Happy 10th birthday to Princess Charlotte. The Prince and Princess of Wales have released an image via Instagram to mark the occasion. Photo taken by Catherine (apparently using an iPhone).

Princesses and princes can elegant. Ever heard of the handsome Prince Charming - always pretty and neat in lovely frills.

Not sure what the mum that wore a transparent dress to bag a prince is trying to prove.

Well Charles II was "pretty and neat in lovely frills" when he escaped after the Battle of Worcester and had to lose them, his riding boots and his long curls PQD and adopt rough country dress, because he was being hunted by half the Commonwealth soldiers in England.

Charlotte would also look a bit daft in a "princess" dress in the middle of whatever countryside the photo was taken in. Also, she's 10 years old, where would "elegance" come into it?

My first response to that was that it’s Photoshopped. Something about the way her head sits on her body looks wrong — as though two different photos with a different filter or slightly different focus had been used. Her face looks ‘sharper’ than her hair where it falls over her shoulder and her body, or something. It was the first thing I noticed and I can’t ‘unsee’ it, and was surprised no one else had mentioned it.

you can easily take that photo with an iPhone. I’ve got similar of my daughter. Looks like portrait mode

Looks like a leafy pattern and rucksack straps to me. I very much doubt if she’s hunting (if peiple
mean stalking.) One because that’s not what you wear for stalking. But mostly because not even the worst PR company in the world would allow a picture of a royal child engaging in blood sports!🤣🤣
