I was musing last night about this aspect - they had the world at their feet. Despite what Sussex Supporters like to suggest most people in the UK nodded their heads " yes it was lovely Harry was getting married finally" . I had never heard of the bride myself as I don't watch American tv shows of that ilk. She was black or biracial? It didn't even enter my head what colour she was initially and then as coverage started it didn't make one iota of difference one way or the other. I recall the day of the wedding - it was sunny and the pubs were full of royal cheer broadcasting the wedding.

And then it all started to where we are today.

Are there any other couples in the world who have gone through such a downfall? Is this a feature of the social media arena today?
We see P Diddy and Blake Lively and others exposed now through SM.
You can't count the Duke and Duchess of Windsor in this category as they were always unpopular.

Can you think of any examples of people who have fallen so spectacularly?

I know people say " they live in California, they have money blah blah" but their reputation is one that most people would not want.

Is it purely because of their seeming complaining and sense of entitlement ? I mean you don't see the real philanthropists in this way - in fact you rarely hear about them and what they do.

I am an American and a NYC resident. Lived through 911 and the aftermath. I dislike Harry because:

• he's in my country possibly under a dodgy visa and calls our First Amendment bonkers.
• the aviation award. He's no Sully.
• the Pat Tillman Award. Footage in the US shows thst he was booed when he accepted it. He did nothing to deserve it. Pat's own mother asked him not to accept it.

-NYC- the car chase, the escort for the tattoos. Seriously?

• the LA fires. He's not FEMA, an elected official, or LAFD. People were not allowed to go to their home to look for their pets and missing loved ones, yet he did a photo op on uncleared remains.
• I'm not seeing a donation to the LAFD, still battling flames, or to the different groups helping with the animals ( yes, I donated what to me was alot of money).

-fire fighters from Canada and Mexico, despite recent tensions with the US, are assisting. Prisoners from the CA jails are fighting the fire. They are the real dragonslayers. Not Harry.

Megan is clueless, luckiest, and apparently talentless. Once again, touring the fire site was a massive sign of hubris.

Not fan of either of them.

This is what we are talking about. The extent of things which are thrown about on SM and in the press. Are the Sussexes highlighted more in these aspects? If so why? For instance we are hearing details about Blake Lively and we have heard about Amber Heard to just pick two out. I'm sure there are things made up about them too and in putting themselves out there they attract even more dirt slinging. Is it the quiet people who don't get this? I'm trying to think eg Reese Witherspoon - no loads of shit about her. Is it because of the Sussexes highly visible participation part of why they are targeted so much?

When we have shown that this happens, that there are deliberate campaigns against ppl I no longer trust what I see appearing in socials and the press nor will I comment on it because I don't want to be a cog in their wheel fulfilling their nasty agenda.
