The royal family

If Harry still lived in the UK , do you think the feud would have been sorted by now?

I do feel the biggest hurdle between Harry and his family is that he lives in another country, I think if he lived in the UK there would be more opportunity for them to sort it out

I think about how much they've been used or duped.
How people with something to benefit sold them the lie they'd easily make money from their status as celebrities.
That publishing a tell all book would be cathartic and help his family and the world understand him.

Yes they were stupid to believe this but I presume there were many people convincing them there was gold at the end of the rainbow.

Can say hand on heart, that I've never heard a conversation about what skin tone a baby will have. Among Black, white or mixed family members. PLENTY of talk about sex, attributes, weight.

MiserableMrsMopp · 11/03/2025 13:46

No issues with that. Each to their own.

And nope. I'm not a royal watcher. He's renowned for his temper. Typical angry man type like his grandad. Similar to both grandad and dad with his extra marital sh*gging around too.

Let's be honest, the public domain talk about William's affair massively predates Harry's wife. But if you want to force the jigsaw pieces into place. By all means go on with that.

Harry's gone. The current bunch are the ones we're stuck with.

Edited

I can't take you seriously when you throw out these allegations with no back-up.

I'm not usually a fan of loads of links etc pasted into posts, but what you are saying is just gossip and prejudice. I say again: how do you know William has 'a temper'? Blimey - I've got a temper, and I'm sure you have too! How are you suggesting that this temper manifests in his public role? You say you're not a royal watcher, but you must be more of a royal watcher than me to make these confident assertions as if they're common knowledge. I've never seen it.

What I have seen with William sometimes is evidence of stress, worry and pain (I wonder why???). And that's very different and I can completely understand how he might be feeling those things while being scrutinised to the nth degree in public. He's had a tough gig in the circumstances - largely due to his brother and sister-in-law.

There’s photos of Harry posing with Sussex Squad bullies at Invictus.

SS are very active online and you can see the sheer volume of posts they have made about Kate’s health etc Their bios on places like X make it crystal clear that they are SS - it’s not something that posters hide like being a fan of Farage or something. Social media posts and hashtag dates can be tracked with dates so it’s easy to follow the trail of who started hashtags and repeated false info.

As for the infidelity story, GC posted that he was responsible for starting that rumour when drunk and denies that it was true yet every few months SS will try and get the associated hashtags trending again.

I’m not saying that there’s nasty pro royalists because there are. They spread insane and false conspiracies about the Sussex family but the point of my post is that there is a deliberate campaign against the rest of Harry’s family organised online.

This.

For two people who say they’re anti bullying, and that Royals should speak out against incorrect stories, they had the power to stop this harrasment of a woman with cancer and they didn’t say a word. Clearly the denying stories desire only applied to THEM. Tells me everything o need to know

Cool, someone in the know. Is it true that the office of William and Catherine briefed against Harry and his wife?

No, it’s not

JandamiHash · 11/03/2025 14:34

MiserableMrsMopp · 11/03/2025 13:26

No, because the future king can't do that. But he's a nasty piece of work. Not entirely his fault (their screwy upbringing) but he's a chip off the old Phillip block all right. And I'd put good money on the skin colour comment being his.

I’d put money on the skin colour comment being a perfectly normal non racist conversation every family with a nice of races has. But they needed SOMETHING to fuel their new identity and “Daddy cut me off” doesn’t quite have the same ring to it

My2cents1975 · 11/03/2025 14:34

Historically, a covetous second son would sail off to France and build a mercenary army to return and physically attack an older brother. H&M have built an online army of trolls and media proxies who digitally attack working royals every day with particular focus on W&C.

Anyone on social media can view horrible posts from the Sussex Squad on any royal family activities e.g. yesterday’s Commonwealth event. At Invictus 2025, MM sat in front of Peace Adeturo, a Sussex Squad ringleader who traveled with H&M on the Nigeria grifters getaway aka “quasi royal tour”. Moreover, media proxies such as Ellie V Hall and Omid Scobie have continually harassed the royals in general and the Wales family in particular.

The royal family are correct in keeping their distance from the toxic H&M.

JandamiHash · 11/03/2025 14:35

Also Charles isn’t some bumbling fool who never met a back woman until Meghan. He’s famously progressive, and has spent decades travelling the commonwealth and merging more POC you can shake a stick at

Really? If I was pregnant with a mixed race child and someone commented on skin colour, I'd have nothing more to do with them. No need to have racists in your life.

How on earth do you know this? That isn't what I see.

I think you've been swallowing the Sussex narrative whole - and they've got a massive axe to grind.

And I admired Philip, so there.

I admired him too

Samcro · 11/03/2025 12:43

why do posters call her "markle" seems rather childish. do you call Kate "middleton"

It’s appalling. ‘It’s Sussex now’, as we all know.

BobbyBiscuits · 11/03/2025 13:43

He wouldn't have been able to just declare himself 'out' of the RF and the public eye in the UK. He wouldn't get left alone and his cries for 'privacy' would be hard for people to swallow, having funded his privileged life since before birth.

British people kind of feel like they own the royals and second in line to the throne can't just bail.

So he'd still be part of it all if he still lived here. He wouldn't be able to earn money in any other way for starters because we all know he's not a bright artist, businessman or great academic brain.

Edited

Nonsense. He got LOADS of support when he left. And if he did what he said he was gonna do - get a job a lay low - nobody would have cared or wanted him back. But they didn’t do that. They proceeded to lie, grift, air their dirty laundry in public and be litigious against anyone who spoke out. THATS the part that bothers people

Do you think Lili and Archie will ever meet their cousins and wider family?
Will they ever go to Sandringham or Balmoral?
Will they attend any celebrations or funerals etc?

It's going to be so odd for them if they grow up without any contact or experience of the British RF.

They'll just watch from afar, no connection, but with these anachronistic titles.

Also trying to make sense of how their parents became estranged from family on both sides. Will they accept the family narrative that their parents were innocent victims or will they make their own judgement as they get older?

I suppose it depends on their characters. They live in a place where status is everything and heritage is also held dear. They may want to explore it!

Oh dear how embarrassing that you’ve swallowed lies spread by Twitter with no evidence.

Where did you hear he had a bad temper?

Shame on you. I have personal experience of Prince Phillip’s kindness and generosity in a very private capacity.

shame on you

Not to mention their “friend” (Bousby?) who is basically the king of the Sussex Squad appearing on their Netflix doc to say “I happened to have looked at the stats and everyone in the world is bullying Meghan” 🙄 amazing the results you get when you pay good money

You’re one of these people who think any chat about skin colour is racist then.

Im from an Italian family, DH’s granny was Palestinian. We all wondered what skin colour our babies would be, as both families have a really differing mix.

The Wales kids seem really sweet so that's a loss for the Sussex kids. And since none of the Markles are still in touch, they have no first cousins at all to grow up with. I'm sure they will start asking questions one day.

BestDIL · 11/03/2025 15:17

In an ordinary family, this could be fixed but the fact that Harry and Meghan went public with their grievances has probably put paid to any kind of reconciliation. I don't have an opinion on H&M themselves

CoffeeCantata · 11/03/2025 15:25

I reckon Harry was always insanely jealous of William, especially after he married Kate and started having DC. Markle gave him fuel due to her own desire to be top dog, over Kate.

I agree. And Meghan was/is insanely jealous of Catherine.

This is at the root of all the trouble.

I should imagine that Williams is angry and hurt on his own behalf and deeply angry and hurt on behalf of Catherine. Harry and Meghan have done irreparable damage to both their families and to themselves and they will have to live with the consequences.
