I kind of agree with you here.
I'm by no means a fan of these two, but surely there's only a certain amount of criticism and flack that a person can take before they start to become rather unwell.
It seems that this latest brand roll out is full of problems yet again that are going to weigh heavily on her. But then my logical brain tells me why or why did she not do this properly and be guided by the professionals who are well versed in how this all works?
My underlying take from witnessing the events surrounding this couple over the past few years is that they simply do not think things through in a steady and enduring manner. But it becomes so perplexing to fathom why and how they are where they are when they had exposure to top flight professionals (especially at the beginning of their break from the UK and the royal family) who could have guided them to some platform of success that could have been built upon for the future.
The problem is hugely magnified when there is one mistake after the next and an amateurish approach to so much that they do.
Then it is compounded with the faux royal tours that just leads to more ridicule and questions of who and what are they trying to be? Especially when they are visiting some fairly dubious countries where the benefit of them doing a royal tour really is not apparent to the wider audience.
In my mind it just encapsulates exactly what the late Queen thought in the half in half out approach simply doesn't work.
But I then come full circle back to the fact that they would have been given substantial advice, especially in the beginning, by significant players in the business of how to capitalise on their position and actually build something solid and relatable but it would all have taken time.
The problem is they are now in such a weak position and completely tarnished by so much negativity I simply cannot see a way forward that has any resemblence to what they aspire to be.
