She used to attended public social events with H&M - cant remember the last one? She always comes across as classy and calm - I wonder how she deals with it all? Think she had a tough enoughh time in her early marriage to an older man with difficult teenage step children. Do we know if she remarried or had a partner after Thomas?

This is exactly what I referred to on another thread. A poster said that MM was fame-hungry and could have just retreated into a quiet life, getting on with things and would be left alone.
Even when she is under the radar/not seen for a while or in this case, her mum, who to my knowledge has never courted publicity, there's always this kind of thread appearing.
You want them to have a quiet life and yet, when Doris tries to, it's questioned.

Very respectful when you can't even be bothered to get her name correct.

So what she hasn't been seen? She's hardly Mother of the future Queen! Why can't she live a quiet life, enjoying her grandchildren, and doing her thing whilst being private.

Think of any celebrity and then think when did you last see their mother? or father, for that matter? Where is Brad Pitt's mother? Julia Roberts' mother? Sabrina Carpenter's mother? (obvs, Taylor's mother and father are home growing Christmas trees ASAP for next Christmas)

Probably, like Carole and the mothers of hundreds of other 'celebrities', Doria is just trying to live her life.

Just because she was photographed looking friendly with Kris Jenner, it doesn’t mean that she’s anything like KJ. Meghan and her mum probably get along well because she’s not an embarrassing figure trying to get media attention like Kate’s Uncle Gary or the Markles.

Doria has been at a tiny number of events with her daughter. The last one I can find is May 2023. So going to an event every few years with her daughter means you want the right to speculate over her private life and criticise her?

I cant see anyone criticising her and I my intention was not to encourage any negative speculation. I was / am curious about her - I think she has led an interesting life and comes across as wise, dignified and calm. I asked when she was last seen in public and someone provided that info.

She does have a public profile - think she attended a royal visit (Grenfell cookbook?) with MM before they left the RF? She also made quite a significant contribution to the H&M Netflix docuseries where I thought she came across as compassionate and gentle. Maybe she has since made a conscious effort to retreat from public life or maybe she will feature again in WLM?

I am curious about her as married and had a child young with an older man and that marriage failed - so I hope she had support and a good life after.

She is a private individual. A retired qualified social worker. She should not be the subject of rumours and speculation.
