Harry and RAVEC - claims he was trapped by RF

Okay. So first of all thanks to everyone on the last thread for a really civilised discussion about Harry and his security. The Telegraph has an exclusive article where Harry claims that his security was removed to “trap” him in the RF. I’m really sorry but for some reason I am unable to archive Telegraph articles at the moment. Could anyone help?

The source is 'close business friends' whoever they are when they're at home.

But yet another media leak by Harry. Is anyone keeping count?

The impression I'm getting is that Harry doesn't seem to think he needs to cooperate and possibly compromise with anyone. He doesn't want to inform RAVEC of his movements in advance, and doesn't want to ask his family for permission to stay in royal accommodation because he might not get what he thinks is his due, and of course 'they' might be spying on him.

As I've said before, Charles made a smart move by not renewing the lease on Frogmore. Harry himself is a security threat.

He doesn't want to inform RAVEC of his movements in advance

Yes you are totally correct - because he refuses to follow procedure to give 30 days notice - in his own irrational head he can spin that into 'I get no security in the UK' as his 'truth'.

New nonsense from Harry and his mates via The Express https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/2040941/prince-harrys-olive-branch-william
Summary: he stayed in Cowarth Park Hotel, close to Adelaide Cottage, as an olive branch to William and family. William was told through his security team. Harry didn't know william was not in the UK. There is speculation on X was Twitter that using security to communicate means there is some sort of cordon in place to prevent Harry getting within a certain distance of William. Does anyone know if the security info does point to there being a cordon?

Edited for typo

Harry didn't know William was not in the UK.

Wonder if once William knows PH is on the move he scarpers?

Why doesnt he stay at one of the many royal residences that have been offered to him and are much higher security?

I can’t understand that either @Ethela . He’d have tight security at a Royal residence!

But that wouldn't be personal security for him and so not good enough

Because he's a div !

Until the Wales’ DC start having kids & Harry moves down the LoS, he will continue to be a thorn in the side of the RF.

Possibly even beyond that. He'll want special treatment for his children. They have called her Princess Lilibet Diana for a reason.

Shocking if that's true!

Why do they keep referring to MM as 'TW'? Is it 'the wife', 'the witch"!

Because he thinks the walls are bugged to spy on him.

I suspect that his phone etc would be removed and he's be searched too.

That's shocking! Who the hell does this woman think she is?! She's little better than a common thief? If you'd just married into a wealthy family wouldn't you be taking it easy until you worked out the lie of the land? She's just a nasty, grabby social climber.

As is said in today's article

But one royal insider said Harry seemed 'unable to make up his mind' adding that having previously said quit Britain because his family were not being protected, now 'he is saying that withdrawing their security was actually a ploy by the Royal Family to make them stay. Which is it?'

It's neither imho. He was led by his stupid dick by her and she thought that they could make far more money outside the RF than in. They wanted to stay in at the same time to maximise their earning potential and do all the shiney, starry, high publicity duties. TLQ saw them coming, didn't she?!

She's just greedy and grasping and so is he.

I sometimes wonder what happened to all that designer clobber, none of which (AFAIK) has ever been seen again

I always think it must have been mortifying for her - she slimmed down for her wedding then bagged herself clothing worth nearly half a million quid (which she squeezed herself in to), then had a baby and couldn't fit into any of it any more.

It's probably too big for her now though. I guess she could always get it altered.

He bangs on about the UK being too perilous for his family, waging legal crusades over security provisions, yet here he is, swanning into war zones and countries with travel warnings, trading on his fading royal luster to clutch at relevance – all while dodging the duties he willingly jettisoned. Bereft of official standing in America or Britain, his quest to play maverick royal smacks of pantomime.

His tell-all tome bared a chap desperate to ditch protocol and flashbulbs. Yet his post-royal antics tell another tale. Far from skulking into obscurity, he’s built a career on exposure – lucrative media contracts, a confessional book and stage-managed tours that hold him in the public’s gaze. If he yearned for quiet, why hog the limelight?

The Sussexes are not serving – they are performing to the camera, and the world’s their stage.

After all the b*tching he did about others briefing the media, it's Harry who's as leaky as a sieve!

The Sussexes have always leaked to the press, and are not above colluding with the tabloids. Whatever gets the headlines and the clicks, I guess.
The pair of them have done well this week! Lots of front pages.

It is. It does make one wonder just how long it will be possible for pa & co to continue not complaining and not explaining. The outcome of the Charity Commission investigation and ?statutory enquiry, and the ruling from the court of appeal must surely be a watershed moment (or two). The aspect of it all that is becoming more and more prominent is that Harry is using up thousands of pounds of public money in a nation in which nearly a third of all children live in poverty. It is getting silly, and boring, but he is a real liability and threat to national security - going to Ukraine without liaising with the Foreign Office, making insinuations about the security information he heard in camera last week, making him in contempt if court. In addition, Meghan has broken the Sandringham summit agreement by making money from their titles, Harry is still a counsellor of state despite having no home in the UK, there has been no formal authenticating of two children who are sixth and seventh in the line of succession. Lots of loose ends that need tying up.

@IdaGlossop or perhaps @Serenster knows

"making insinuations about the security information he heard in camera last week, making him in contempt if court. "

Given he didn't quote anything, just gave his opinion details were shocking , is this contempt of court or just very bad form.

Either way he or his barrister must be in line for a reprimand. He's implying counsel for the HO are telling lies , surely?

But at least Meghan got some nice Instagram content out of his visit.

BasiliskStare · 13/04/2025 18:52

Well according to google maps it's between 1.9 - 2.6 miles from Chelsea Old Town Hall to BP. Busy traffic but a decent driver could find some back roads I'm sure.

Ethela · 13/04/2025 19:17

Funny how he gave a different excuse not to attend his other 'bestie' Hugh Grosvenor The Duke of Westminster's huge society wedding last year - PW (a groomsman?) & Eugenie attended....decided between them best he not come - nothing to do with security mentioned then.

He really is a vexatious and mendacious fool.

Yes, you'd have to wonder how long they can sit and let this circus go on, but what can they realistically do? Cut Harry out of the will?
