@LunaNorth, you mentioned being interested in what Meghan does to stay so slim and young looking etc, I don't think us mere mortals have either the time or money to aspire to that. At least I don't unfortunately.

Being married to Harry is both a gift and a curse from a business point of view. She’s had a helpful leg up, but will always be held to higher standards than she’s capable of achieving.

She might have done better being an unknown, starting her kitchen table business as the likes of Jo Malone or Carole Middleton did, and developing it in the privacy of her own home until it was good enough to bring to market.

This is one area where I do have sympathy, she will never be able to make her mistakes undiscovered the way the rest of us do. But then, a quiet life as an unknown was not her dream.

I remember reading an interview with famous model Natalia Vodianova where she spoke about how she believed in having a treat every now and again - so every weekend she and her daughter would buy and share a croissant. And I realised that that self-restraint is one of the many, many reasons why she is a supermodel, and I am not. 😀

Also, @Ohpleeeease , she's a very controversial figure. The victimhood and mendacity is not a good look, especially when you're trying to sell a lifestyle brand.

If they'd have shown a bit of class and dignity and kept all their gripes to themselves they could have been well regarded stars in the US. However all their trashy soap opera oversharing has sadly made them figures of ridicule.

I can't think of anything that they could do now to regain any credibility whatsoever. H hanging on to the coat tails of the very respected vets works for the length of the IG but then he's back to being a waster moaning and trying to be a VIP.

Indeed. I remember reading an interview with a model who recommended (for those times when you fancy cheesecake or something) just taking one bite.
Or Jennifer Aniston (I think) saying she can eat just 1 M&M or 1 crisp/chip.
But they're people whose business isn't based on the assumption that they enjoy preparing and indulging in good food.

The thing is, it wasn't a media leak at all.

It was some super sleuth on Reddit who claimed to be suspicious of the 'as ever' sign offs and started searching, found the trademark applications, the delaware address, then found what looked to be the test shopify account, and posted it with all the details (maybe a disgruntled employee leaked it). This is a whole different ballgame to being able to contain a media leak.

It was even posted on Mumsnet (where most of us thought it was a spoof0 before it hit any of the media outlets.

I'm confused about where the actual stock is. Is there a warehouse somewhere with people sticking labels onto someone else's products? Wonder what the working conditions are like.

The flip side to that level of scrutiny is that she gets opportunities that no one else would. NF giving them a contract when they has zero experience. Spotify the same. If she just listened to the experts, she may have had half a chance.

Keep telling yourself these lies. She is a beautiful, rich, well connected woman that has a lovely family, a lovely California mansion and looks much younger than her age. I don't know about you, but that screams aspirational to me. Irrespective of how well these businesses ventures will do, she has been able to land incredible contracts and opportunities. You have a giant like Netflix investing in her new business venture, I am not sure you realise how big this is.
Same could be said for Harry(are you aware that the invictus games have been attended by Trudeau , royalty from other countries and so on?).
As it has been said previously ,no amount of pettiness, creating bashful treads on a daily basis, regurgitating nonsense from the daily mail will change this. I would also argue that you are actually helping with putting money in her pockets.

Well, she's certainly rich and well connected, that's what marriage to a member if the Royal Family will do for you.

Be honest @LipglossAlly , would Meghan have achieved anything like Netflix or a Californian mansion had it not been for her connection to the evil RF ? Seriously ?
She was mid/ late 30s when she married Harry and hadn’t exactly set the heather on fire with her acting career so the chances of her suddenly being the next Julia Roberts were slim to zero.
Good on her for trying and hustling but let’s not pretend her fame is to do with talent .

To be fair, she was rich and well connected even prior to meeting Harry( believe me, if that wasn't the case she would not have been in Harry's s orbit).

She didn’t own her own house or car so 🤷‍♀️
