Someone on X has advised (seriously) that we take notes as we watch. I have terrible trouble with my memory thanks to the menopause so will do as advised.

Obviously it will take me a while to write all the notes to complete the rainbow but once finished I will happily photocopy the instructions and post to whoever would like them .

The PR seems to be working. The show has not even debuted yet. The head of Netflix tweeted a while back something along the lines that love her or hate her people will watch her.

It's all coming across as so daft. And anyway, anyone can call themselves Sussex. Whoopi fucking doo.

I really like the pyjama look - probably because it is how I dress a lot if the time. It is so comfortable. And I also like the other look in People where Meghan is wearing jeans and oversized white shirt. Lovely cut on the shirt.

Depends what you mean by working.

People are talking about her, mockingly. That doesn't necessarily translate to views or subscribers for the show, or product sales. Indeed fact on the latter it's unlikely to - people won't "hate" buy a product.

Indeed the early reviews so far make it sound dull as dishwater. If it is that bland then it won't even get many "hate" watches - I'll wait for the critical reviews and pick up any interesting bits from that and I suspect many others will be similar (though I'm sure episode one will get high viewing volumes)

I don't like the fabric of the pyjamas, I think pinstripe is a jarring choice for a casual cut. But Meghan has always looked good in a white shirt and jeans and mostly does casual dressing really well. If she brings out a fashion line she would do well to stick to casual.

I'm still not planning to watch it, I'm up early to do my Tesco Easter delivery slot booking.

From the sneek peeks and interview clips the person who is coming across as vacuous is Mindy. If I do watch a bit it will mostly to see what she has to say because I think the over the top compliments are really strange in an accomplished woman, and I want to see Meghan rolling her eyes at her!

So she’s meeting around 20 fans…that in the video, she says have supported her and the Tig. THE TIG! For a decade. It closed down 8 years ago? Eh?

Then you see these young white girls who are barely in their 20s. So she’s actually saying, she’s meeting people who were 12 years old following a food and travel blog of a woman in her 30s, when they last followed the Tig….8 years ago?!

Why is she trying to make the Tig happen?, why did she travel to NY for such a cringe event with a tiny fan base ( also very white and blond)? Why is she acting so immature?

She’s literally doing an influencer meet n greet. It’s beyond sad

There's film on her Instagram this nothing of a screening with "people who've supported her for ten years". No idea who they are but maybe she does have a core friendship group. It would be nice because she and Harry always seem very isolated.

These people were all kids 10 years ago? WTF is she talking about. The event is very cringe. Fake tattoos, Tig wine etc.

There’s genuinely some girls there that look like teens and too young to drink. Followed her for a decade my arse.

These are the teeny boppers that PR have told her to smooze so they make positive Tik Toks about her show and products.

Also - what a weird choice given that As Ever / ARO seems to all barefoot mommas, baking etc - not exactly the same demographic as 20-something city girls.

Pyjamas? if you don't have anywhere to go or a job to go to, it's fine. If you're cutting up fruit, choosing flowers and wafting across a lawn, it's appropriate wear.
Not if you have to go out to work, deal with people and present well.

I'm so old, had no idea it was an influencer meet and greet! But that is the world she is in now, however much she hates being called an influencer, and she needs to play by the rules.

She went all the way to NY for that? Why not do it in Cali if she really has to.
