Meghan has just popped a video clip of herself in the back of a limo with her feet up travelling through the streets of Paris. Is this rather insensitive given the way her MIL died or is it perfectly normal to post such stuff?

There is a difference between perfect hair…and hair that has had a brush through it.

Personal care and hygiene for children is important and the responsibility of the parent.

Lili’s hair is far too long for it to be left hanging down unbrushed and unstyled. If the child prefers to wear her hair down, then at a minimum, she needs the length taken off it so it doesn’t form rats tails.

It’s why many little girls have bobbed hair . If not, then their hair is tied up if there’s any length to it.

This is basic stuff. Very basic stuff.

But go on….come up with some excuse of why it’s good to neglect a child’s hair.

My hair, when I was a child, was never cut, it was down to my bum, I wasn't neglected nor was my hair neglected and there were days it might of looked a bit messy when I had it down and loose and I didnt want to have it tied up, plaited etc. Even if my hair was in plaits it would still get messy playing about.

Some parents wont cut their kids hair for religious purposes. If a child says i dont want my hair up and pulls out any bobbles are you going to force them to tie it up neatly? Will you call those parents neglectful cos they and their kids are following their religious beliefs?

You have seen a tiny snapshot of that child's day, you cant possibly know if her hair is being neglected other than what you seen and your personal view that it should be trimmed or kept neatly blah blah blah. And if you so concerned about neglected why haven't you reported it to the right auhtorities? You conveniently ignore that when I ask you

AtIusvue · 29/10/2025 12:59

The whole point of why they put their kids on SM is because they want engagement and comments. Clearly, they would want them all to be positive. But that’s not reality. A parent that doesn’t want comments on how their kids are raised, doesn’t put them and their activities on SM.

I doubt you had half your hair length in rats tails.

if Harry and Meghan wanted to run Highgrove as a book retreat / clay pigeon shooting space then as it’s Charles no/one would object if they paid a semi commercial rent.

Actually, Highgrove is part of the Duchy of Cornwall so belongs to William.

And no way could the favoured residence of the King be used for commercial purposes open to the public!

I applaud them for not turning the kids into full time props, but they’re effectively being used as click bait as many people are just trying to watch to screen shot a face to see who they resemble most.

I don't think anyone deserves 'applause' for not overtly merching their children.

But if we want to look at it in strictly business terms, the problem is that Meghan's 'brand' is supposedly about friends and family. If that is to have any hope of success, she needs to essentially invite the public into her family life. Back of head shots with a crap soundtrack are boring, soulless and won't maintain much interest. So quite aside from the fact that lifestyle brands are veyr last decade, I don't see 'As Ever' going on to have much success. The branding is incoherent, the products are bland and she's not offering anything that can't be got from the supermarket for a fraction of the price.

It’s a poor choice by M is her brand is about friends and family. It’s clear friendships are transactional to her and she only speaks to one member of her family. Not forgetting her dh has cut off ties with most of his family and dropped a lot of his friends since marrying her.

AtIusvue · 29/10/2025 13:11

Agreed.

Stacey Solomon who is estimated to be worth £9 million now- has her full family life on show, her home and their activities. That’s why she’s successful. She understands for people to buy into it, they need to see it. We see the good, the bad and the ugly. Same too with the Kardashian.

Meg is only ever willing to give a tiny peek, of an artificial picture perfect life. It doesn’t look real. Thats why people pick up on a lot of the behaviours of the kids/Harry in the videos - because she’s always the actress on show, she’s never giving us anything real. It’s all placed, stiff, performative with an everlasting smile.

Yes, and the whole point of the ‘oops, we accidentally showed our children’s faces’ was to troll and drive engagement and interest just before a new batch of her products were dropped. I wouldn’t be in the least bit surprised if they themselves were the ones to highlight the kids faces were on view if you looked at the video frame by frame !

No need to make assumptions about my life you dont know me.

Again why dont you report them for neglecting their child as you say they are and you clearly feel strongly that they are...?

I agree. The warm cozy 'down home' image goes against everything we've seen from Meghan. A very odd choice for a brand. And very 2009.

Sorry? Do you then want me to make the assumption that because you had long hair, you did have rats tails???!! Ffs

Honestly. Learn how to make a valid point, think it through and then post. You quite regularly make zero sense in your comments.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 29/10/2025 10:30

That Poster had to caveat that, if she hadn’t you would have been the first to jump on her and say what is she implying? It’s laughable to suggest that you would have been perfectly happy for someone to say Archie looks like Andrew, you have just homed in on that post, twisted it completely to suit your narrative and to detract from the subject being discussed about the hypocrisy of Meghan and Harry using their children to promote their “brand”. I think your “repulsive” comment was a really sly way to try and make out posters were saying things they did not, without any evidence (because there wasn’t any) to back it up.

Thank you and that is EXACTLY why I said it ! It is perfectly normal in my world to comment on family resemblance. Eg one of my sons is the image of my brother. Why on Earth would you not comment on similarities 🤷‍♀️ och she's her Granny's double. 😂

ozarina · 29/10/2025 13:36

CurlewKate · 29/10/2025 09:32

Saying a child resembles the uncle is certainly a perfectly normal thing to do. Going on to say “but that doesn't mean I think he’s the father” is not a normal thing to do.

Gosh you are digging deep aren't you? 🙄 you know exactly why I said that because if I hadn't your next diggy post would have been " what are you suggesting? " 😂

Mylovelygreendress · 29/10/2025 13:37

I have flicked through several photos M had posted of A and L and not once have I seen Lili’s hair being anything other than unkempt . That is NOT a criticism of the child but rather her parents / nanny .

ozarina · 29/10/2025 13:40

CurlewKate · 29/10/2025 11:12

Just think about how that comment would go down in the real world. It is clearly not a normal thing to say when commenting on a family resemblance.
About the children appearing on SM- I don’t know what H&M have said about posting images of their children. If they have said that they’re not going to do it, or that other people shouldn’t do it then they are obviously being hypocritical by doing it themselves and should be called out on it. Does that make it OK for posters on a parenting website to tear those images of small children to shreds?

Wait ... you don't know what H and M have said about posting images of their children on SM but you are here spouting about it ? You can't be serious?

So this is unkempt hair? If yes what makes it unkempt...looking pretty fine to me, not messy or unkempt

Meghan’s new insta feed
AtIusvue · 29/10/2025 14:17

Lili has fine hair, she doesn’t have thick hair. Further to the ends, hair will get finer, they will be longer hairs/shorter hairs and breakages. This means it’s prone, once it gets to a certain length, to clump naturally into rats tails. That’s exactly what they are- rats tails.

In order for the hair not to end up like this, the hair needs to be cut, to thicken the ends so they are uniform in thickness and in length. If not, then the hair needs to be tied up.

Thanks for posting the picture to remind us.

It’s very bizarre to complain repeatedly on this thread about posters commenting on the presentation Lily and then actually post a picture of said child and ask posters to comment.

I posted it to someone who said everything she has seen shows unkempt hair so im asking her if this is because it doesnt look unkempt to me. So yes id like to know why she feels that is classed as unkempt...you know just so I can see why perfectly okay looking hair is classed as unkempt...cos bloody hell of that is unkempt then wow

Im not asking everyone to comment just that one poster

Imaging twisting yourself into knots (pun intended) in the bizarre goal of trying to prove that the hair isnt unkempt…by posting a picture of hair….. with rats tails.

George Orwell said it best:

"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command."

It doesn’t matter that you only intended it for one poster, that’s not how it works, you can’t control who responds to your post and picture. As I said previously it is utterly bizarre to post a picture of Lily asking a poster to comment whilst throughout this thread this is exactly what you have been complaining about.
