Meanwhile, Meg’s trying to flog a feel-good lifestyle brand and crates of rosé wine.

Every glass comes with a free scowl from my Prince!

TizerorFizz · 07/08/2025 09:12

I don’t think the charity will need to do anything other than follow the plan given to it by the CC. Raking it all up again is foolish. Depends what the role of the other founder is too. All of this must be agreed and roles clear. No one wants a charity that’s got endless investigations. Without Harry its fundraising efforts must be severely dented anyway.

Watch her distance herself from him. She has form for self preservation when the shit hits the fan - eg Jessica Mulroney.

Harry has seemingly referred to the new trustees as SC's " stool pigeons ".

This by Rebecca English in the Mail today, hopefully this link will work. when things don’t go his way his inner spoilt brat doesn’t take long to surface, now it’s the Charity Commission that isn’t fit for purpose, it was RAVEC the other week, I didn’t think he could get more odious but somehow he manages it.

https://archive.ph/0spqd

What’s more, while the prince is weighing up his options over what to do next, they said if he were to set up a charity again he ‘would categorically not do it under the jurisdiction of the Charity Commission for England and Wales which he has no faith in and would go as far to say that he believes isn’t fit for purpose’.

The commission, let us remind ourselves, is the Government’s independent regulatory body – and we all know, after his decisive loss in the Court of Appeal over his UK security arrangements earlier this year, what he thinks of such official bodies. Another ‘establishment stitch-up’, no doubt.

I think this statement says it all

"It's difficult to shake the feeling that when it comes to the Duke of Sussex , however admirable his intentions, a trail of toxicity is always left in his wake"

There are numerous quiet benefactors who just get on with it behind the scenes and do not feel the need to show up and be seen all the time.

He is a basic little fishwife isn't he?

KatherineParr · 07/08/2025 10:11

So Harry's takeaway is:

  • Regulatory bodies that agree with him and give him what he wants are fit for purpose.
  • Regulatory bodies that do not give him what he wants are not fit for purpose.

Right.

He keeps calling Sentebale his life’s work, but if that were true, he would have shown a lot more consistent involvement over the years. The reality is that he hardly ever visited the charity’s projects on the ground. Between 2006 and 2020 — a span of 14 years — he reportedly visited Lesotho only a handful of times. (He visited TWO times in the last 10 years). That’s hardly the level of dedication you'd expect for something described as a personal mission.

And yet now the media repeats this narrative without question — just like Rhiannon Mills from Sky News, who falsely claimed he was “cleared” of bullying. That is simply not accurate.
The Charity Commission’s review clearly stated there was no evidence of widespread or systemic bullying, but also made it clear they did not investigate individual complaints. That includes the very serious allegations made by Sophie Chandauka, a Black female board member. So no, he wasn’t “cleared” — because those claims were never properly examined.
Presenting him as vindicated is a deliberate misrepresentation of the facts.

How would he know what is 'fit for purpose' and what isn't? He has hardly climbed up through the ranks of any organisation to have intricate knowledege of anything. He is a lost soul flailing at the world. It so sad yet fascinating to observe.

I agree 100%. He was her stepping stone though - just like every other 'relationship' she has had in the past from husbands, colleagues, friends, family ... they all serve as a bridge to her ambitions - but once they threatend her status or can serve no further purose in bolstering her trajectory they are dropped - 'skidmarkled'.

PH sailing very close to the wind. She's probs in her counting house 'doing the math'.

Seems even Doria has been disgarded / dispensed with now that her childcare duties are not required as the youngest is kindergarden / school age.

My2cents1975 · 07/08/2025 11:34

As ever, H and reality remain parallel lines.

H has not quite grasped his diminished circumstances. Firstly, the whole world knows that KC3 is not talking to H and has cancer. Secondly, for those who matter, future KW5 is who matters. Future KW5 is the one meeting with Trump, Macron, Starmer, Merz, etc. And future KW5 has made his stance on his wayward brother quite clear...H is out.

The Sentebale temper tantrum proves that H is his very worst enemy, as H will alienate the blue-chip donor class that H desperately needs. Even worse for his ongoing charitable activities, by needlessly antagonizing the Charity Commission he has invited further scrutiny and harsher sanctions for the rest of his UK activities...as the Commission may choose severity over leniency in matters where they have discretion.

adajumper · 07/08/2025 11:56

When you have been privileged your whole life and have no humility, just a huge sense of class entitlement.... what should we expect? Thank goodness he's the spare. Well he's no longer the spare, as the Wales kids have superseded him, so he's just silly old Harry with a chip on his shoulder.

JSMill · 07/08/2025 10:10

H is angry with a lot of people isn’t he?! It must be very hard being him.

Invictus is pretty much all he’s got left and he’s on thin ice with that.

Harry - dial back the Meghan involvement - no one at Invictus wants her and she’s leaching funds. If Birmingham actually comes off at all in the financial mess that city is in, it’s going to be H’s last chance to get things right in his charitable role.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 07/08/2025 12:10

Profhilodisaster · 07/08/2025 00:49

Wow he really is a nasty, vexatious POS isnt he. Is that another threat and smear on SC?

He's spiteful, saying he hoped SC was forced out rather than saying he hopes that the charity can now move forward and continue to support those it was designed to help. It shows that he's only interested in bringing people down who don't agree with him, he doesn't care about Sentebale.

Worth remembering the alleged quote about wanting to force Sophie out is from "a source" rather than Harry himself, Profhilodisaster, but I do agree it matches the kind of spite he's displayed so often

So yet again it seems he'd prefer to take something down completely rather than suffer the tiniest personal disadvantage

We all get snippy about things at times, but between the family relationships, the failed initiatives, the pummelling in court and whatever the drugs are doing to his clearly fragile mind I don't imagine things are especially pleasant

I agree.

No one cares if Haz thinks anything is fit for purpose because he has no credentials to show that he fully understands what is involved in running these things. No study, no work experience, no long-standing involvement.

It just smacks of sour grapes.

Profhilodisaster · 07/08/2025 13:49

By letting his ego get in the way he has hurt the very people that need the charity and that he claims to be his life's work.

So very selfish and arrogant.
