Seems to me that Meghan and Harry are doing well for the people that really counts? Am I missing something? People going crazy with their loud criticisms, spamming websites with their negative comments are just wasting their time because no one cares. All you are doing is creating more publicity for them. Everyone expects the British Media and those who do not like her to complain bitterly. So these extreme vexation at her and Harry are factored in and expected. That is why the complaining and criticising of her are pointless now because it is now expected.

The trouble with that is genuine criticism will have no impact and will just get lost in the whole unhinged demonisation of Meghan.

I'm not sure any of the posters on here are obsessed or hate them; it's just fascinating and amusing to watch 2 people with all that privelige, wealth and adulation cock it up so badly..
If they came across differently then the responses would be more symathetic.

You might not believe it but people aren’t pausing their lives to dedicate it to roasting Meghan and Harry. They could be sitting on the toilet or on a train journey or there’s an ad break watching tv and just whiling away a few minutes here and there on SM. Her detractors can have families, holidays to exotic places, parties to go to. They're not sitting in an empty room rocking back and forth. I’m popping on here when I get exasperated with my knitting and need a bit of a breather 😁

But it is not scrutiny and criticism. It is just relentless unhinged hatred. No matter how you want to package it, it is clear. It is one track, unbalanced vitriol from the same crowd, over and over and over again. Its the same ole, same ole criticisms.

The thing is, it has zero impact. The same crowd keeps whipping each other up in this massive echo chamber thinking that the rest of the world cares or hates them with the same intensity. Far from it, they seem to be doing very well from the hatred directed at them.

The "scrutiny and criticism" has been going on for YEARS and have resulted in nada. Just more publicity and money for them.

They are still married and probably will remain married longer than those who constantly wait in expectation for a divorce. They are millionaires and probably will continue being millionaires whilst you and I can only dream about wealth like theirs. They are still breathing, walking about, enjoying time with friends, laughing with their kids, enjoying parenthood, etc. They will have their ups and downs just like you and me.

So many years have passed. The hatred is getting boring. Harry and Meghan have the British Media and their haters like puppets. If she farts, 1 million articles over the next month will be written analysing the force, the smell, the distance and on and on and on.

Anyone who has been reading or contributing to these threads for a while will remember how in the very early days of Megxit posters rumbled their visit to Canada House as a ruse to get visas secured in readiness for a flit. Hyperbolic words, backed up by nada. Amusement/bemusement at recent developments is very far from unhinged, hatred, unbalanced or vitriol.

There is indeed some truly deranged stuff directed at all members of the RF online, but it isn't on this board.

Really, gosh that's not what the evidence shows. I've spent several minutes engaging on this and I feel exhausted and that I have wasted my time. Open up the DailyMail and there are about a zillion articles and the comments are in the thousands. Everywhere you turn today, the media of all types have article upon article analysing the same thing. Go on X and the same people going nuts. This is just not normal. It just isn't a normal way of scrutinising and criticising. It is a very evident obsession and is a "Thing" and has been a "Thing" for some people for years.

I don't want to get dragged into this nonsense so that's me done on this. I generally give this Meghan bashing a wide berth but was curious what the hullabaloo was this time. I did a search and realise all online newspapers are talking about a video that a woman in the US, who left the UK many years ago, did (and the video is not even aimed at the UK as we are probably not her target audience).
