Kate and William can’t insist that he is arrested!

I can't get my head around a man abusing girls the same ages as his daughters.
Or Willam and Kate, looking at Charlotte, not being utterly repulsed by what Andrew did and insisting he is arrested.

I am pretty sure that W and C keep their DC well away from AMW . They themselves are never seen with him apart from the odd official occasion when they tend to talk with the Edinburghs and Tindalls .
Posters say that W “ drives A around” yet apart from one occasion when he drove him to church ( apparently having been told to by KC ) no one has ever shown evidence.
How exactly do W and C insist A is arrested ?

There's an interesting PR podcast called 'When it hits the fan'. They talk about all kinds of PR stories in the news, and often cover royal ones.

One point they often make is that the timeline for royalty is very different to celebrity - decades rather than months.

Which is why they hide behind c the ' never explain, never complain' lie. They complain constantly through leaks to the press but feel they never have to explain their behaviour because they hope it will blow over. They only address things when they are forced to if something risks the long term future of the Monarchy. It has taken many statements, most defending Andrew and only one showing any regard for Epsteins victims to get to this point. They thought they had more fawning subjects who believe everything they and their apologists say than they have.

Can you link an article from the RF defending AMW please ?

Can you blame them when their groupies come from all over the world to watch them walk up a path to a church?!

I only saw a clip of it, but a woman was shouting to Charlotte, can I have a selfie, and Charlotte said, yes of course.

She's ten ffs. I wonder how this woman would like it if her own child at ten was expected to pander to people shouting at them and wanting selfies.

I admire the celebrities who keep their children well out of the limelight. But of course, the RF can't do that, the heir to the heir and his siblings have to be paraded to satisfy followers.

It's gross what some royalists want from children.

Plus every time since. Allowing Andrew to put out his self serving statement saying he wasn't gong to use his titles because of, again, how honourable he was, no mention of the victims yet again. Only after that statement caused uproar did The King react.

Prince Andrew sex claims denied for second time by Palace spokesman

Spokesman denies Duke of York had ‘any form of sexual contact’ with woman involved in Jeffrey Epstein lawsuit

That article is 11 years old ! I assume at that time it was issued on instruction from AMW .
I agree that action should have been taken earlier but I disagree that
“It has taken many statements, most defending Andrew and only one showing any regard for Epsteins victims to get to this point. “

RainbowBagels · 27/12/2025 10:15

You asked when they defended Andrew. They have spent well over 11 years defending and protecting him. He was cavorting all over various palaces with sex offenders and young girls in 2002 and probably before and after yet they categorically denied wrongdoing in 2015. The fact that the article is 11 years old proves my point. They defended him explicitly and implicitly over and over again. Then just this year allowed him to put out his own statement. If Andrew is allowed to just rock up and issue his own statements without any of the legion of staff asking The King for approval then the whole Palace operation needs to be looked at. They need a far slicker, more professional outfit rather than 800 staff who dont know what they are doing.

Which previousxstatements, made by anyone in the RF, or AMW's interview showed any sympathy for the victims? Without explicit prompting?

Mylovelygreendress · 27/12/2025 10:33

I don’t disagree that it was handled badly and I place a lot of the blame firmly on the late Queen.

ItsDarkNow · 27/12/2025 10:38

Charles is also to blame. And William would have been aware too. The rot starts at the top of the tree.

sittingonabeach · 27/12/2025 10:48

What do people think of the families of all the other men involved with Epstein, they are not denouncing their husbands, brothers, sons etc

There doesn't need to be an article. It's optics. Which the royal family are pretty hopeless at, at the best of times
It is what they rely on and they really are pretty bad at it

I agree. I find it quite revolting. Some absolute loon hugging and cuddling Charlotte.

Imagine if someone wrote on here, this woman reached out and hugged my daughter and I didn't know who she was.

None
Apart from Andrew when pushed after the Maitlis interview. That was only when he realized what a car crash it was.

and of course the recent Charles and Camilla statement when booting Andrew out
It's taken long enough hasn't it?

And also apparently A donating a large sum to a sex trafficking charity which no one knows where that has gone

I saw this online too and some woman saying that Charlotte is just like or will be like Princess Anne. And Kate said to another ‘i
see you everywhere’. These people are mentally unwell. Isn’t that enough of a reason to keep the kids from them.

I feel not a jot of sympathy for any of the Royals, especially bloody Beatrice and Eugenie having to slum it in the Alps for Christmas to escape mama and papa.

I feel for the victims in this situation, of which there seem to be many.

What should they do then? Rent a two bed terrace and flagellate themselves?

C3 has had three years to take decisive action and hasn't.

In that time MW has been allowed to take centre stage for the TV cameras on royal occasions, been driven by the heir on two occasions (one with K relegated to the back seat), included in royal shooting parties and pre- coronation family dinners as if nothing untoward was going on and allowed to guffaw uproariously at a recent funeral.

E2 was certainly guilty of enabling and condoning MW but C3's dithering has been very much apparent.

By telling everything they know? By not allowing what he has done to be covered up anymore.
Do you think it’s a coincidence they removed his title. They knew what’s in them before the public did. There is far more to come out. We have seen clips of them speaking to Andrew.
What we see the rf do is only what they want us to see. We see a tiny percentage of their lives. They have zero respect for the public. They do what they do to protect themselves only.

OccasionalHope · 27/12/2025 11:17

While the preponderance of the overall evidence is indeed awful and largely credible, I do think we need to be a bit cautious about accepting every single statement in the released files as actual proven fact, especially the most lurid ones. These are statements made, not investigations. Remember the whole Carl Birch debacle?

Obviously not.

Maybe be a bit low key for a while? Not hard to do. They married rich husbands, they are not strapped for cash. They can move at ease around the world.

If it were me, I would be mortified what my parents had been up to, and I would keep myself and my family private as much as possible.

They were at Sandringham yesterday and I believe the reporter said they'd been invited by the king. I can't see how they couldn't have been. I didn't see much of them in the reports later, but when I saw Beatrice and Eugenie they were just walking along and weren't flaunting themselves around in any way or rushing to talk to members of the public. If anyone else saw footage of them doing anything except behaving quite quietly please tell me where to find it in Google/Youtube.
I agree with you, Simpson, that keeping their heads down might be a good move, now.

So what’s the issue with them being in The Alps? If the press are following them, it’s their pervy father’s fault, and they’d likely follow them anywhere.

Someone on a thread, most likely this one, said that Beatrice and Eugenie are 'always in the Middle East'. Starting on July 1st 2025 can anyone say exactly which days they were in the Middle East and why. No, not speculation or nastiness or rubbishy exaggeration, but truth. As far as I know Beatrice hosted some sort of a tea party one day, possibly for half a day, but I don't know when it was and where it comes into the calendar of happenings on the York family front this year. I think I remember a poster saying the tea party had been arranged a while before.
