Is it “usual/normal” to be still having treatment over a year on from its start?
I’m concerned for him as I really do like and admire him.

I'm still having treatment 16 months after diagnosis

Strangely , I have some sort of mental block when it comes to the civil war .
I get confused over which Charles did what and Cromwell I often think of Thomas first.

Thomas Cromwell was powerful for a while in the time of Henry VIII.

Oliver Cromwell was the one who was Protector, if that is the right word, after Charles I was beheaded. I'm not sure what morals were forgotten in Oliver Cromwell's time. One thing which I learned about him about 2 years ago is that Jewish people were allowed back into England(?) during his time in power. I don't know if he could be said to have reigned. (Not rained (weather) or reined (horses)).

The book '1066 And All That' says that the Cavaliers were Wrong but Romantic and the Roundheads were Right but Rotten.

that's not wishing death; that's musing on peoples reactions should he die soon.
he is in his 70's and as the whole royal thing is based on inheritance I don't think it's crass to discuss the impact this one's death would have

@Matildatoldsuchdreadfullies , I have crawled on my belly towards the laptop. I was going to write Wromantic and then thought it should be Romantic. Oh, yes, I should have scrambled for the book. I was right first thought and it is indeed 'Wrong but Wromantic' and thank you for correcting me to 'Right and Repulsive'. Now I am furious with myself for 'pendantic'.
