I wonder if this is to do with the launch of her ARO brand/lifestyle and cooking show?

I'm a bit bored so I looked on Instagram and there are 15 accounts with some variation of ARO (the full name). If I were her I'd just ditch that idea, this looks a better style for her.

I think it’s fake as she always describes herself (incorrectly) as ‘Meghan, THE Duchess of Sussex’.

If you go to the account it's got her title. I don't think this is fake but I could be wrong.

No I mean the account just says ‘Meghan, Duchess of Sussex’ (which is correct) - she usually adds the ‘the’.

Isn’t.. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, what her name would be if they divorce?

It's very cheesy. She has no sense of irony though so she and her target audience probably see it as wholesome and aspirational.

I really hope all those who sneered at Kate and Will's Holkham beach video are going to think the same thoughts about this, if real.

Her clothing is an odd choice. Very middle aged woman attire. White linen on the beach. A Nancy Meyers vibe. Has anyone seen something’s gotta give?

meghan as a username rather than Meghanmarkle is a power move! Hope this means she’s finally going to settle on a brand as herself, something that leans more Tig than ARO.

The informally seems a better fit for her than the ARO video. The endless black and white seems a bit dated and I still don't know what she is trying to say or sell.

Well it is her married name - it's not like her husband has a surname if she wanted to take it. I'm not sure what else people expect her to use, unless she stuck with her birth name.

They do….they use the name Sussex.
They could have also used Mountbatten-Windsor

(And she could have taken the surname Mountbatten-Windsor, as did Archie and Lilibet before they became prince/princess; or Sussex; or basically anything given that she’s living in a country that doesn’t recognise titles.)

Many do. I would. I also accept the choice of women who do chose to change theirs.

Neither of which is actually his surname though. They could chose to use them, yes, but they aren't his - and through marriage her - name.
