Meghan has just popped a video clip of herself in the back of a limo with her feet up travelling through the streets of Paris. Is this rather insensitive given the way her MIL died or is it perfectly normal to post such stuff?

She didnt drive past the spot though did she, she is on a bridge half a mile away. So no meghan didnt post a video of her driving past the spot her m died either. So💁‍♀️

Within half a mile of where her famous mother-in-law died. Yet she’s never posted videos of herself in cars back in her own country 💁🏼‍♀️

ExitPursuedByABare · 05/10/2025 17:24

Bit surprised she did this.

Tone deaf.

IAmATorturedPoet · 05/10/2025 17:25

At this rate, it almost feels like she’s trolling Harry, not the ‘haters’ 🤷🏼‍♀️

I thought the same when I saw her choice of photo she posted to her instagram wishing her husband a happy birthday 🦊

lampshadez · 05/10/2025 17:26

It’s a deliberate ploy to get media attention in my view. She’ll do anything, anything.

She doesn't need to do anything, the loonies who criticise her for breathing will be paying attention to everything she does so they can criticise.

Keep tying yourself in circles to defend her

Are you the "journo" who's created a story on the daily mail? It's absolutely pathetic

It’s how easy clickbait tabloid stories work now - it had absolutely blown up on Twitter so the Mail grabbed onto it to make some money.

They do the same with all celebrities and royals etc.

I believe Meghan crafted this story herself by posting it on social media, fully aware of the implications of driving at night in that part of Paris. She should know better, it’s literally all her husband ever harps on about.

Keep tying yourself in circles to criticise her 🤣

I've never heard such a ridiculous criticism, it honestly shows up the people who dislike her so much
But it does give me a laugh!

I’m sure her husband loves seeing seeing evidence of her driving around Paris near where his mother died, especially after that ‘near death’ car chase in New York 🤣🤭

MrsLeonFarrell · 05/10/2025 17:44

To be fair to Meghan, she is in Paris for Fashion Week. It's just teaser clips and I doubt it even occurred to her that it may be taken wrong on social media.

Look - I’m not usually a commentator on Meghan’s celebrity life - I’m much more interested in the royals from a constitutional/governance side of things but this IG thing was such an blunder it took me by surprise.

She was either oblivious / careless to the significance of where she was and the optics of what she posted - which isn’t a great look for someone who has gone on and on about her attention to detail.

Or it’s a deliberate attempt to link in Diana again and create a bit of controversy which gets everyone talking and going to her IG to check that the clip is real.

Tubestrike · 05/10/2025 17:50

She is very aware that Harry is traumatised by the death of his mother, she is very aware of how and where his mother died. She's either very calculating or just thoughtless..

EmpressSisi · 05/10/2025 17:50

MrsLeonFarrell · 05/10/2025 17:44

That might be the case, but it’s incredibly tone-deaf to her poor husband, and that’s really the main issue here. Does her need for social media validation really outweigh his clear trauma from his mother’s death? It’s similar to how he says the clicks and flashes of photographers trigger him. I’m sure seeing his wife driving around at night in the very place (within half a mile?) where his mother died is just as upsetting. You can even see it reflected in the claims about the car chase through New York.

I can’t tell if she’s genuinely oblivious and possibly neurodiverse, or if she’s deliberately trolling Harry. Without any official diagnosis being disclosed, I’m leaning toward the latter.

jumpingthehighjump · 05/10/2025 17:53

So nice to see a Harry fan on here who is so concerned about his welfare
Very refreshing. It rarely happens

This might blow your mind but why not let Harry decide how he feels? I'm sure he is grateful for your concern though.

💯💯💯

Actually I do think that is pretty insensitive.

I'm actually quite shocked by it. Diana dying in a car, at night in Paris isn't something someone married to her child should overlook as they film themselves driving around in a car, at night in Paris.

I'm not sure if she simply doesn't think about anything other than her own immediate wants or if she's done it for a reaction. Both of which are pretty poor.

Whether careless or contrived, it has certainly had the desired effect of plenty of publicity.

Yes but not all publicity is good publicity and that's something that Meghan really doesn't seem to understand.

MrsLizzieDarcy · 05/10/2025 18:11

Her attending PFW is odd at best, but now someone has mentioned filming I do now wonder if she's filming something for Netflix and the Diana documentary that's apparently in the pipeline.

I personally don't think Harry needs to go further down the road of his mother's death he's clearly very damaged as it is. But I'm sure Meghan has his best interests at heart as his wife... Hmm

Erm no! I am not a journo or a fan of either Meghan and Harry or the royal family. It was a genuine question one of which has blown up on social media. I do take on board the criticism that I was over thinking as I can do this sometimes (now wondering if I could earn more cash as a journo 🤣)

Again, why are you reading about him, watching him etc if you dislike him? What is the point?
