Why is Meghan on the stage ?

I'm only going off the photos that have been published in the Mail. Clearly they've picked the moments showing Harry looking disinterested in Meghan.
But....really telling is the people all around them. Smiling normally or just resting faces, theirs and Harry's expressions all match. Meghan however is like she's at a different show entirely, all big excited grin or flopped over sad face. Weird .

Just like David Brent, she moves a woman in a wheelchair, by the looks of it without her consent. The woman is dancing and Megan, for some weird reason, starts to pull her back!!!!!

I think the expressions of the woman in the wheelchair and the folk in the background show clearly their thoughts on the pantomime.

She just hasn't learned anything the photo of her with her head on his shoulder (not unlike one the Wales' published several months ago) and grabbing his face to kiss him are just so cringey and completely inappropriate

What I don’t understand why no one says anything to her at the time? If someone manoeuvred me out of the way then they’d soon know about it!

Has anyone asked her if she's OK, because she looks deranged. This inability to refrain from inserting herself into the middle of everything is really, really peculiar behaviour. She would have been better off staying at home and doing pretty flower arranging films for her Insta to promote her sappy trad-wife programme, rather than hijacking her husband's project in this bizarre manner. Who wants their face grabbing like that by their spouse at a work do? Twice.

OK - she most likely lives in a bubble of yes-people - that I can believe. So here she is again doing the very thing which makes so many people dislike her.

But on the other hand, they've had such bad press over the last year that surely it must have got through to her? Even Meghan must have done a bit of self-reflection?

If I had to boil down my advice to her it would be: get out of the limelight, step back from the mic, just sit quietly in the background and stop grinning and gurning all the time. And stop being fake, fake, fake. And Meghan - no-one at Invictus cares about your kids, their lunchboxes or your relationship with your husband.

I find myself saying 'poor Harry' more and more often. His head must be destroyed, one week he discovers his wife is shopping around for a deal on a divorce book, the following week she is performing a teenager in love routine for the public. She is either high as a kite regularly or really is mentally ill.

At the Invictus event a couple of years ago (can't remember the official title) she was waltzing through the crowds, eyes on the camera, when she came across a child in a wheelchair. She bobbed down beside him, grinning for the film camera, without either interacting with him or his family or acknowledging them in any way and then - up she jumped and went gaily on her way, spreading joy everywhere among the afflicted.

It was shocking to watch - utter, utter callous self-centredness and empathy failure. The boy was merely a convenient prop for her image - not so much there and then, but in the film to come where you can tell she thought the scenario would look just great!

I'm no Diana-worshipper, but I can imagine how differently Diana would have behaved in this context. The most restrained comment I can make about Meghan is that she's a total piece of work. I am baffled by anyone who STILL cannot see this.

Why is she there? Because it's one of the times when she can play "adored royal".

I do remember that clip @CoffeeCantata it was almost like she didn't notice there was a person in the wheelchair or people around her, no acknowledgement or interaction, in the same way you would stand beside a monument for a photo and move on.

I hope Harry gets his divorce book in first, I think that will be the real exposé.

Are there no scheduled flights they could have taken ? I thought it was only in the nasty UK they weren’t safe ?
Where are the Veterans staying ? The other officials ?

If the last set of audited accounts is anything to go by, it wasn’t the charity. I seem to remember talk of “private donations” last year, so possibly that. As long as Invictus isn’t footing the bill for any of their nonsense, I’m not bothered if some other fool is happy to be parted with their money,

It reflects very very poorly on Harry that he allows her to make this charity a vehicle for her own self interest in such a blatant way. He should be ashamed of himself.

I haven't seen an video of the events and obviously the tabloids will choose photos where they look out of sync. Having said all that, Meghan looks uncomfortable in the stills. Just thinking about the kiss alone, why is she having his face with both hands, I don't think I've seen her do that before and it looks performative.

I know she is an actress but she never seems at ease on these occasions. Maybe that's why her speech was all about Harry and the kids, it's what she is comfortable with?

She has obviously been watching h the old episode of friends where Susan Sarandon (?) shows Joey how to kiss holding the other person’s face to keep the focus on them .
In nearly 40 years I can’t recall kissing or being kissed like that by my husband .
If I can drag myself out of bed I might try it . Have to extricate him for his newspaper first !

Meghan is making a holy show of both herself and her husband. Someone really needs to tell her to butt out and to take side stage. The way she is acting just seems to be a continuation of the excitable teen type behaviour we saw earlier in the week on her instagram.

PH’s head looks like it has checked out, he quite often looks numb and a shell of his former self and she looks like she has taken too much of something.
