Why is Meghan on the stage ?

It reminds me of stand up comics introducing themselves from the wings before coming on stage. If Harry needs an introduction it should be given by a representative of the charity, ideally the chair of the trustees.

I've just seen the instagram video which popped up unexpectedly. Gosh. I could only watch the first 30 seconds before my chin hit the floor and I had to move on. Who the fuck does she think she is??? And before anyone yells the DofS - that's a meaningless handle when you consider the Invictus veterans. Watching that 30 seconds of game-show host intro ("Well, helloooo you! Hello everybody! How're we feeling!! Now, I wasn't planning on speaking tonight"....etc etc 🤢🤮) has made me come down off the fence at last.....

I don't think anyone has broken that to her yet.

That is such a grim speech .... all about how fabulous Harry is....it should have been about the competitors - she didnt mention them once....apart from telling them what she needed them to know about Harry. Grandiose. Self Serving.

She also didn't mention any of the Invictus team who are the ones who put it all together.

If she wasn't there, I would praise her for at last reading the public mood.
