@JoyousGreyOrca The attacks of Doria in the past on MN were clearly motivated by racism.
Neither I nor anyone else on this thread from what I recall has attacked Doria, never mind said anything racist about her.
| am not white, nor am I a racist, so I hope you are not ascribing racist motivations towards me.
I haven't been posting on RF long enough to know what happened "in the past" (whatever time in the past you are referring to) or during the wedding, but I have barely seen any mention of her in my time reading this board ( a year or so).
Your confident assertions about Doria somewhat bely your other assertions that she's a private person. Either you know her personally, or you know about her because her information is in the public sphere, put there by her or her people. And/or you are in the same position as everyone else - knowing the odd bit of info from here and there, but otherwise not knowing much about her at all. At one point on this thread you were confidently asserting she was the "boss" of a company and linking a to a website of hers. Then getting angry that a couple of basic searches shows she is not the boss of a functioning company. So I don't think you can confidently assert anything about her any more than anyone else can.
She has a company website, a Wikipedia page, is presence in both her daughter's Netflix projects (a vocal presence in one of them) and makes numerous public appearances with her daughter and other public figures. Whether you like it or not, all of this has thrust Doria into the very public profile her daughter currently occupies. You are wholly unrealistic to think nobody should be interested in her, when it is a natural consequence. And since her daughter has made such statements in her latest series as, "I was a latch-key kid" and, "My mom was a travel agent so we travelled a lot", then people are going to have renewed curiosity - all fueled my Meghan's words.
I haven't seen a single poster say she shouldn't have attended her daughter's wedding. Quite the opposite, she seems to have been considered a star of the proceedings. I have seen posters expressing pity that other relatives on Doria's side weren't there.
I find your level of anger disproportionate to the discussion in this thread.
