It was reported early Monday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were planning a fly-on-wall show under their new Netflix deal. However, a spokesman for the couple denies the claims in U.K. paper The Sun, which said that the couple wanted to give people a "glimpse into their lives" while highlighting some of the causes most important to them.

"The Duke and Duchess are not taking part in any reality shows," the spokesman tells PEOPLE in a statement.

Some joked that the title for the show could be Meet the Markles or The Only Way Is Sussex, a take on the U.K. reality series The Only Way is Essex.

Unless Charles and William are Bond-style super villains 😀 and assuming they are fairly normal, flawed human beings.

I doubt there's not much else to reveal, given the big reveals (racism! briefing against us to hide stories about them!) have been shown to be dubious.

Yes, they have overplayed their hand. It worked in the short term. But now is coming back to bite them... because they can't deliver anything of substance.

It's a bit difficult to see what else they have to sell. Access to their children would bring in money initially, but I suspect would quickly wear off.

Because it’s not a thing Amy. That isn’t what Royals are formally known as. But Meghan has zero clue. But never lets that stop her.

It's all coming fast and furious. Let's be honest it's all a dogfight with celebs trying to get their names out there but for some reason Meghan seems to attract a shedload of it.

I can't lie, seeing grown assed women on Twitter swoon over a split banana topped with a few bits is nearly as entertaining as watching the original instagram, two women impersonating sally (when Harry met sally) groaning with delight. Imagine going to a mates house and being presented with a banana, one plate and two forks. You'd seriously tell them to get over themselves. At least serve in a bowl, yogurt, chopped fruit, fruit compote and a sprinkling of granola - now that's a breakfast.

I think a big part of the problem are the fans of these women ! They stoke the fires.

I am actually quite surprised at GP. She had been pursued through the courts for a few years by a man claiming she caused him a brain injury in a skiing accident. When she finally won, she went up to him in the court and said ‘I wish you well’. I thought was very classy. It does seem odd she is wasting time on making fun of MM.

So you think it's alright for someone in a position within the Catholic church to wade in with unpleasant comments. Okaaaay....

I like to think that a Catholic priest has empathy and kindness, not mean spirited nastiness.

I would not expect a Catholic Priest to wade in with horrible comments about a woman he doesn't know who... all she did was make a lifestyle series but he had to say unpleasant things about her and it.

She gives me the creeps

Gwyneth has been doing these videos for years, is there a bit of tongue and cheek in this one, I'd say probably. There is Gwyneth with her basket wondering across her acres of grounds, just like many instragrammers way before Meghan. Meghan has also entered a flooded market, flamingo estate had an out pouring of love when ARO was announced as it was obvious that they were a catalyst. Just as "as ever NYC" got. For those who call Gwyneth a mean girl the exact same came be said for Meghan, it's not like we didn't hear the references to the Royals in all she does. I know it seems vanity fair bullying appears to have blown over but it has more than likely changed a few minds in the business.
