Yet more damaging revelations for the Yorks. How did the Daily Mail manage to get hold of the email I wonder?

I just read a celebrity blind on X that there are letters from a royal wife showing that she was like GM and procuring women for her husband, sometimes joining in…..

CathyorClaire · 15/10/2025 09:47

Well if such letters exist the royal wife must be either extremely foolish or extremely brazen to have risked committing her actions to a preservable medium.

Now who might that fit??

Why is he still a Knight of the Garter??

Why is he still a Knight of the Garter??

Because removing the "highest order of chivalry" might upset him and other things could follow from that, padronpepper?

padronpepper · 15/10/2025 17:27

It beggars belief really @Puzzledandpissedoff
The edifice surrounding the RF is an utter sham.

Lalgarh · 15/10/2025 17:34

There is currently a majority of ppl who support Andrew having his royal titles removed.

However it would take the intervention of parliament. There is a precedent, based on removing titles from aristocrats in ww1.

However the Royal family are shit scared that it could then be used against them

Prince Andrew and King Charles, dressed in black mourning clothes, at the funeral of the Duchess of Kent

What can the King do about Prince Andrew scandals?

What sanctions could King Charles apply to Prince Andrew after the latest claims about links to Epstein?

I think it's highly likely both 'sides' hold considerable dirt on the other and neither will blink first.

Yes I think thats why they wont remove titles from 'Blood' Royals like Andrew and Harry. Because they believed they are born Princes and somehow inherently special. Once you start saying some is just an ordinary person once you take the title away they are all a mistake away from being 'commoners'.

I mean jesus dont these people have enough without grubbing around in the dirt for more money for themselves? They literally have their every need and want provided for yet possibly Andrew has dirt on them that is worse than the disgrace he has brought on himself ( that we know about)

jumpingthehighjump · 16/10/2025 08:13

I feel we have reached a bit of a crossroads with Andrew. I honestly honestly think we should not see his face again. And certainly not his ridiculous ex-wife.

Before anyone says, of course he should 100% go to family funerals, church services, commemorations, memorials.
But he should be already seated at the side or come in through another door. I don't think the British public will stomach seeing his and Sarah's grinning faces around the Royals again

The problem is that stories about the Royals generate clicks.

The Times often have multiple 'won't they just go away' stories about Harry and Meghan, even when they aren't doing anything.

Couldn’t agree more. Odious pair.

Garters suit him.

No one apparently knows how Andrew has the money to maintain Royal Lodge & lifestyle.

The daughters are spending a lot of time in the Middle East....

Good article by Marina Hyde.

"you get the royal family you didn't vote for"

Although I don't think she is quite right - the RF quite patently can ostracise members for political or PR reasons. If you can get rid of a King (Edward VIII), I don't see why you can't get rid of a brother who has dropped down the line of succession. It doesn't have to make sense as long as the rest of the family up their game.

I feel for them a bit if they're having to do this to subsidise their parents.

I don't. They don't have to live in a 100 acre Royal Estate with 30 rooms, a chapel and multiple cottages. Other residences have been offered. They are all in it together I would imagine. Andrew is desperate to pass on the lease to the daughters.
