Yes best wishes to a wonderful couple who made a career out of throwing hate at his entire fanily and are now making a fortune in jam. They are thriving and glowing from the millions theyve made acting like a pair of tabloid reporters. Tis a truly beautiful thing. Lets hope they keep shining their lights through their selectively authentic lenses.

I thought she said in the video that she'd "secured the name" in 2022, @Atlusvue, unless securing it now means something else?

You are right in saying they shouldn't care what any of us think. Could they and their kids have lived on Harry's inheritance without the need for Spare or hand-outs from Dad? You and I could, sure, but we don't have to pay out thousands for security. I think that was always going to be a spoke in the wheel.

I agree, and while I'm not a Meghan basher, the phrase "as ever" conjures up in my mind the phrase "same old same old". I think an extra few days spent thinking about this would have been productive.

Perhaps. I'm not sure. Even when either appears to be under the radar/not out in public for ages, there's loads of threads on here, gossip on the net, newspaper reports for clickbait...it doesn't stop. So a retreat from public life Greta Garbo stylee, following lockdown, would only have worked if the public interest in them had wained.
It never appears to wain in quieter periods.
And they'd still need security wherever they were, I'd think, that they have to fund themselves. I don't know how much the cheapest of that costs.

I have to agree.
There's a lot of far more important stuff going on in the world right now. It seems so petty to be zeroing in on this.

If they'd admitted they just wanted to be rich and didn't care about changing the world and all that guff, then I don't think people would have cared. But in any case, when you're famous, someone is always going to disapprove of your choices. That goes with the territory, so it's not about 'winning'.

I'm not convinced the security needs of the 5th in line and his influencer wife are as great as Harry wants us to believe. But they chose to live in a sprawling mansion in one of most exclusive towns in California, so clearly they feel they can afford it.

She really should have shown one of her products in the video. If it's only two weeks away, surely they have products ready? Once again, we really don't know what she's going to sell and what the 'angle' will be.

My guess is it's going to be generic produce just relabelled with her name. But who knows? Again, it's very incoherent. I would have thought NF's involvement would make the launch more professional, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Can you imagine if they'd gone to live in a cheap villa in Mexico or a hut in Botswana? You know full well, the paps would be onto that like flies on shit. It's bad enough when they fat-shame ex celebs or work-shame ex actors doing "normal" jobs. I agree with you fwiw - go and find somewhere nice and try to disappear/live as normally as you can with the money you have - but Greta wrote of being painfully lonely. In response to people saying where's the philanthropy, she has bills to pay, so this kind of show is where she gets her money now. I'm sure it doesn't mean she's given up on any humanitarian or philosophical work.

"Paps" aren't really a thing the way they used to be.

People far more famous and popular than these two somehow manage to go about their lives without worrying too much about 'paps' and the opinions of randoms on the internet.

Many, many famous people are never "papped".
H&M were never papped in the UK.
