Apols if this has been said (I have read most of the thread) but Divorce? And Harry needs a) a return to the fold/title and role and b) Daddy to pay her off for him/help with custody?

I'd be lying if I said it didn't cross my mind, but for me personally it's a line of speculation that I feel uncomfortable with.

Is it too far fetched to think that M deliberately leaked this as she most definitely does not want to return to the U.K.?
Judging by most people’s reaction she will say that the RF has turned everyone against them and it wouldn’t be safe for them here.

My money would be on M instructing H that it was to be leaked.

particularly the children but of all the possible things it could be it’s quite a plausible one, I agree with you.

Are we sure it’s not Meghan sneaking in to try and control things? Or has she consciously or unconsciously chosen a PR chief who looks just like her?😲🤔

I too would love to hear from GiveMeSpanakopita as I well remember the thread where she exactly predicted this would happen, and about 2 million people (including myself) said she was, very unusually, very wrong! She said there would be PR showing a joint reaching out by both BP and the Sussexes and here we are. My first thought on seeing the story in the DM was "someone on Mumsnet said this!" So if she doesn't mind coming back to all the naysayers 😄 it would be lovely to hear her take (and we'll listen this time!)

There is plenty of evidence to show that people recruit in their own image unless they adopt competency-based interviewing. We need to be alert to Meredith saying 'I work sooo hard' and peppering her sentences with 'lens' then we'll know she's Thomas and Doria's other daughter 😄

The Mirror has an article saying that Charles is open to reconciliation if Harry agrees to stop attacking them publicly but William is not interested in being involved. No mention of Meghan.

None of this is proven though. It's just all gossip currently.

Actually, the leak by H could serve the RF well. It protects them in the eyes of the public against a future charge from H of 'my family refuses to speak to me'. Sending aides shows they are at least willing to open dialogue. What may or my not be agreed is less important.

Maybe the penny has finally dropped and Harry has realised how much he's mucked things up with his family and more importantly the British public. How can he possibly come back after all he's said and done. The late Queens uncle David asked to come back frequently and that was always a hard no. I think the RF would take Harry back at some point and get really good PR in overdrive. Would they let Megan back.... not a chance. Harry is family, Megan is and always will be the outsider.

Sorry bit of a ramble of thoughts there 😳

If I were Harry and Megan I would not want Charles or William or Katherine or Camilla there at Invictus. I would be concerned that they would receive standing ovations and I might very well be booed!
