I don't think a lot of the posters on here care two figs about what has happened over there. It's just an excuse for an endless merry go round of miserable critical posts about the both of them who have linked sources, tried to help and Meghan who grew up over there and Harry showing empathy to those that have lost so much.

It's really distasteful and nothing to do with the ongoing tragedy that is not over yet.

How do you know she asked if she could help? She was shown around by the mayor so she must have been looking a the devastation. Of course she will call herself Californian and she can visit places, but it’s not always appropriate to do so, just because you can

Noone knows how long they were there helping in total. What is known is that sources saying they spent 45mins walking and meeting people. The mayor then says they were also here before helping to hand out food. Therefore they spent more than 45 mins.

I provided my evidence quoting the mayor on what he said about then spending additional time helping. As I said before are you calling the mayor a liar then?

Well we can be pretty sure it wasn't very long!

And nobody is calling the mayor anything fgs!

So you want to say thay about Jennifer Garner too then? Not appropriate for her to go to another community she doesn't live in and help out and meet the firefighters and families affected?

If they made it all about themselves, that is all I would see on the news. I have watched a variety of news channels a lot and I have only seen about 20 seconds of them in all the footage over days and days so no you are quite incorrect it is not all about them it is about what's happening over there, whether the fires have done their worst, and how the people so impacted are coping

So are you saying she didn't get in a photo line-up and hug everyone in sight? During the short period they were actually there?

I saw an interview given by Jennifer Garner to news tv. She said that her church and school that her kids go to had been destroyed and that she was there to help.

We've seen them 'in action' before so it's a pretty good bet. I don't "desperately" want anything. They are not that important. I'm just entertaining myself of an evening.

And you being their cheerleader can't confirm they were there for a long time?!

I'd have had more respect for them if they hadn't put out a grandiose statement and had gone there and actually rolled their sleeves up. I am not impressed by hugs and photos.

It would have been nice for once not to have any criticism for them but they are so up themselves and so lacking in self awareness, I doubt that is going to happen.

My point is that she lives in Palisades and she travelled to Altadena to help out. So if people are to criticise.H&M for travelling to help out then why not criticise Jennifer.

And no using the well her town was burnt down so it's right for her to help but if peoples houses or twins didn't then it's inappropriate to help doesn't wash. Infact those who still have their homes are the most appropriate people to be helping out whilst those who have lost everything can come to terms with it all.

I don't know who the others are but I stand over my assertion that such a group photo was utterly tasteless in the circumstances and I have zero idea how you can justify it. The criticism is absolutely justifiable. And the thread is primarily about Meghan, not the others in the lineup.

Why do you keep mentioning the word liar? At no point have I used that.

For all you know, the 45 mins total, could have been over both visits. You don’t know and you have zero evidence as to how long they were there on their first visit.

Because if your going to insist it's 45mins as you said earlier and I show you a quote from the article saying sources said they spent 45 mins meeting people and then i show you a seperate quote from the mayor saying that they initially came here and helped hand out food and noone knew it was them then that is clearly two different things they did. So the 45mins is only the meeting people bit. They then spent other time handing out food. So your wrong to insist they only spent 45mins.

So now you say well it could be 45 mins for both things but the quotes don't back you up what the quotes do show is they did two things (potentially on sifferent days hard to say) one was definitely 45 mins the other noone knows how long they spent doing so hence are you calling the mayor a liar in saying they spent time handing out food which is additional time?

And the mayor is quoted saying they were initially handing out food and noone knew it was them as theyvhad masks on..so that's the evidence 🙄 again unless you are calling the mayor a liar....?

Show the quotes then of the separate events and times…..

Oh dear god, nobody has called the mayor a liar! Give it a rest! Nobody appears to know how long they spent handing out food but I'd be pretty sure it wasn't long!

No your missing the point I'm making.

There are people heavily criricisng H&M travelling 2hrs to Pasadena to help the World's Kitchen org hand out food to firefighters etc. They say its not her community, she doesnt live there so why she go.

My point is Jennifer also went to Altadena (just nr Pasadena) to help the same organisation hand out food etc. She doesn't live in Altadena so why did she travel 1hr then? Thats not her community she doesn't live there she lives in Palisades.

And there we see the double standards it's okay for Jennifer to do it but not H&M.

She probably also helped out locally in Palisades room but that's not the point I was making.
