Well they have partnered with the organization before via Archewell. They probably called up and asked how they could help and then went where they were r they could help. You know they went before the second visit where pics were taken.

Do you also know Jennifer Garner who lives in Palisadss (unfortunately lost her home and a friend) also asked how she could help and went to Altadena to do so. She lives 1hr away but in LA traffic would take much longer. She was also photographed too. So why is she going over there schmoozing when she lives an hour away? Why not stay in Palisades and help since the fire isn't completely out?

Perhaps when they both asked the organiser how they could help he said hey we need help in Altadena right now ...that is what is likely to have happened. You go where you are told help is needed, if you wanted to help are you going to say nah I'm not driving 2hrs to go help 🙄

I’m not sure William will strip Anne, Edward or Andrew (as they children of a monarch) of Prince/ss titles, but I think he may do with grandchildren of the monarch once Kents and Gloucesters have gone. Just my tuppence worth. Will retain for George’s dcs, but not Louis’. Charlottes dc won’t get them anyway.

Jennifer Garner worked all day. She was in the Palisades during the day and Altadena in the evening- she was with World Central Kitchens doing drop offs/ serving.

Not a 45 min visit with tour flung in.

As I said they had already done a previous visit where pictures weren't taken.

Initially the couple visited the relief center “anonymously,” with the Pasadena mayor telling, “No one knew they were serving food with masks.”

so no they didn't just pop in for 45mins it was a second trip. Unless you want to call the mayor a liar...

He would never strip Anne, but I think he would wait until she passes.
Which might be a long time because if there was the end of days, I have a suspicion that it would just be Anne and the cockroaches left….and Cher

And how long was the first visit, where there is no record?

The area that Jennifer Garner lives in is still under an evacuation order so there was probably little she could do in her local area. She was indeed in Altadena. The Sussexes were in Pasadena. Close, but not the same place. I very much doubt that the Sussexes would have been asked to drive two hours to help out. I would imagine that Jennifer Garner was not asked either, but just turned up

Jennifer Garner asked the head of WCK if she could join him for the day as he managed the different relief areas that his organisation was contributing to so that she could learn where best to help to liaise and focus relief efforts as part of her role with Save the Children. He was standing right next to her when she gave a short interview to the press and seemed very happy to have had her support.

In my opinion, she probably shouldn't have been there that day for her own sake as she was clearly in shock and grieving and on the edge of tears- it was very much her community, her family church, and her friends and their families who had been badly affected (rather than just LA resident) - at a different interview a reporter approached her to talk to her as she seemed to be just standing there and it was because she was lost in thought staring at the house where her friend had died, and she had to do this very poignant 'reset' to be able to answer the reporter's questions on camera.

I assume she just felt she needed to do something - she talked of feeling guilty that her house was still standing.

Why on earth go twice? Could they not just have stayed and helped?

She also admitted that she used her 'celebrity' to connect with him to offer to help out,, rather than 'sit on her hands at home'. I did see her being interviewed, and it seemed to be an impromptu interview rather than an organised one..

I do think she can be a bit of an attention seeker, but at least she was honest about how her celebrity got her the gig, plus she didn't request / accept a guided tour of the remains of locals destroyed homes.

I have seen two timeframes for H&M visit, 17 mins and 45mins.

Jennifer didn't need a tour of the neighbourhood where she was helping because it is her neighbourhood. She was doing what in sure anyone would do, helping her neighbours and using her celebrity to highlight the need for money for people like Save the Children and WCK, who she had worked with for years.

I haven't seen any celebrities being given guided tours of ruins except Harry and Meghan and regardless of how it came about I don't think it's a good look for the mayor or them.

The 'serving food anonymously' thing makes me laugh.

I suspect most people in Pasadena simply did not know who they were. I doubt the 5th in line to the British throne and his wife were in anyone's thoughts. Hence the need for a camera crew.

But you could see how upset and shaken she was - I do think that she was still shell shocked and mid the trauma of the situation. I sometimes think you don't remember the early days of disasters like this and what you did.

So are you calling the mayor a liar when he said they came before and were helping out? That is record enough that they did help.

It was two visits in the same one day. It was probably just the one visit and they had a break, maybe they just went to the toilet! 😂

You don't know where she was evacuated to so you can't say how close she was.

The whole point of volunteering to help is saying hey do you need help and going to where help is needed. They decided going 2hrs to help was okay for them. I'd drive 2hrs to go volunteer help in this country of there was ever a disaster like that.

Jennifer did not just turn up she is quoted saying "And because of my work with Save The Children, we have a relationship with the chef, and I was able to just say, 'Can I be with you for the day? What can I do to help? Put me to work.' "

So now what? It's okay for Jennifer to ask howndhe can help and travel to help but not okay if H&M do the same? Why is it okay if Jennifed is photographed talking to people whilst she was there but not H&M?

See above post that says she also helped out where she lives at Pacific Pallisades. I don’t know where she was evacuated to, but if the area where she lives was under an evacuation order then there probably weren’t that many people around to give help
to 🤷‍♀️. She probably didn’t take her security detail with her either…

Random people coming to 'help' for short periods such as 45 minutes aren't really that much help. By the time you've shown them where everything is and what they need to do, they're off. If they insist on bringing camera crews and 'security' then they're more of a hindrance than a help. You'd really need to be there for half a day at least to be of any real assistance.

Anybody with any ounce of common sense knows the answer to that.

I've never seen so much stretching before as I see on here to try to justify the Sussexes being in Pasadena.

if you watch the video Serenster linked, the reporter clearly says she saw them on the road and asked them to join her on camera, it wasn't pre arranged. Also she is wearing WCK hat and he is wearing a WCK vest, they were clearly there on behalf of WCK.

Could have been 5 minutes!
