I was actually kicked off a discussion board after i commented that I hadn't reaised she wasn't white.
I never understood why so if you know, could you tell me why it's racist to say that? ( obviously I don't think it is or wouldn't have said that but was hoping you had an insight!)

Maybe. I don't know much about the lives of the rich and famous tbf. I would imagine it's not so easy as just going about your lives though if you are richer/more famous than them - true A listers pay for that security/privacy, surely? No idea how much but Elton John or George Clooneys, say, must have security detail on their kiddies?

Is she really getting money from it though? Everything she does bombs so where are the big bucks coming from? Besides, Harry is a multi millionaire.

I've only known of one famous person who has made his 'security' into a matter for public discussion, and that's Harry. Other celebrities are wise enough to be highly discreet about such matters.

As for going about their lives, A listers manage to get married, have babies, go on holiday without anyone knowing. Has anyone seen a photo of Margot Robbie's baby for example? And she lives in LA without any fuss.

I honestly don't know either but I've seen various threads and boards where people have been flamed for their lack of awareness and positioning anyone who would be marrying into the royal family as not being of colour. Because it's viewing things through a white lens or some such 'you only don't like Meghan because she is black' nonsense.

I think they're stuck in the Diana era, when paps really were a menace. But nowadays the laws are much stricter, at least in England, and with camera phones and social media there's no real money to be made in random photos of celebrities walking down the street. And it's not like these two are the most famous or popular people in California by any stretch of the imagination.

Ok I'm going to try to make a short explanation from my point of view , ive been on here for years and until recently the sure fast way to shut down any criticism of Meghan ( and Harry bizarrely!) was to shout racism at any poster who said anything negative at all ( even when that poster was in fact a poc themselves) this worked well.
The other one is to call anyone not favourable a " hater" . That's all I can safely say.

The racism accusations were absolutely relentless. No other argument, no recognition that is was their behaviour that was the issue. Look at how the preening pair perform now, it is absolutely understandable to see how they would have pushed for their own way in the Royal Family.

They received the same scrutiny and negativity as everyone else in the rf. Look at poor Catherine and the 'where is she?' Hysteria. The rest of them have just dealt with it all with a bit of dignity.
