A genuinely nice and friendly thread about Meghan

Hi everyone! As suggested on another thread, I’m starting this to provide some balance to the MM / MS threads which have been perceived as bullying and not joyful.

So please feel free to join in and share something pleasant and joyful about your day or any comments about MM / MS as an antidote if the other threads have caused you upset. Please be nice!

I’ll begin by saying that writing notes by hand is a lovely thing to do, and conveys sincerity beyond any effusive email or text message. And nice handwriting is a bonus! Hand cramp is a problem of the digital age.

Also, I’ve watched two episodes of the series now, and I love the garden plants in California. Waiting for the spring to bloom here!

Has anyone else listened to Meghan's podcast today? I thoroughly enjoyed it and thought she came across very well.

It's not something that interests me but from the reviews, she's a natural interviewer. It comes across as a gentle introduction to some successful women which I hope will inspire others. It's important for girls to have role models.

I listened to it today and thought it was good. It was interesting to hear how Whitney made Bumble and how she has coped with doing it all alongside having children, coping with crazy levels of media interest and keeping perspective. It’s usually successful men that we hear from so it was good to hear from women as our experiences are so different due expectations of motherhood and how women are treated in work and by the media.

I listened to the podcast last night. For me there was the right mix of their friendship, personal things and an insight into Whitney’s career. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

You think Meghan is lovely?? I thought so too until I watched the Oprah interview. You obviously didn't watch it....

Were you and I listening to the same thing? She's a dreadful interviewer. She has a hard time keeping the focus on her interviewee....she always turns the subject back to herself. As as for her word salad, God give me strength....
MM is the last person that girls need as a role model! Lying, manipulative narcissists do not make good role models!

After watching the Oprah interview and all the provable lies she spouted I just don't believe a word that comes out of her mouth. She's toxic

You have come on a thread that hasn’t been posted on for a month or so, so it would have been well down the list of threads, that is titled ‘a nice and friendly thread about Meghan’, to post 4 negative posts one after the other. Strange behaviour. There are lots of other threads for that. Are you quite ok?

To turn up the positivity a bit.

I loved Meghan's outfit at Disney she does casual really well. She is also the first celebrity I've seen to wear the ears as an adult and not look odd.

I'm not bitter Maitri, just keen to educate on Narcissistic Personality Disorder for those who don't appear to be aware. There is no need to worry about me Maitri and please don't be patronising. I was with a narcissist for over a decade but but thankfully I'm out of that relationship now and in a very happy marriage with two wonderful daughters. Having had such a bad experience (I can relate to how Harry transformed from being happy go lucky to a shell of his former self having been chipped away with living with an abuser) I am passionate about opening people's eyes to this NPD condition. I hope you are able to open your eyes also 🙏🏻

I assume you know Meghan personally and are trained in personality disorders. Therefore you are qualified to make a diagnosis.

You're also an expert in abuse and can spot it from a continent away. You're a very knowledgeable individual and have a lot to offer, let's hope things look up for you soon.💞
