That Sun article was very pro-William! Nice to see.

I remember an annoyed Charles allegedly commented that he was not a bank at one point.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 14/07/2025 11:33

Funny how supporters take umbrage at Charles making what they deem a hurtful comment towards Harry, they never think Charles may find it incredibly hurtful that he is allegedly seen as a Sussex cash cow, never mind the dreadful things Harry has done and said about Charles (for money) and other members of his family, it’s always Harry’s feelings that are important, no one else, it’s disgusting that Charles, William and Catherine are never afforded the same sympathy when they are the victims of the toxic duo’s vile abuse over many years.

Just come across this thread and seen this. Could you link to the official quote from Charles saying this about his son because I can't imagine him putting this out as it's not a very nice thing to say and I thought he would be above that sort of thing.
If he did say this, it's very hurtful.

The truth always hurts doesn't it?

BustingBaoBun · 14/07/2025 11:38

onehorse So it's official he did say that? I need to see his 'quote' then because it's all 'allegedly' etc. He spoke very fondly about his father in his book so ....

BigWilly... not a lot I can say to your post. At times I have sympathies for both sides but your anger calling them a toxic duo and saying there is vile abuse by them means there's not a lot of point discussing what I think because you are so defensive and anything I say just ends up with posts like yours!

Personally I hope they do reconcile in some way even if it is a fragile reconciliation.

😂😂😂
What's Harry been saying about his Dad for the last 5 years? For payment?
Charles has shown a lot of restraint, imo!

Quite. Harry untruthfully stated to Oprah that his father had cut him off, when this was not the case, as proven by the BP accounts. They made Charles sound callous. Do Sussex supporters ever think about how that would have hurt Charles, not just in personal/familial terms, but on the world stage? I'm sick of hearing about Harry the victim. Utter DARVO.

OlympicWomen · 14/07/2025 11:44

Plus on the OW show, Harry lied about being cut off from the Bank of Pa.

Oh here we go. Attack the poster, rather than address what she's said, and claim you are the victim.

Yes its the new script, utterly transparent.

BustingBaoBun · 14/07/2025 11:52

I am not attacking anyone. And I certainly am not a victim! What an odd thing to say.
If you feel that was a personal attack, please do report it to mnhq, I have no problem you doing so.

I feel someone saying I am working to a script (no idea what that means) is more of an attack than anything I have said!

There is no point in coming on these threads and trying to discuss anything! Just like a plane departure, I will leave you all to it! Ciao!

HonoriaBulstrode · 14/07/2025 11:53

He spoke very fondly about his father in his book so ....

He spoke very disrespectfully, and revealed what should have been entirely private conversations, in the passage about whether M should go to Balmoral on the day the Queen died. The most important day, and possibly the saddest day, of Charles's life, and H makes it all about him.

Spectre8 · 14/07/2025 11:54

Meanwhile many go on to continually attack H&M day in day out.

Didn’t he also fantasise about having the power to shoot him as well? What a loving son Harry is.

Yes, he was rude, scathing and unpleasant about most of his family. Of course, the important thing was to make money, so I don't suppose he has regrets.

Oh yes, when he identified his father's car, when he was in a helicopter.
Charming.

Criticism of what they say and what they do isn't "attacking".

Yes you are. You are claiming the "anger" of other posters is stopping you from posting your thoughts, ergo, victim. Nobody is stopping you from posting anything you want. You just don't get to post unchallenged.

Weepixie · 14/07/2025 11:58

@BustingBaoBun the story behind it is in the public domain and I think it would be very easily found if you looked for it.

I see M and H are now furiously denying that they leaked the details. Yeah, right.

They personally may not have. But cynically , this sounds like the plausible deniability route they went down re Scobie's book.

I obviously don't know , but if I had to bet , on past performance I reckon this has come from somewhere in the Sussex camp. I think the trouble is their record regarding the truth is poor , and so unsurprisingly a lot of people don't automatically believe them.

MrsLeonFarrell · 14/07/2025 12:26

Whoever leaked having a meeting about possible reconciliation, or anything really, without involving William is I think a bit short sighted. They keep trying to keep the current monarch onboard whilst ignoring the fact that the Heir will be taking over in the next ten years. It just causes problems down the line.

BemusedAmerican · 14/07/2025 12:27

Slight off- topic but a SS member harassed Camilla Tominey at Wimbledon. CT called her out:

Am I defending them? They left, I dont have a peovlem with thay. They wanted half in half out and I don't have an issue with it or wanting to make their own money. I don't have an issue with their business endeavours to date, why would I? She wants to sell some things okay good for her, crack on. It has zero impact to my life.

Why is interesting is people here acting all pious about truth and facts and then they themselves making up lies. Or those go on about how awful they did this hut if you ask them what if someone else did it well thats okay apparently. The hypcrocrisy of many posters on here thats what I find interesting

Can you please give a few examples of people on here making up lies?

If he did say this, it's very hurtful.

That’s a sword that cuts both ways though, doesn’t it?

Here’s a sample of some of the things Harry has personally and openly said about his father in just two of the interviews he’s put into the world. Let alone the constant swipes in Spare that are two numerous to mention. Charles has publicly said nothing about Harry other than expressing his love for them as they build their lives overseas.

Harry said in his BBC interview that he didn’t know how long his father had left. He also accused Charles of participating in a a stitch up by not stepping aside and letting RAVEC do its job: "There is a lot of control and ability in my father's hands. Ultimately, this whole thing could be resolved through him. Not necessarily by intervening, but by stepping aside, allowing the experts to do what is necessary and to carry out an RMB (Risk Management Board)…I have had it described to me, once people knew about the facts, that this is a good old-fashioned establishment stitch-up, and that's what it feels like”.

Harry told Oprah that Charles had stopped taking his calls. He suggested to Oprah his father was jealous of the attention Meghan had received on their tour of Australia and New Zealand “Harry: But it was also . . . it was also the first time that the family got to see how incredible she is at the job. And that brought back memories. Oprah: Where your father and your mother went [to Australia], and your mother was bedazzling. So, are you saying that there were hints of jealousy? Harry: Look, I just wish that we would all learn from the past…

Harry said his father and brother are “Trapped within the system, like the rest of my family are. My father and my brother, they are trapped. They don’t get to leave”. Harry also said his family “literally cut me off financially…” - which can only be a reference to Charles who funded Meghan and Harry from the Duchy of Cornwall.

Harry said about his father “I feel really let down, because he’s been through something similar. He knows what pain feels like, and this is . . . and Archie’s his grandson. And . . . but, at the same time, you know, I, of course I will always . . . I will always love him, but there’s a lot of hurt that’s happened”.

Very hurtful is an understatement here.

Zippedydodah · 14/07/2025 12:48

We also don’t know what was left out of the Spare book. Charles -and possibly William - might still have a lot to gain from rebuilding bridges
@FancyBiscuitsLevel - Isn’t that coercion or blackmail?
If ‘rebuilding bridges’ is in the forlorn hope that Harry and /or Meghan won’t throw more dirt at the royal family then that’s the worst idea ever!
I would hope that the royal family has more sense ffs!

OlympicWomen · 14/07/2025 12:54

Maybe it was more todger stories, @Zippedydodah 🤮 🤢
