Yet more damaging revelations for the Yorks. How did the Daily Mail manage to get hold of the email I wonder?

They probably didnt consider their ' Royal Blood' daughters as even the same species as the girls Epstein and his mates had hanging round.

Almost certainly. I did raise an eyebrow at the photo of Epstein and Gislaine in fancy dress at Beatrice's birthday party and stood next to a certain Harvey Weinstein. I mean why were they there? Can't imagine that Beatrice invited them, although I may be wrong. Either way how unlucky the Yorks are that 3 of the lovely people they chose to befriend turned out to be sex offenders. If only there had been any rumours or solid convictions to give them a hint of their true selves.

I hadn't heard that, Middlemarch123, but how encouraging

That said I don't know what the movie's angle is, but if it's flattering (as the name suggests) I can quite see why it would be best kept away from

Her name is Natalie Dormer, she was in Game of Thrones. It’s not a film, it’s a TV series, my mistake. Due to air on ITV soon. If you google her you’ll be able to read the news stories. She’s also donated all her money from the series to charities.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 27/09/2025 19:44

Many thanks, @Middlemarch123; I've just looked it up and see it's actually about Sarah's former dresser rather than Sarah herself - though obviously she'll come into it

I still think Natalie Dormer's done the right thing though, and donating her salary for it is great

Wonder how much of her own wealth Sarah's contributed to the charities she was patron of ... ? Hmm

CathyorClaire · 27/09/2025 20:25

I don't think either of their husbands are super rich so would be interested to know how they fund their seemingly lavish lifestyles but of course like all the Royals - there is no transparency when it comes to their finances.

I agree.

The property business is classed as a small business at Companies House and the last accounts filed show net current assets of some £107k (down from £460k in 2022) while Captain Tequila now appears to have turned his hand to upmarket estate agency. Nice commission I expect but not super rich league.

Both daughters seem to have enviably flexible 'employers'.

My spidey senses sniff bulging trust funds upwind.

Middlemarch123 · 27/09/2025 17:14

You all probably know this, but I just saw the news. The actress who played Sarah in a recently completed movie, called The Lady was interviewed. She said that following the recent events coming to light about Sarah and Epstein, she is distancing herself from the movie and refusing any promotion or appearances for it. Said it was totally against her moral values. Good for her, she came across really well.

What was already known of Fug's contacts with Epstein (£15k helping hands and multiple contact numbers) were enough to raise red flags.

I don't blame an actress for taking a job but then distancing herself from it under the guise of innocence is disingenuous IMO.

Lalgarh · 28/09/2025 00:49

LidlAmaretto · 27/09/2025 16:04

Exactly. As if having an art history degree and a ' job' in a gallery that allowed you to have as many holidays as you like gives you enough understanding of economics to speak at the WEF! Their only qualification is that they are members of the RF and the knowledge that they are all still clearly in with the family. Them and their parents.

Shades of Ghislaine Maxwell and her ocean charity inexplicably getting to address the United Nations. I'm assuming there's a PR advisor who has suggested this. I wouldn't be surprised if Beatrice/ Eugenie have thier own charity / foundations that they can use to launder their reputations as humanitarian activists

More docs released by House Oversight Committee.

One heavily redacted ledger records two references of payments for massages for an "Andrew" in February and May 2000.

While Palace records, photographs and press reports from the time indicate Prince Andrew had travelled to the US around the time of the dates recorded in the newly released document, it is not clear who the "Andrew" referred to in the ledger is.

On 11 May 2000, Buckingham Palace said on its website that Prince Andrew had flown to New York to attend a reception there for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. Andrew returned to the UK on 15 May, a later entry said.

The name Andrew
Dates fit
He travels to NY

How revolting to think he is in NY to attend a reception for the NSPCC , Prevention of Cruelty to Children whilst getting massages from trafficked girls, possibly underage. Too much of a coincidence not be him

ThePoshUns · 28/09/2025 07:56

That’s really grim @jumpingthehighjump.
Article in the Times today saying the Yorks are banned from Sandringham and public events. Family events they are to be ‘ invisible’ ie use discreet entrances and exit.
I think a public statement would be a good move as well.

I actually think that is quite sad, it’s so difficult to be a working actor and earn a living, jobs are not easy to come by, so for her to feel she had to walk back on a decision she clearly initially thought was a great opportunity, is tough and ultimately maybe a knee jerk reaction.

jumpingthehighjump · 28/09/2025 08:36

They were banned from Christmas Sandringham last year because of Andrew and the Chinese spy. I did think to myself, what does it matter, they have their own children and grandchildren but in that article it says Sarah and Andrew spent Christmas alone at Royal Lodge

Perhaps their daughters are getting fed up with them too

If the daughters were fed up of them they'd have to give back all the dodgy handouts they'innocently' received into their bank accounts. The girls are either extraordinarily dim or they knew all along what was going on. They and the Royals are trying to stop the damage spreading. They knew what Andrew and Fergie were doing. How could they not have, with all their contacts, advisors, government meetings etc. They simply didn't care until now, when everyone else knows too.

jumpingthehighjump · 28/09/2025 09:31

Yes that is definitely some firefighting going on to try and put a lid on this

MrsLeonFarrell · 28/09/2025 10:32

There's an article in The Mail today about poor Beatrice who now can't be a working royal because of her parents. Definitely some fire fighting going on.

The problem with the story is that iirc it was Charles who refused to let the York girls be working royals some years ago. I don't think that has changed.

Viewed in context the article is less about pity for Beatrice and raised the question who behind the scenes is trying to push her forward, again. I'm betting Andrew can't see why his "blood princesses" aren't front and centre.

The article snippet on the front page has this key sentence

"The Duke of York seems to relish the prospect of not being low key".

The dull entitled sleaze bucket (thank you Marina Hyde) will eventually need banned entirely since he cannot take a hint or listen to a direct request. I don't know how Charles will do it but if he doesn't William will.

As usual the question has to be what happens if Andrew and/or Sarah don't want to behave discreetly and decide they want revenge

Right or wrong, the general public will not put up with the daughters doing any royal duties.
I think there is more to come out about their Middle Eastern connections because it seems so ODD that, Doha, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain are all courting them and they are out there repeatedly. Why?
What do the two daughters of a disgraced member of the royal family have to offer?
I would like to know

i feel like the RF leave things until crisis point to actually respond.

Oh gosh I forgot about the Chinese spy

The Moghuls used to keep recalcitrant princes and Spares under a sort of house arrest and ply them with unlimited alcohol and "girls" (urgh) to keep them out of the public eye. Maybe this was what Andrew was actually expecting. He is essentially the Fredo

One would hope Charles deals with it, a lot on William’s shoulders to deal with the Yorks and his brother and SIL.

It would be better if Charles dealt with it. Interesting timing that this article is released just after William and Charles spent some time together.

C3 finally showing a bit of backbone is laughable when he and the rest have tacitly endorsed and enabled the sleazy Yorks in their publicity quest for years.

Too little too late.

I agree. This has been going on YEARS. All this bleating about Andrew moving off Royal Estate and bingo, he miraculously finds mega bucks to fund repairs (after daughters are flying out to ME time and time again)
Nothing happened after the Chinese Spy and I doubt anything will happen now

Charles is very good at pretending to deal with it but never does

Precisely, Cathy - though I do agree with MrsLF that the timing's interesting, coming just after William and his dad met at Balmoral

As I've mentioned before there really isn't a lot that's gone right since the Queen died, but then with Charles in charge I didn't really expect it to
It seems that all monarchists can hope is that William makes a better fist of things

I agree. The Royals are walking headlong into another crisis that 'they didn't know anything about' at the time.
The only thing the York girls have to offer in relation to their ME visits is that the Royals have demonstrated time and again that their parents are very much in the family fold, despite not being working Royals. They holiday with them, they are driven around by them, they go riding with them, have them look after their pets. They are apparently so worried that Harry is going to tell Netflix that The King has been given a picture of his own grandchildren that they don't care that Andrew, Fergie and their children have been consorting with shady characters all over the place. Doing something undisclosed and coming home mysteriously with rather a lot of money.
