Yet more damaging revelations for the Yorks. How did the Daily Mail manage to get hold of the email I wonder?

A lot of decent people turned a blind eye.

Lifestooshort71 · 21/09/2025 16:32

When my children were young they attended a young musicians' charitable day in a London theatre where Rolf Harris was the star brought in to raise money for the charity. He mixed with these 9/11-year olds backstage, they sat on sofas and sang songs with him and passed drinks round. When we collected them we thought - gosh, what a wonderful day they've had and, golly gosh, what an amazingly friendly bloke Rolf Harris was to them all.....

I can't blame KC3 for not seeing through Saville.

This ⬆️. It's easy to blame people after the event.

I think I'm right in saying that Sarah Ferguson's phone number appears more times than anyone else in Epsteins phone book

Why isn't she under formal investigation?

justasking111 · 21/09/2025 17:13

The Spanish royal family exiled their king putting his son forward. That's worked well. Time for Charles to act or allow William to.

FancyBiscuitsLevel · 21/09/2025 17:13

The King increasingly appears to just want a quiet life without dealing with any unpleasantness. Fine, he’s in his 70s, unwell and having to ramp up his work at an age where normal people are cutting back - but that does kick things down the road a bit for William.

I do hope William and Catherine learn from all this and George is the only “working Royal” of his generation. The work load can be reduced. We would get used to less charity events and visits to things.

It’s actually pretty handy that Harry has removed himself.

😂😂
Juan Carlos didn't want to! Or are you suggesting similar financial impropriety on the part of Charles?!

I'm sure Juan Carlos didn't want to go, neither will Andrew. Tough. Sometimes family members are beyond the pale though. Maybe the Saudis will want him, he'd tolerate the heat after all he doesn't sweat 🙄

stillavid · 21/09/2025 17:36

The late Queen should have dealt with Andrew and Harry more effectively. Seems like Charles is not really going to do anything either so will all be on William.

I reckon he is spending a lot of time at the moment planning how things are going to change when he is King but quite hard to have that conversation with his father.

I thought you meant that Charles should go, as JC did!
My misunderstanding.

You don't know what Charles is doing. Or plans to do. All conjecture.

I’ve heard that PA & SF are actually ‘together ‘ - a couple. Unofficially I guess. Is that fact or rumour?

JSMill · 21/09/2025 18:04

LizzieSiddal · 21/09/2025 10:01

They are both vile nasty people who should fuck off quietly.

Did you see them pushing themselves to the front of the steps at Duchess of Kent’s Funeral? If they had an ounce of shame they’d have hid themselves at the back, they are not normal people.

Yes. Disgusting behaviour. I understand the D of K had lived to a ripe old age so it wasn’t a tragic loss but who on earth stands laughing and smiling on church steps after a funeral? There is something wrong with them. I really think they should be completely cut off from the RF. I think KCIII is too soft though.

Futurehappiness · 21/09/2025 18:04

padronpepper · 21/09/2025 14:43

There were also his friendships with disgraced bishop Peter Ball and Laurens Van der Post, one of Prince William’s godfathers.

Edited

Not to mention KC's beloved 'Uncle Dickie'. And he maintained his lengthy friendship with Peter Ball 20 years after his caution for sex offences.

He claimed that he was ignorant of PB's offences but apparently never thought to enquire into the truth of the matter, and not only maintained the friendship but used his position and influence to benefit him. Imagine how you would feel if you were one of that man's victims and saw your future Head of State supporting him.

KC claimed afterwards that he had been 'deceived'; despite the fact that this is a family in which his grandchildren's school friends are vetted before they can visit them. It is an awful lot of paedophile perverts to have in one's close circle. For anyone else in a public role it would be career-ending; but because it is the RF there are no consequences.

And how long did it take them. Not saying that it should take long for Charl but just saying Spain are not exactly exemplary. Its only the threat of him being in a court of law due to corruption that tipped it. You think William will act? I hope so. He seems vindictive to me sometimes

padso · 21/09/2025 18:10

It's unbelievable really, she is so greedy that she can ignore abuse.

Well her father and mother didn't set a good example. I think I read on here recently some scandal concerning her mother. Her father was mired in a scandal years ago.

William seems very Victorian in his outlook. I wouldn't like to cross him. Not that I've done anything nefarious 🤣

I can't think of any other reason tbh . Why would you live with your ex if you weren't back together.
My theory is that Andrew was told to divorce her because of the scandals, she's blackmailing him so she has money and somewhere to live.

Why isn't she under formal investigation?

What would they investigate her for? She has appalling judgement, but it's not clear that she has done anything against the law, and she doesn't seem to have a job.

I think she has said that she only apologised to Epstein because he was threatening her, which implies blackmail, but is that grounds for a formal and public investigation? I assume the security services are investigating all of this, but I wouldn't expect any of their findings to be made public for decades.

Just when I thought Fergie couldn’t be any more reprehensible.

Princess Margaret was so right when she wrote to her and stated, ‘You have done more to bring shame on this family than could ever have been imagined.’

Charles needs to properly cut off both her and Andrew. Neither of their faces should be seen at any public events regarding the RF.

I confess - I never liked Fergie (never liked Andrew, but way back, everyone was supposed to warm to Fergie, she was a breath of fresh air etc etc).

But she somehow thinks she still has that ditsy, gallumphing Sloane, fun, party girl image which we ( are supposed to have) loved. She grins and does that girlish, frantic waving which she imagines we find endearing.

She IS absolutely shameless. When you think of the decades-long catalogue of her misdemeanours…ugh. She’s incapable of remorse or self-reflection - only regret that she’s been found out and fear that her revenue stream will dry up.

Put her in a tumbrel and off to the guillotine…and I’m not sure that’s even a joke.
