes @simpsonthecat just let them all walk past and wave.

It had been happening for the last few years though, with people turning up and behaving inappropriately. They should say gifts will not be taken. These people are using gifts to lure children they dont know towards them. They need to be strongly discouraged and the only people who can do that is the RF by telling people not to bring gifts because they will not be taken, or that any gifts will be taken by staff and given straight to charity.

Only that 1st July until now is a 6 month period, nothing more complicated. If posters say that they're 'always in the ME' I wonder just how many days that means in, say, a 6 month period of time, compared to how much time they've spent in other places.

So have you read about the imprisonment and torture of Saudi citizens in the Ritz Carlton in Riyadh 7 years ago?
Do you wonder how much money Beatrice was paid by the Saudis to front up the tea party there?
