I think for even those that are interested in what Meghan has to say, there’s been too many false starts, exciting projects that came to nothing…so what’s the point on investing your interest. She’s used up a lot of goodwill already. Think a lot of people will wait to see if anything comes of it, then slowly sign up.

I think you'll find than on MN people don't even pay lip service to it. It's a discredited slogan, mainly for 2 reasons
a) it's applied misogynistically (only women are told to shut up in this way)
b) it's been adopted by bullies and also those with massive egos in an attempt to make their actions beyond reproach

It also usually falls into the category of (to use the old sporting saying) "playing the man not the ball" as it's normally an attempt to discredit someone as nasty, without actually engaging with whether what they say is accurate/fair or inaccurate/prejudiced

I haven't been using Instagram for long- I know I am very behind the curve! However I have noticed that the accounts I follow will update at a minimum every couple of days. It could be a small or big thing but it kind of just reminds you they are there and keeps you interested. As M gained hundreds of thousands of followers overnight, you can see the potential of her account but if she doesn't upload anything soon, I think it will come to nothing, just like ARO.

Problem is hundred of thousands is nothing in the scheme of things, Katie Hopkins has over 900 thousand followers.

Accounts also rely on engagement to work. If she’s turned off the comments and the likes counter…..then it’s just releasing pics/vids.

Also her bio pic is also showing the new sexy meghan. Actually like her hair like this. But it’s clear this is the relaxed Californian, wearing all white, running around the beach, smell the fart acting, lifestyle brand look.

Serious boss lady producer was the tight bun hair. Seen as that career never worked out. It’s now mermaid beach hair for the lifestyle brand.

I think that’s where she goes wrong. She’s took the idiom, ‘ dress for the job you want’ and that’s where the talent for any of her jobs begins and ends.

The expectation is that it will grow - even though it's considerably down from the level attracted by sussexroyal, it's still good numbers.

But people will only stay, and new ones will only arrive, if the content is good and sufficiently frequent.

Think there will be a lot pre prepared content. Stuff done weeks, months ago that her team will slowly put out.

That’s a problem because your account also needs to feel current, reflect your daily goings on. That’s what people want a slice of.

This will just be a catalogue of professionally curated pics that will end up feeling sanitised. Pics that can’t be dated etc. Won’t feel tangible, accessible and relatable.

One of my daughters has an Instagram page for her business and she posts most days . Says if she doesn’t, people lose interest very quickly .
Meghan really needs to keep the momentum going .

Without comments and engagement etc, it's just basically the same PR they give to People and their other preferred PR vehicles for placement. Insta at least won't cost them anything, so maybe a cost cutting exercise ?

Also without switching the comments section on, she won’t get the algorithms working for her. Which at under a million followers she’ll need, along with posting frequently.

because posters who follow Meghan’s fashion on instagram have now identified the dress she is wearing in the bio pic of “new sexy Meghan” that Aspargar posted above is in fact….. a Khaite dress. 🤣

So looks I’ve been able to accurately predict one aspect of her content so far. Let’s see what the future holds!

Interestingly, royal reporter Camilla Tominey, much derided by fans of Harry and Meghan, reported in February last year that this was Meghan’s instagram account (when it was a lower case “meghan” and a bio picture of flowers). So she clearly does have good sources.

She added her title following her first post yesterday which accounts for the different username.
She has held that account since June 2022 apparently. There were rumours that the account was hers but no one knew for sure. People have commented on her title missing the “The” which would be the title she would have post divorce, (hopefully this won’t happen, I’m not wishing for this but simply pointing it out) so a bit of a faux pas there.

The worst and most vile things on social media are from supporters of the Sussexes.
She has held this Instagram account for two and a half years, she knows all about the horrific abuse her supporters spew, that’s for sure.

As for denials, we all know that she will mislead (lie) to a court of law, so her denials mean nothing. She’s like a leaky sieve, she can’t help herself.

Does this all link in with the cooking show launch?

Launch insta a few weeks before the show launch? Or knows the cooking show is canned, so she’s going full pelt at the last chance of fame she can get?

Has she been paid by instagram to provide a buzz around instagram??

Because people are definitely talking of instagram if not Meghan and/or her content 🤔
