Harry and RAVEC - claims he was trapped by RF

Okay. So first of all thanks to everyone on the last thread for a really civilised discussion about Harry and his security. The Telegraph has an exclusive article where Harry claims that his security was removed to “trap” him in the RF. I’m really sorry but for some reason I am unable to archive Telegraph articles at the moment. Could anyone help?

Being more cynical, I think the reasons behind the near catastrophic car chase were to try and prove that they need security, not because of paranoia, but because a)they want their security provided for free and b) they want to be as important as William and his family. I’ve said before, Harry just doesn’t get that being the second son of the king doesn’t make you constitutionally important once you start slipping down the line of succession. And that is what decides your level of security.
There was no danger in the car chase, whatever letter the NYPD issued to make Harry stop badgering them. The similarities to what happened to Diana in Paris (albeit this was at slow speed with no one ever in any real peril and no drunk driver) are too close to be coincidence - the paps and the not wearing seatbelts - and also the convenient timing around Harry’s first court hearing with regard to security

Like I've said before Harry is so stupid, doesn't he realise all of this is documented on the internet , we can see how he contradicts himself and how things are not as he reports.

Yes I remember that. At the time, I thought it showed H to be quite fragile mentally but now I wonder if it was part of their campaign to get their security paid for.

I'm not sure what Sophie Wessex will think of Harry's visit. Plus Sophie was actually in the heart of war torn Kyiv.

Unbelievably, Meghan has put it up on her instagram, not relating it to Harry with a photo of him, (which there are many to choose from!) but next to recent photos of her!! Beyond weird, creepy and self absorbed.

I don’t have a problem with Harry going to Ukraine. God knows they need to keep drawing as much attention as possible to the horrendous situation there. The problem I have is with Harry’s motivation for going there. It isn’t to highlight what’s going on in Ukraine, it’s purely self promotion when taken with the fact that he is touring for security. As for Meghan posting that on instagram (especially as it begins with the words ”your Royal Highness”, without specifying that it refers to Harry), words fail me

Yes @Mylovelygreendress the letter is to Harry. That’s the point, Meghan has made it all about her.
The letter was written following Harry’s visit last week.

I can’t understand why some people still defend her when she does stuff like this.

Megan implying the letter is to her by using photos of her rather than Harry is another sign that she is all about building herself as the Sussex brand. He is just the one who facilitated her getting the title and the royal kids. She has probably already realised he is a liability from a work and PR perspective. (I imagine the stuff in Spare put a few nails in the marital coffin too eg how he lost his virginity).

She is the only one who can earn the $$$ for the family coffers. So she goes all out to monetise every opportunity and wring the most PR possible out of everything. They brought it on themselves by leaving the RF in such a disingenuous public way but my god he must be exhausting to live with and she must feel a heavy burden on her shoulders as everyone watches their releases underperform. Their earning power is slowly deflating with every attempt. I imagine it’s all such a let down from the hopes she had on her wedding day.

The Halo Trust are currently working in Ukraine, and have been for a while. Their work is absolutely critical. I've not seen or heard a word from Meg (or Harry) about it's work, the bravery of its people, or the fact that they are a charity and thus permanently having to fundraise as well as carrying out its core work of landmine removal, training local teams, and providing other crucial services.

I'm watching Rory McIlroy on the news and wondering if Meghan regrets the one that got away.....

Pretty sure Rory will have no regrets !
