Why is Meghan on the stage ?

I have delivered a lot of speeches in my time and never felt the need to have my husband standing adoringly beside me .

Look I am no Meghan fan but she often appears with Harry at the Games and their first outing as a couple was at Invictus. She's always there at the events and presenting medals. Yes it was originally his pet project, but it's now something that they do together.

Because they move together like salt and pepper. Except when they don't...!

The introducing and bigging up of her husband was a bit cringe and using it to illustrate how important he is weird. That is not normal or appropriate

Harry looks rough, I don't think he is immune at all to the criticism and hostility they receive, she can brazen it out but he doesn't look like he can.

They could always leave the US to find a friendlier media landscape and to get away from the US media. Their image and reputation has never been as bad as it has been since they moved to the USA

Shame they continue to bring so much negativity wherever they go, it is, sadly, having a very real impact on Invictus.

I always think she looks disingenuous when she does this, I always have done since he made a speech in Australia and she was holding the umbrella gazing into his eyes. Pretty sure was capable of holding the umbrella himself!

funny how people complain that Meghan us taking away attention from the participants.......and then start/post on threads talking about her being there.
I guess if she wasn't there threads would pop up saying where is she.....

Not sure about that . We have heard so much about different brands . Meghan wasn’t involved with Polo , Harry isn’t involved with her hostessing show .
Invictus is about the Veterans not Meghan and Meghan’s outfits . Of course the newspapers are also at fault for publishing photos.
We know a few Veterans and they all feel H and M detract from such a worthy cause.
As for starting threads , why not ? It’s a valid question just as those asking who is picking up the bill for the private jet and luxury hotel .

Hopefully they’ll have absorbed the criticism from last time, with the inappropriateness of MM - as a non-veteran and also fuck all to do with Invictus - leading a parade. But looks like she’s positioning herself front and centre. Again.

They do leave their very young children a lot don't they? Unusual for both parents to be constantly jetting off to places.
