Well said. Anyone who doesn't revile Meghan is a member of the Sussex squad. And so many people are, as you say, just ordinary women who have a different opinion and feel the constant denigration of another woman is wrong.

Yet funnily enough, these same posters were not posting in the same outrage on the vast amount of threads bullying Catherine last year…..those threads were the worst I have ever seen on this platform.

So many posters name changed after that period. Hopefully because they were and still are so ashamed of themselves. The people who were as shocked as me by the threads and reporting them are still on here with the same user names.

She's a beautiful woman who seems a genuinely lovely person, I loved her on Strictly and more recently when she had her portrait painted on Sky arts Portrait artist of the year.
She was subjected to horrible racism when she married, but her style seems to be to carry on being lovely and rise above it.
She doesn't do complaining and victimhood.
I'd be sorry to see her lower herself to engage with this nonsense, the better way is to celebrate the new fans and positive publicity. Which I'm sure is what she will be doing.

For Christmas this year I bought loads of Highgrove jam for people. Treated myself to a two-jar gift set, too. Prepared to be disappointed, but they are really the best jam I've bought. I can highly recommend them, and ill be buying more.

That was part infuriating part hilarious the way some posters tied themselves in knots trying to defend an out and out lie .

And some of us are just ordinary, normal people chatting about the RF and what is revealed in the public domain?

I don't see "bullying" - other than that the insults applied to anyone who expresses a negative opinion on the pair of them!?

Do you remember when one of them let the cat out of the bag about how they were chatting about threads among themselves somewhere away from MN? I can't remember if it was on another forum like Reddit - there was possibly some mention of knowing each other's email addresses?

Anyway, it certainly wasn't In The Spirit of MN, where a thread is supposed to be a spontaneous conversation.

The trailer for Meghan’s new cookery show has been released by Netflix on YouTube. Netflix has failed to switch off the comments. It’s an interesting read.
Not sure whether this is an oversight or they are gaging the reception it’s likely to receive.

After all they make their money via subscription and if people are leaving in droves they will likely be trimming the unpopular programmes.
Maybe the “Polo” series had a negative effect on finances.

Ha, yeah, anyone who is for a moment fooled by the pretence that Mumsnet is a hotbed of anti-Meghan should spend a minute reading the comments on YouTube.

I am just fascinated by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. I can honestly say that in seven decades of walking the earth, I have never come across anyone quite like her ( or maybe I should say, as she seems to be). 39 pages seem to indicate I am not alone.

I think most women have come across other women like Camilla, or Sophie, or Beatrice or even Kate. Most of us have come across Jess Phillips and Lady Thornberry, yes, even Jill Biden. Not exactly like them, of course (‘ yes, we are all individuals’) but as types or patterns, they are recognisable .

But Meghan is something quite unique, I don’t think anyone understands her even glancingly. Those threads where people have to say whom they would like to meet , and people say Elizabeth 1, or Joan of Arc, or Mary Magdalene or Anne Hathaway….I would choose Meghan. I would just like to be in the same room and look into her eyes, and see what dances there.

Our tabloid media is aggressive, nasty and sexist.

The Queen, PoW, her mother and sister, and MM should never have had to put up with their disgraceful, continuous attacks in decades of abuse.

The women are human shields for the King and Prince of Wales, who hide behind them and say nothing while their partners are being abused. Presumably to avoid getting pasted themselves.

It is a devastating price of entry, with humiliation at its core.

MM seems to have decided that the price is too high.
