A genuinely nice and friendly thread about Meghan

Hi everyone! As suggested on another thread, I’m starting this to provide some balance to the MM / MS threads which have been perceived as bullying and not joyful.

So please feel free to join in and share something pleasant and joyful about your day or any comments about MM / MS as an antidote if the other threads have caused you upset. Please be nice!

I’ll begin by saying that writing notes by hand is a lovely thing to do, and conveys sincerity beyond any effusive email or text message. And nice handwriting is a bonus! Hand cramp is a problem of the digital age.

Also, I’ve watched two episodes of the series now, and I love the garden plants in California. Waiting for the spring to bloom here!

Thereis no proof though. None at all. In fact she married a man who who openly recorded himself calling his army colleague racist slurs but you seem very keen to white wash over

The use of the “p” word in the U.K. is almost on par with the use of the “n” word in the US but it is always brushed aside!! I find it very infuriating and strange.

Yes she is. And also thought she looked beautiful when her and Harry brought baby Archie out. Yes, she was fuller in the face, understandable as she'd just given birth, but she looked glowing in my opinion.
I think she is in danger of getting a bit too thin now, but maybe I'm saying that because I feel like a beached whale at the moment 🤣

Yes I can’t understand how people refuse to believe that she may well have bullied staff especially given the turnover of their staff and articles from publications like VF printing stories about bullying, but blindly believe Megan and Harry when they have offered no proof either in their accusations.

I don’t believe for a minute there were concerns over Archie. I do agree the “p” word is horrendous

I did lose a huge amount of weight once, and my god did it show in my face. I honestly had people I hadn't seen for a while think I was ill !
However, going the other way like now is not good either!

There is proof of media racism toward Meghan. We’ve seen the headlines and articles.

I haven’t washed over it at all. I mentioned Harry’s racist remarks, said he should have addressed and apologised for them and that he was wrong. What else could I have said? I’m not British and I’m not white, I have zero tolerance of racism from anyone. I’ll be more clear, Harry’s comments were unacceptable and I still think he should apologise for them.

However, when we know members of his family have previously been racist, Harry would have exposed to racism growing up in his family. It then doesn’t take much to believe that the family who had been racist previously, had concerns over Meghan and Harry’s children’s skin colour. Personally I believe them on that.

It’s not proof, but without recording the conversation, there could be no proof. I believe it’s likely so I believe it. Others don’t have to. We will probably never know for definite.

There is proof of Phillips racist comments. He’s been quoted by journalists who were on the different royal tours with him. It was all considered a ‘bit of a giggle’ back then, and the feelings of the people hurt by his statements went unconsidered really. Did Phillip ever apologise for it?

Harry didn’t fall far from Phillips tree did he? Understandable in a way that he’d be like his grandfather in this, as both boys were close to their grandfather apparently, especially in their growing up years.

Harry has apologised for his racism in the past and sought to educate himself. Which is exactly what is needed imo.

Harry has not apologised for the “p” word , he simply brushed it off as friendly banter!
as for the nazi outfit the palace issued a press release apologising on his behalf and he apparently visited a rabbi .
in his book he doesn’t apologise but again tried to brush things off ! , apparently it was William and Kate to blame for the nazi outfit!
his own mother had to tell him off as a child for mimicking and taking the piss out of and poc bus driver in public!
he hasn’t learned anything, he has showed no accountability.
he’s now just parroting phrases that clearly he doesn’t understand.
and blaming his behaviour on how he grew up is just passing the Buck.

Beautiful surroundings, I remember seeing the footage of Harry in the garden with hummingbirds. I've never seen one, beautiful birds. And so so tiny. Between 2 and 3 inches!

Hummingbirds are beautiful birds. I love the fact they have chickens.

Native to the US and never seen in the Uk so I'm unlikely to see one!
