Meghan has renamed her luxury lifestyle brand 'As Ever'.

'As Ever essentially means as it's always been, and if you've followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know I've always loved cooking and crafting and gardening — this is what I do,' she said. '

Is it really being suggested that Harry and Meghan who are paying hundreds of thousands in PR in both the states and Europe are doing so to enjoy the negativity that surrounds them and to play trolling. It makes no sense whatsoever, if everything is rosy why do the have people magazine on speed dial.

If they are, then they have a mental age of about 14.

The reality is that none of their grandiose plans have panned out, so now, 5 years after finding freedom, she's back trying to flog tat that nobody needs.

"Unhinged hatred "
See my post from earlier! 🙄

Gowlett · 18/02/2025 17:20

The thing with “jam is my jam” is that she clearly doesn’t eat jam. Or bagels. Or cake. Or ice cream.

At least in Gwynnie says “here’s a recipe for courgetti”. Admits to eating pasta only when in Italy.

DuchessDissasster · 18/02/2025 17:20

Derailing again from the Montecito mess ....

Snorlaxo · 18/02/2025 17:20

Many celebrities use People magazine to basically issue press releases or positive press about themselves. Print media is in severe decline hence People accepting stories from whoever wants them. Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are WME clients and regular stories on People so I suspect that it’s standard PR procedure in America.

Uricon2 · 18/02/2025 17:21

Few years ago, I saw a very unflattering picture of Christine Keeler carrying her shopping home, she'd been papped in the street. I thought it was awful.

I reserve my sympathy for people like her who end up splattered in the papers when their fame was from decades ago and pretty much all they've done since is try to get by quietly, not those who are actively seeking publicity for the $$$ but can't cope with any criticism.

Anyone who has been reading or contributing to these threads for a while will remember how in the very early days of Megxit posters rumbled their visit to Canada House as a ruse to get visas secured in readiness for a flit. Posters correctly deduced that the Sussexes would use their trip to Canada to move onward to the US, specifically California.

Accusing posters of hatred and trolling is missing what these threads do, which is to watch events unfold, and anticipate (often correctly) what might happen next.

Huh.

@BunnyLake it has had zero impact. What impact has it had? They are out and about enjoying their life. The British Media is always blindsided about who their friends are who they are spending time with and where they are going. What is clear, they have a wall of protection around them in terms of their friends who know anything about them.

Every nonsense news the British Media gets is "a source". Never a named source. A source who makes up nonsense and people feed off it as if it is reality.

The bemusement and amusement are really about those who irrationally hate. It is such an amusement and bemusement that it is a subject of critical analysis. The hatred is so unhinged and driven by misinformation, fake news, etc. The story of our times. A real robust example in how media driven misinformation and hate campaigns can mushroom.

But look, I have my views on the sort of people who peddle and invest in hate and the haters will swear blind they are not haters - that they are simply criticising and scrutinising and bemused and amused.

Each to their own. Enjoy whatever you doing and hopefully, for you, they will divorce one day, their kids will be proven to be fake, they will have no friends, and Netflix and whoever else will drop them. They will then become penniless and crawl back to the UK begging to be liked and they will spend the rest of their days trying to be popular with the British public. In the meantime, Meghan will become very ugly and Harry will run off and marry one of his ex-girlfriends.

Then you will be pleased and live happily ever after. The end!

Snorlaxo · 18/02/2025 17:22

The Sussexes would make more money if they embraced their infamy rather then try and create a squeaky clean innocent image as if they were still royals in the UK.

Janiie · 18/02/2025 17:22

'So many years have passed. The hatred is getting boring. Harry and Meghan have the British Media and their haters like puppets. If she farts, 1 million articles over the next month will be written analysing the force, the smell, the distance and on and on and on.'

So what? They keep doing silly things so they attract attract. Seek it you might say.

I know her posts are funny but likening them to farts is a bit unkind.

Uricon2 · 18/02/2025 17:23

I have my views on people over the age of 14 who use the word "haters" in this context.

IcedPurple · 18/02/2025 17:23

Has there ever been a poster who has announced that they're 'done' who doesn't turn out to be not quite done?

BunnyLake · 18/02/2025 17:23

Grimshadylady · 18/02/2025 17:13

Really, gosh that's not what the evidence shows. I've spent several minutes engaging on this and I feel exhausted and that I have wasted my time. Open up the DailyMail and there are about a zillion articles and the comments are in the thousands. Everywhere you turn today, the media of all types have article upon article analysing the same thing. Go on X and the same people going nuts. This is just not normal. It just isn't a normal way of scrutinising and criticising. It is a very evident obsession and is a "Thing" and has been a "Thing" for some people for years.

I don't want to get dragged into this nonsense so that's me done on this. I generally give this Meghan bashing a wide berth but was curious what the hullabaloo was this time. I did a search and realise all online newspapers are talking about a video that a woman in the US, who left the UK many years ago, did (and the video is not even aimed at the UK as we are probably not her target audience).

Exhausted? Give over 😂

GlitchStitch · 18/02/2025 17:23

But it is not scrutiny and criticism. It is just relentless unhinged hatred. No matter how you want to package it, it is clear. It is one track, unbalanced vitriol from the same crowd, over and over and over again. Its the same ole, same ole criticisms.

You must be thinking of the Sussex Squad, who were posting all over the internet that William had murdered Catherine and other actually hateful things. Including a man who was a prominent guest on H and M's Netflix series, spreading lies about body doubles posing as Catherine and implying she lied about her surgery and diagnosis.

Sniggering at self inflicted failures of someone who actively seeks out publicity is not the same thing.

Janiie · 18/02/2025 17:24

My worst one was a picture of Bridget Fonda! Totally unnecessary, stating she was unrecognisable! , obviously she doesn't look the same 30 odd years later!! 😡

Where is the evidence of them doing PR in the UK? The woman don't even care to visit. They are making ZERO attempts to "win back the public". No even a faint attempt.

You wish they would care but they don't. If even Harry cared, he would not be doing half the antagonistic things he is doing. They are constantly trolling and laughing at the negativity. Taking digs at their haters whenever they can.

Seriously folks, stop wasting your time.

The talking points haven't changed since pre Covid times.

It's all about the British Media, with capital letters. 5 years on, that is still the story. They give a few tabloids with collapsing circulations way more credit than they deserve.

You're really taking it all too personally. Unless you're Meghan it’s really not about you so take a chill pill as they say and stop getting yourself in a twist about it. H&M are cringe comedy at it’s finest and if I want to laugh at them and think they’re a couple of clowns I jolly well will.

I don’t want them to divorce. They are well suited and should not inflict themselves on others.

The unkind stuff in the US can ALWAYS be linked back to the UK. The UK media is constantly paying people to write stupid negative articles and people the world over knows it. It is too predictable now.

The US does not care enough to run a hate campaign against them. They are not that important. Only the UK is obsessed to the heavens with them.

From part of the As Ever application, note the first line.

"G & S: IC 035: Retail store services and online retail store services featuring a wide variety of consumer goods of others"

Nothing original. She's just a Montecito Temu.

Bringing together, for the benefit of others 😂
What a true heroine she is. Not looking to make a single penny, it’s all for everyone else’s benefit.
