At the more sophisticated end artificial intelligence with the ability to imitate human speech can create unlimited fake engagement to influence perception of the client. You simply buy the likes just like you'd buy paper towels online.

When a celebrity claims XYZ number of followers, the true number of real human followers may be half or less, with the balance bought by PR agencies.

This is why many marketing departments have pulled back sharply on influencer spending as marketing analysis on sales showed an ever-widening gap between the influencer's likes/views and the subsequent sales of whatever product/service they were selling.

I am honestly gobsmacked that he still feels the need to wear those four medals: the Afghanistan Service Medal for having been posted to Afghanistan, and the three medals to celebrate the late Queen's gold, diamond and platinum jubilees.
