Meghan has just popped a video clip of herself in the back of a limo with her feet up travelling through the streets of Paris. Is this rather insensitive given the way her MIL died or is it perfectly normal to post such stuff?

Am sure there was a picture of A&L together playing with a game that Serena W had given them

There isn’t one pic or video, out of all that she’s posted or released over the years that shows those kids interacting. Not one.

Why on earth would any mother purposely photograph her children separately and ignore the pics of the kids having a good time? That makes no sense.

It’s because they don’t interact. Why? I’m not sure. But it’s the reason why the family pics never seem quite right. It’s because there’s no childlike play, fun happening. The interactions are either controlled by adults or they are off playing solo.

If you look at any family album, you don’t have just seperate pics of the children. They are always together.

Cue the next post will be the children interacting once she gets wind of the rumblings - same as Doria - Qs asked because she’s not been seen in public for 18months - and then she’s wheeled out to bolster the concocted wholesome family brand (same as the Beckham’s). I haven’t seen the clips - any chance Doria’s appearance was filmed 18 months ago?

Archie wasn’t in the pic. It was Meg, Lili and Serena

Mylovelygreendress · 27/10/2025 13:10

No one else around so assume they got the place closed down for their visit ?

ConverseAddict · 27/10/2025 14:04

I came on to see if there was a thread, what a sad little video. What is the point of these. No one seems particularly engaged, is this meant to be aspirational.
I think she regrets the whole not showing the children’s faces thing as these videos are ridiculous. She clearly wants to use them for SM

Because it’s rare. And for both children to inherit a rare gene strikes me as unusual. I have red hair, not as dark as Archie and none of my 4 have it, although the boys get it in their beards. My niece has it so does her daughter.
Just unusual I think for both to have it.
Im not suggesting fake pregnancies and all that guff.

Yes it's also a recessive gene.

ThePoshUns · 27/10/2025 19:14

Didn’t Thomas also have red hair when ?

StartupRepair · 27/10/2025 19:36

It just looks like a very bleak little outing. Sort of more like real life where adults or children might be grumpy and you end up behind a petrol station instead of in beautiful fields.
Maybe Meghan is now going for gritty realism.

Letmeoutodhere · 27/10/2025 20:06

Lillie often seems to be running in these videos, often way from the camera. It’s all so bizarre

My2cents1975 · 27/10/2025 20:41

I had not seen the video, but it was mentioned on another thread so out of curiosity I had a look.

Marcus again...wasn't he in Paris with M? And at some purchased award? And now here...strange.

As for the Shell gas (petrol) station sign...dear oh dear...it is giving Herz car rental sign vibes. Just...wow.

So many influencers have such as slick social media presentation on a microscopic fraction of the massive budget that produced this massive fail.

AtIusvue · 27/10/2025 21:09

I suspect she didn’t have the star power to exclusively close off one of the fancier pumpkin farms, so took this one with the petrol sign vistas.

As if other little kids are a danger to her family’s safety, that this was the only option.

My2cents1975 · 27/10/2025 21:48

It just looks downmarket considering M's target market for her lifestyle brand.

I just don't understand why the look is so amateur given H&M's football team of PR staff. Genuinely? There is the "amateur" that is like the "no-makeup" look... a highly polished and filtered version of "amateur".

But this hot mess is just...as the kids now say...skibidi toilet!

TheCraicDealer · 27/10/2025 23:37

It all looks very dreary doesn’t it. If a video ever needed a filter on it it was this one- it looks so overcast and dismal, both parents wearing coats and the kids running about dressed as if it’s a summer’s day. Combined with the otherwise empty pumpkin patch and pumpkin carving with no kid input, just all very performative and depressing. This is a pretty kid centred activity and so for the only two people outside the nuclear family included to be other adults, it just makes it even more weird and sad.

I don’t really put much store by the lack of interaction between the kids though. I’ve thought for a long time that whoever does the camera work for Meghan’s social media is crap. Couple that with fast moving objects (kids) whose faces you’re not allowed to show, I can see why there are so few videos of both kids doing something together. It’s just too hard a brief for someone with obviously quite limited skills.

People applaud Harry and Meghan for not showing their kids faces but they publicise plenty of what are supposed to be intimate family moments. Lots of faux sympathy for the Wales kids doing the odd photocall or event, but their parents have never shared photos of them in the bath, blowing out first birthday candles, at a family day out at a theme park, hanging out at home or any of the other snapshots the Sussex’s have released. That’s before the little tidbits that both of them give away in nearly every interview about the kids’ looks, behaviour, supposed witticisms or wisdom. Their Home and family life should be these kids’ sanctuary and yet it’s being treated more and more like a set.

ozarina · 28/10/2025 00:25

And as for the Shell garage sign beside it , it just smacks of " convenient" .

Sorry didn't see you had mentioned it too! Says it all doesn't it ?

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 28/10/2025 06:49

The petrol station is very jarring, considering the aesthetic she is trying to create. What next? Picking apricots under a motorway flyover?

For someone with an alleged obsessive eye for detail, it's a bit shit, really.

MrsLeonFarrell · 28/10/2025 07:20

Stacey Solomon has a nice pumpkin patch video up on her feed. It seems easier to film if you can show faces. She also has a couple of a million more followers than Meghan and posts a lot more. I think Meghan's feed has stalled a bit because she is not a consistent poster.

Why wouod she think anyone would be interested anyway? They just aren’t interesting.

I think this is her Instagram problem. Looking at feeds that are popular, they post consistently and about everything. Meghan's feed is a few back of head family shots and advertising herself and her own products, but only around launch day. That doesn't build up the algorithm enough to get a wider audience and it is boring.

Stacey Solomon has a really consistent, solid brand though, with good messaging. And she's working with an experienced production and SM team. It shows - that's why you can buy her stuff in Asda.

Meghan hasn't yet settled on an overall message for her brand. I know she says it's "masstige", but that jars with Balenciaga and Private jets.

I just don't think the As ever products were the correct lane for her - beauty and fashion would have been a much better fit

EDT to say - and the infrequent and often unrelated posting style doesn't help.

I agree. The As Ever products didn't seem related to anything we knew of Meghan before. Clothes and makeup and especially a perfume, would i think be far more consistent and successful. No one believes Meghan used massteige products, she is expensive all the way. Plus, and i may be only one here, i find the whole concept of massteige incredibly patronising.

Harry’s pumpkin carving is entry level. Artistic prowess in one’s carvings is like a competitive sport where I live.

His A level art teacher was not available, I understand.

Blurry images of the kids on the DM taken from the video, that will drive more interest in her Insta post, I’m sure she knew that would happen. Lili is so like Thomas Markle, even in the blurry image.
