The more I think about it, I don't think she cooks much at all. I'm no Galloping Gourmet but from the way she was cutting the onion and fruit, she just seemed really tentative, and from the way she poured the pancake mixture into the pan , I'd bet she's never cooked one in her life before.

She seems confused as to whether she was a latchkey microwave meals kid. Or she grew up eating Doris’s home cooked soul food.

I cannot believe how amateur the website and products are. Surely a roast chicken seasoning- or gumbo seasoning?! If they were in any way a reality why doesn’t she share those recipes?? As a person from a minority background I do have to say, the fact that she cannot offer a single recipe confidently, that relates to her much touted heritage and life story…is odd/mad/unbelievable.

As an aside, when she says NF are her business partner, I suspect they say they will sell the products in their new stores, in exchange for first dibs to give some exclusivity for anyone silly enough to pay $25 dollars for a box of pancake mix. That’s the only conceivable reason as to why she has launched a brand with no products. AGAIN.

Okay so I’ve seen that she has brought store bought croissants and pretzels and ‘elevated’ them with some decorative sprigs of mint and edible flowers. Are you fucking kidding me? 🤦🏼‍♀️

BUT…….she magically has cake mixes to sell for that, so she puts no care and effort into the actual baking (because she can’t bake). She wants to sell you the easy way out and so you spend all your time faffing with tiny flowers for the decoration.

I am really curious about what life is like in their house. A huge echoing mansion with a housekeeper I presume and possibly a cook, along with a live in nanny and gardeners etc. security staff living on site too. No family apart from Doria and few genuine friends. Neither of the parents doing a proper job. What a very odd way to live.

I doubt she cooks at all. All the wealthy Americans have chefs, I’ve seen a few on Instagram, some of the food does look amazing but all they are doing is cooking and shopping for food.
No way is she spending hours every day slaving over a hot stove.
