Why does Harry need to announce his visit to Canada ?

Harry has announced he will visit Canada for Invictus events .
The announcement is made while the POW is in Brazil undertaking important official business including representing KC at COP.
His spokesperson says the announcement had to be made at short notice for security reasons !
If this non working royal has security concerns , why announce it at all ?

Not really, Charles, Ann, Edward, William and their children don’t appear to have those traits, I can’t imagine any of them whining how hard done by they are even Andrew hasn’t done that.

Harry was on stage for an event in NY a few months ago. He was asked what he missed about the UK, and he couldn't name a thing.

Well, no, Harry, some of us are British without those things - and without criticising our family and country publicly.

Appear is the relevant word. I’m sure they all have those traits. They probably disguise them better or don’t have them in such abundance, but I have no doubt they are all very entitled and arrogant .

The thing I like about William's Earthshot is that it's about celebrating and supporting solutions for environmental problems, it's not 'preachy' and I don't like it when royals or celebrities are preachy because it's usually along the lines of 'do as I say, not as I do'.

Harry's essay is just too preachy, telling us what Britishness is, how we should shake hands with random veterans we pass on the streets, lecturing us about kindness. Nobody who has read Spare could possibly take him seriously on the subject of kindness.

Remembrance and patriotism do mean something to me but I really don't need or want Harry's leadership on this or any other subject.

It's becoming increasingly clear that Harry has got some regrets about his decisions almost 6 years ago now(!) and he'd probably get more sympathy if he admitted it and apologised. I think he owes an apology to his family for the nastiness and to the UK for effectively denigrating us on a global stage (he painted a picture of us as racist simpletons believing everything the media told us).

What the working royals get is completely irrelevant because he isn’t one. It’s mind boggling to me that he still seems to think he is, nearly six years after his last royal engagement

It's even more mindbogglingg to me, @NormaMajors1992coat, that with so very many opportunities they've managed to throw the entire lot away

It doubtless explains why Harry's so desperate for reconciliation that he'll suggest he's "another" working royal, but all the same it's a rare skill to have been able to destroy so much

I also like the fact that several of the reels on the PPoW's Instagram are other people speaking directly to camera about their own interventions - a young woman supporting children in Rio, a 60 yr old indigenous woman planting mangroves.
